I am for turning over all the “rocks” and see what scandals “crawl out into the sunshine”. I’d start by getting low-level aides and secretaries in front of grad juries, immunize them, and just ask questions. It dawned on me today (okay, I’m a little slow on the uptake) that the legacy media is using the same gaslighting technique in reporting on Joe Biden and the War in Ukraine.
The term “gaslighting” comes from the 1938 play Angel Street, which was later adapted into the film Gaslight, in which a man tries to convince his wife that she is going insane so he can steal from her. When he turns on the lights in the attic to search for her jewelry collection, and the gas lights dim downstairs, he tells her it’s all in her imagination. Gradually she begins to question her own memories and perceptions.
The legacy media’s repeated insistence over the last two years that Ukraine was whooping the tar out of Russia on the battlefield, is the same tactic as the media’s claims that Joe Biden is a certifiable jeopardy candidate who could run circles around Albert Einstein were he still with us. Both messages are designed to bamboozle the public. But it is a failed tactic once visual, certifiable facts are on display and can no longer be dismissed as “conspiracy theories.”
Gaslighting is both a political tactic and technique designed to persuade you that you did not see nor hear what you saw and heard. Tonight’s interview on ABC of Joe Biden by Clinton protege, George Stephanopoulos, is a departure from the gaslighting and represents, instead, Biden’s last chance to persuade top Democrat officials and donors that last Thursday’s debate debacle was an aberration. It was not. Biden failed the test. The Democrats wanted it done on Friday night because it is not a big TV ratings night and any stumbles by Biden would be less damaging than if he did a full public melt-down in Prime Time like last Thursday’s debate.

Who decided to persecute Trump and rig trials against him?

We know that Woodrow Wilson and FDR were infirm at the end of their terms and that wives were running things or were at least thought to be running things.
Time for a Constitution amendment establishing an upper age limit for politicians and bureaucrats.
I’d suggest that it’s the Social Security full-benefits retirement age! In addition to term-limits for every elective office.

If Democrats stick with Biden under those circumstances, they’ll be inviting the second coming of Trump.

Sounds like we need to put a mandatory retirement age along with term limits amount some of the other changes need to cut the Gooferment down in size and intrusiveness.
At the very least repealing the Seventeenth Amendment would put the State Legislatures back in charge of Senators and eliminate “carpet bagging” individuals from buying seats to the big graft bonanza.
A mandatory retirement age tied to the Social Security “full benefit” retirement age might be a nice touch.
Then kill many if not all of the TLAs (i.e., three letter agencies). If we do need a small Department of Agriculture to help the States coordinate, then they should reside in the State they are coordinating for but I bet the States could figure out how to do it faster, cheaper, and easier.

The Supreme Court Friday stuck down Texas and Louisiana’s legal challenge to new Biden administration border policies that violate federal statutes and harm citizens in Texas and Louisiana, the states argued. (Read the full ruling below.)
All justices besides Samuel Alito concurred in the opinion that Texas and Louisiana lack standing to challenge the new rules, which the Department of Homeland Security promulgated in 2021.
Texas and Louisiana argued that federal law requires law enforcement to arrest certain noncitizens upon their release from prison or entry of a final order of removal, but the new DHS rule only prioritizes the arrest and removal of noncitizens who are suspected terrorists or dangerous criminals who unlawfully entered the country recently. The states claimed that these rules harmed them by imposing extra costs by requiring them to continue to incarcerate or supply social services—such as health care and education—to noncitizens.

It’s July 4, 2023, and President Kamala Harris is about to address the American people about Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Poland.
She’s been leader of the free world for six months since Joe Biden, implementing the 25th Amendment, abruptly resigned on the grounds of physical and mental incapacity after the Democrats suffered the worst midterm election mauling in history, losing 120 House seats and eight Senate seats.
This beat President Grover Cleveland’s long-held ignominious 1892 record of “biggest midterm wipe-out ever” and meant the Republicans seized back full control of Congress with paralyzing, agenda-wrecking majorities.
(It was reported that Biden fell into a spontaneous catatonic state after seeing the sheer size of his failure to persuade Americans he was doing a good job, though it took White House aides several days to realize he wasn’t acting normally.)
President Harris’ tenure in office has bordered on the miraculous, in that she has managed to be even worse than her predecessor — something political experts didn’t think was possible.
In fact, her presidency has been a catalog of calamities, dominated by woke-ravaged lunacy.
Her first decision was to make freshperson Congressperson Megan Rapinoe her vice president, saying how delighted she was to appoint the first gay woman to such high office — only for Rapinoe to wreck the historic moment by issuing a furious statement saying she now identified as a non-binary bisexual womb-carrier, so had never been so offended and was quitting before she even started.

Politicians, the media and citizens across the nation are united in denouncing the white man who slaughtered 10 black people at a Buffalo supermarket. There is also fury at how he was able to buy the rifle he used months after cops ordered a mental-health evaluation following an earlier threat to carry out a shooting.
Yet despite the anger and wall-to-wall media coverage, largely unsaid is what the punishment should be. That’s at least partially because New
York doesn’t allow the obvious answer — the death penalty.
Although the Empire State has not carried out an execution since 1963, it had the law on the books for many years until 2007. So even if a
county district attorney wanted to seek the ultimate punishment in this case, the state legal code doesn’t allow it.
But federal law does. And if President Biden considers the massacre to be as heinous as he claimed in his Tuesday remarks in Buffalo, he will direct Attorney General Merrick Garland to have federal prosecutors take over the case and, if they win a conviction, seek the death penalty.

I don’t care how “heinous” the crime, and I find this one to be abhorrent, I NEVER want the Gooferment to kill people.
As a pro-life pro-choice little L libertarian, the Gooferment is immoral, ineffective, and inefficient. As well as untrustworthy. How often do we find that the Gooferment gets things wrong?
In this particular case, the Gooferment and its “systems” failed to detect and stop this killer.
Personally, I’d like to have an investigation of when drugs, if any, he was taking. SSRIs?
Let’s lock him up forever, but keep him alive to be studied. And, as a constant reminder of the evil that he represents.
Besides capital cases, cost a small fortune and take decades.
I’m only for the death penalty when a “Hannible Lector” type is too dangerous to keep alive.

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has seemingly confirmed plans to siphon healthcare services away from American veterans treated at Veterans Affairs (VA) to illegal aliens arriving at the United States-Mexico border.
During a hearing before the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas confirmed to Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) that the Biden administration is in talks with VA officials to potentially transfer doctors and nurses to the southern border to treat illegal aliens arriving every day in record-breaking numbers.
“Is the department planning to reallocate resources, doctors and nurses, from our VA system intended to care for our veterans to illegal immigrants at our southern border?” Hinson asked.
Mayorkas responded, stating that “the resources that the medical personnel from the Veterans Administration would allocate to this effort is under the judgment of the secretary of Veterans Affairs, who prioritizes the interests of veterans above all others for very noble and correct.”

Joe Biden is rejecting another executive privilege claim by Donald Trump as he tries to invoke the right in order to withhold the White House visitor logs from the House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot.
In a letter sent to the National Archives on Tuesday, Biden’s White House Counsel Dana Remus told the archivist of the U.S. David Ferriero the agency should provide the material to the panel within 15 days.
Former President Trump is attempting to invoke executive privilege to keep the panel form obtaining the logs, just as he did with other White House documents that were turned over to the committee earlier this month.
The White House plans to inform Trump Wednesday morning of the rejection for his executive privilege claim.
Trump could try to block or slow the release of the logs like he did with other White House documents and materials.

THE BORDER GETS WORSE AND WORSE. These days, the Biden White House talks a lot about the border. At press briefings, there are many questions about the border. But it’s the Russia-Ukraine border. Meanwhile, the situation on the U.S.-Mexico border is deteriorating daily.
Two new developments. One, we are learning more about the administration’s covert effort to relocate thousands of illegal border-crossers — single, adult males, not families — into the nation’s interior. We’ll talk about that today. And tomorrow, the second development — new information about the changing makeup of the thousands of people crossing the border illegally each month.
First, the relocation effort. Last week, Fox News broadcast body camera footage from security officers at New York’s Westchester County Airport, about 30 miles outside Manhattan. It was the middle of the night. An unmarked passenger jet had just landed, and a steady stream of single, adult men came down the plane’s steps. They were accompanied by federal contractors.

The public knows very little about this process. How many illegal immigrants have been relocated? Where have they been sent? How many have been charged or convicted of crimes? How many have complied with the requirement to check in with immigration authorities? What nongovernmental organizations are assisting them? How much is the federal government paying for this? Is there a limit on how many will be relocated? And more.
The bottom line: Yes, the news is filled with reports on Ukraine, or COVID, or the latest twists and turns of the Biden agenda on Capitol Hill. But what’s happening on the border — the U.S.-Mexico border — is important news, and you need to know more about it.

What can we do to get the Biden administration to follow the law?
They are just trying to upset the voting balance of the country and penalize the “red states” for their political votes by loading them with social costs (i.e., crime, welfare, homeless).

President Biden’s topic was one of utmost importance Wednesday — crime and gun violence. But you wouldn’t know it from the way he spoke.
He slurred his words. He called the ATF “the AFT.” At one point, he talked about the history of the Second Amendment and “the blood of patriots” before concluding that someone would need nuclear weapons to take down the government. If you weren’t confused, you were horrified.
Biden was obviously tired, speaking in barely a monotone. He couldn’t pronounce “cognitive.”

As I said on Facebook, Biden and his speech writes are ignoring the Afghan irregulars, who armed with late 1890’s and early 1900’s weapons, fought the USSR and the USA to defeat.
Imagine what would happen in the USA where ⅓ of the population is armed with modern weapons, the hunters are even more dangerous, and our “drug gangs” have to be the finest light infantry in the world. (And “light” maybe a miss categorization.)
