They should not be trusted.

The sheer evilness of these antics are clear as day; say and do anything to generate profit even if it completely destroys others. The unwitting and innocent lined up with absolute trust in these officials. Many corrupt spokespersons for the corrupt media. Always, always follow the money. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion aren’t part of this plan from the elitist caste system. They are of their own kind, using their homogenous class to keep us riddled with illness, fear, doubt, subservience and obedience.

Continue to move forth in your sovereignty and empower yourself with supplies, medications, protection, and the truth.

Sorry but there have been rumors that in the USA politicians like Old Befuddled Joe got saline injections purporting to be covid jabs.  Of course, all these reports were dismissed as “Conspiracy Theories”.  Now we have evidence that at least in New Zealand, the “elite” were exempt.  Fair to ask: who, why, and how?

Why don’t we have an equivalent disclosure in the USA?

A marketing whore?

That’s a little “hard”.

Is that like a man is assertive and a woman is bitchy?

You have to admire that her net worth reportedly jump about 165M$ in the last year. And, that’s what they know about. Her merchandise sales and tie ins fly under the radar.

She’s really the successor to Reba who succeeded Dolly.

The only question is can she sustain it.

The stuff that I read says that there are 2 year transitions early in the “star career” early between 14 and 21. Then they begin to lengthen until they finally become decades. Cites of successful transitions are Betty White, Liz Taylor, Jodi Foster, and Madona. Cites of unsuccessful are Jenna Elfman, Lindsey, Pink, Barbara Striesand, Jane Fonda, and on and on.

It’s a tough business and the public is fickle.

I’d cite Lady Kazan, who technically had a better voice than her contemporary Babs, but lost out. Judy Collins succeeded over Jody Mitchell but couldn’t make the transition form Folk music to the Beetles.

I feel bad for people with a gift who’s gift for whatever reason can not make the leap. “Starving artist” is a cliche.

At the very least, someone like these people must “make hay while the sunshines” because at any minute the music can stop and they are left without a chair.

I think the thing that I admire most about a Taylor Swift is that she “knew” what she wanted to do so early in life and had the huevos to go for it. She sounded “sad” when she said she wanted to go to college but made a decision to forego it to pursue her career. Her “stones” came out when she passed on the record deal from RCA. (Wonder who, if anyone, got fired for that?) And, she had the chutzpah to sign with a start up record label as their Number One artist.

Amazing.

Shows me the nerve of a cat burglar. The savvy of a NYC three card mote dealer. And the Noblise Oblige of some one who’s living their dream.

Argh!

RANT: Taylor is not the marketing maven I thought she was

Personally, I was astonished!

She is supposedly a “marketing maven”.

BUT!

She missed the boat — or someone did — with the Walgreen’s deal.

FIRST, She should have has a “display clause”. “Her” display was messy! Needed to be “straightened”.

SECOND, she should have INSISTED on a higher quality notebook.

(a) the paper used in her notebook was of flimsy quality; (not that I think it has to be great, but it was like tissue paper)

(b) it has no red margin line line normal loose leaf filler; (how much did that add to the bottom line!) AND

(c) I was expecting some “personalization”. (Since her audience is tweens, preteens, and at least one fat old white injineer I would suggest that the “notebooks” should have taken the opportunity to communicate something inspirational to all the young girls who hang on her every word and one fat old white guy injineer who wishes he was 50 years younger.)

If I was a “pop star”, then I hope I would try to “communicate” with my young girl fans?

Do I tell them to: (a) study hard? (b) close your knees and bring about world peace; or (c) figure out what you want to be when you grow up like I did and don’t let anyone distract you from your goal.

Out while being a dirty old man, a very young lady came and sat next to me. Maybe 12-14 years old. Before she sat down, she pulled up her jeans. No belt. Obviously, the pants sag as she walk. Not a hefty enough figure to hold them up. (Hey, it’s physics!)

So what’s wrong with wearing a belt or suspenders?

Just asking.

I never see Taylor Swift pull at her trou or dress. (She has people for that!)

Either that or bring her Mom and Dad on any date.

It is a stunning failure.

Let’s not kid anyone, she’s the prize “cow” in their “barn”. You tell me if she pitches a hissey fit — which I have never heard of her doing — that they won’t do what she wants?

Just doing that ONCE for the FIRST time would even make a bigger impact on the “label”. Bet that would be online in two shakes of an inet admin in one hand and graphic artist in another. THe label head would be grabbing huevos to please the prize “cow”!

I also read that the “label” was concerned that performing for WalMart might damage her “image”. I think trying to “kinda partially hide” is a bigger dent.

Stayed up too late, two nights in a row.

Saturday night, watch FLOTUS present Ms. Swift with the “Big Help” award. The two were obviously fans of each other.

(But I did think the acceptance speech was awkward, but heart felt. Maybe the little girl is growing up and can’t just wing it anymore.)

(Yeah, I know. No life watching the slime show.)

I thought FLOTUS was a good sport when the slime flew. Some commenters on the UK site thought she was the devil incarnate. Fair’s fair. While I don’t like her politics, she did well inspiring little kids. And I heard nothing political in her words. And, it seemed like her girls were having a ball.

Sunday night, ACM entertainer of the year (again). (She owes it all to Meridith the cat. That probably sent all the tweens and teens to voting.) Sad that she was dateless. But she showed real class with her “shout out”.

The Break-Up Story

Sometimes, I get tired of love stories. So here’s the story of how my ex and I broke up.It was Saturday, March 12th, 2011, and I remember because it was the first official day of Spring break. I was a sophomore in college at that time, and I had just begun a recovery process that was going to take about a year to come to fruition.

I was recovering from over 4 months of ulcers and IBS, which played a part in me getting panic disorder a few weeks after I started the spring semester. It had gotten to a point where I had to go on medication, and a week after I started taking meds was Valentine’s Day. My ex and I were in a long distance relationship, so he sent me a card in the mail saying how he would support me during this hard time, and how he would be there for me.

Wonder how I’d have felt if I’d lost my soul mate. Kinda like a feel now. I’m sure that a God who’s all good would not let that happen (i.e., you never meet that soul mate).

My soul mate passed on about a year ago. So, I can somewhat empathize with what your feeling.

All I can say is, that like I’m doing, is to pick up your burden — if I was a better Catholic, I’d say “cross” — and move on.

Not easy. I use a lot of music by Taylor Swift — stop laugh at a poor fat old white guy injineer — which I find strangely empathetic to my life.

Learnings from the Taylor Swift’s Auburn video

1) YouTube and Verizon have issues

Watching a YouTube video is a mess. You can figure out what the technical dimension the problem is. Users don’t have access to the diags necessary to tell where or what the problem really is. What’s worse one always has to be suspicious that either or both have their “thumb” on the scale. Verizon to sell FIOS or 4G. YouTube to extract payment from the ISPs.

2) YouTube software

Try resetting a video to someplace other than the beginning. Doesn’t work for me. But shouldn’t it DL the file to you so you can play it over and over. You shouldn’t need a utility or another site to collect it for you. Plus why can’t we have one open standard for video.

3) Assumption

You have to admire the innovation of these two Auburn guys, and one webmaster, for their ability to capture the essence of the inet and social media. Taylor Swift gets kudos for finding them, challenging them, and making the event. Of course, if I made 35M$ last year, I’d take a chance. Maybe not! It could have been a bust. So there was some risk in it for her. She could have been playing to an empty house. Not very likely. She could have leaked it to her fan base minutes before and I’m sure the tweens and teens would have packed the joint. I know I’d have gone. Everyone won. They got their hug; she got the buzz.

4) Make it happen

You have to admire these fellow’s ability to “instantiate” their vision. The Eastern philosophies always suggest that vision precedes actuality. These fellows demonstrated that principle. Or is it a meme? You have to visualize the end and the Universe will “make it so”. To steal a Star Trek line.

5) Noblese oblige

Taylor Swift exemplifies this meme. She could have, but never has, sat in her tour bus and counted her pennies. How to say one of her CPAs wasn’t doing this for her ( i.e.: “Taylor, do realize what this is going to cost you?” “So, how much is five million hits on YouTube worth in terms of paid downloads?”)? She seems propelled by human emotion. But buzz does translate to dollars, so she can be ‘frisky’. Knowing that the “buzz” is worth gazillions. That doesn’t diminish her. She really is an icon.

6) Fun

You have to be “hard hearted” not to enjoy the serendipity of the whole scenario. Other than a “young girl skirt” around some rowdy college students, one would be hard pressed to find a flaw in the whole video. Marginally, one can feel bad for the campus and her security people who had to make her safe. You can see the expressions on their faces that they were not happy on what should have been a sleepy afternoon. You have to wonder how the many folks who were “locked out” felt? Sorry, but I always look at the silent majority feels. I’d have been the 350+1!

There is so much to learn from this whole “thing”; it’s stunning.

Biggest thing is that Taylor Swift has a natural sense of “playfulness”. For a super star to play along with the gag is impressive. I’m sure that her marketing people thought of this as a marketing bonanza.

It demonstrates that principle of intention. That is that everything begins with an intention.

Clearly, they never knew how it was going to work out, but they defined the end state and pursued it.

The joy of both the guys and the star. It’s obvious and palpable.

Leaders create their reality.

It’s well know that I have a tremendous amount of respect for Taylor Swift. I’m not some dirty old man; just old. I think she’s got a lot of attributes worth emulating. The recent bikini picture upset me. Not for the suit or that it’s on the net, but she looks anorexic.

So, I pledge $100 donation to the charity of her choice for her to gain ten pounds.

I’ll even take a picture of her eating fast food. (If you listen to the “food police”, that will make you instantly fat.)

You look at pictures of her from 2004 to today and you can see the girl get thinner by the year.

Now she looks like a death camp inmate.

So, I hope she can “plump” up a little. She doesn’t have to become a heifer. Just make it back a few pounds.

Think of all those young girls with body image issues.

Hope her Mom speaks to her frankly.
