JOBSEARCH: JIBBERJOBBER’s document section doesn’t permit cut’n’paste

Ahh hah!

I stuffed some doc in JIBBERJOBBER and realized a flaw. It’s wants to upload all docs. Admirable. But what if you want to cut’n’paste something from a webpage.

It should allow you to do that. You are getting the space.

    John, 4 thoughts:

    1. This is for docs related to a job search that you want to have access to, like resumes, cover letters, letters of reference, etc.

    2. If you want to grab notes or whatever from a website and put it on a company, do it as a log entry.

    3. This next week we’ll be releasing the new job tracking enhancements (per your earlier observation) and you’ll be able to have a better way to manage/organize a particular job, even if not associated with a document.

    4. If you want to have “something from a webpage” that doesn’t fit anywhere” above, copy and paste it in your personal library – where you can put rich text in but no one else can see it.
