Woman, 92, Dies in Shootout With Police

A 92-year-old woman was shot to death Tuesday after she fired at three narcotics officers trying to serve a warrant at her house, officials said.

Neighbors and relatives said it must have been a case of mistaken identity. Police said they had the right address.

Absolutely unbelievable. Kicking in old ladies’ doors.

All for the stupid idea that anyone can be prevented from taking drugs.

  1. I find it hard to believe that anyone would think that this is a legitimate outcome. Do we now have the death penalty for defending yourself? DO we kill old ladies to rid the world of drugs? What happened to an old lady’s home is her castle? No I’m not happy with the outcome. And, the police think they are John Rambo. Time for a big change in our thinking lest we become the victim. imho

  2. I think that she should have been shot.the police was just doing their job and she had shot at them. I would have shot her too if she was shooting at me

    The lady was simply defending herself..
    I think this was a case of mistaken identity.
    They simply made a mistake and she was trying to defend herself thinking that there was a person breaking into her house.
