GUNS: Didn’t the Afghan irregulars defeat the USSR and the USA?

Is no one going to mention how confusing and out of it Biden was?

  • Biden unveils crime reduction strategy, targets gun rights

*** begin quote ***

President Biden’s topic was one of utmost importance Wednesday — crime and gun violence. But you wouldn’t know it from the way he spoke.

He slurred his words. He called the ATF “the AFT.” At one point, he talked about the history of the Second Amendment and “the blood of patriots” before concluding that someone would need nuclear weapons to take down the government. If you weren’t confused, you were horrified.

Biden was obviously tired, speaking in barely a monotone. He couldn’t pronounce “cognitive.”

As I said on Facebook, Biden and his speech writes are ignoring the Afghan irregulars, who armed with late 1890’s and early 1900’s weapons, fought the USSR and the USA to defeat.

Imagine what would happen in the USA where ⅓ of the population is armed with modern weapons, the hunters are even more dangerous, and our “drug gangs” have to be the finest light infantry in the world. (And “light” maybe a miss categorization.)

The arrogance of politicians and bureaucrats!

It’s sad that a human being was killed. It’s sad that another human being has to carry that burden for the rest of his life. It’s sad that there was an injury presumed from “friendly fire”.

It is good that criminals are called to account.

I’d rather they all be afraid of the honest citizen than the other way around.

Politicians and bureaucrats want to disarm the people for their own nefarious purposes.

(I’ve given up the idea that they are honestly trying to make the country safer. Honest but mistaken. In the light of their continued insistence in complete disarmament to extent they talk about door to door search and siezure as if was even possible. They can’t even disarm criminals. Or keep drugs out of their prisons. So what is their motivation if it’s not to put people into camps?)

Seems like the Virginia “Democratic” legislature has just “poked the proverbial tiger with a stick”. “I fear all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.” — apocryphal quote attributed to Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto played by Soh Yamamura in the movie ‘Tora Tora Tora’

Μολὼν λαβέ … … from my cold dead hand!

GUNS: NJ = the Pepul’s republik of Nu Jerzee

The New Jersey Democrats have forgotten that we have Constitutional rights. Their rubber stamp judiciary does nothing to reign in the Gooferment. No wonder the “state” is a disaster.

POLITICAL: Smoking is just the tip of the iceberg

Puff Away in Paley Park!

Though Hitler-admirer Nazi Bloomberg banned all smoking in public outdoor parks in Nazi York City, there is one small outdoor park where one can still sit back and enjoy a fine cigar: Paley Park. Why? Because Paley Park is a privately-owned park built by the late head of CBS, William S. Paley. Paley, a former smoker, believed that smoking was a God-given right, so he made sure that smoking was allowed on what is effectively his private property.

I think we need to throw Gooferment out of our personal lives!

Smoking is just the tip of the iceberg.

Guns, marriage, professional licenses, taxis, flood insurance, mortgage guarantees, “too big to fail”, … …

All areas of our life that should be off limits to Gooferment action.

BRYAN COUNTY, Oklahoma –

A 12-year-old girl took matters into her own hands during a home invasion in southeast Oklahoma.

It happened on Wednesday when the girl was home alone. She told police a stranger rang the doorbell, then went around to the back door and kicked it in. She called her mom, Debra St. Clair, who told her to get the family gun, hide in a closet and call 911.

“And what we understand right now, he was turning the doorknob when she fired through the door,” said the Bryan County Undersheriff Ken Golden.

While I’d NEVER fault any woman who survives this type of incident, I don’t firing through the door is the best solution.

I’d think you need to identify your target.

It does proven the difficulty of asking anyone to shoot another human eyeball to eyeball.

We can assume that this is not a handgun. Hence not the ideal weapon to use from a closet.

Her Dad will have to instruct her about the rule of thumb that says “pull until it clicks”.

Other than that, I think she did great!

“Victim disarmament is the view that it is somehow better to see a woman raped in an alley and strangled with her own pantyhose, than see her with a gun in her hand.” — T.D. Melrose
