FBI Refuses to Answer If It Participated in January 6 Under Grilling by Ted Cruz
KRISTINA WONG
11 Jan 2022
*** begin quote ***
A senior Federal Bureau of Investigations official repeatedly refused to answer when grilled by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) at a hearing on Tuesday whether the federal agency participated in the riot at the Capitol building on January 6.
Cruz questioned Jill Sanborn, who is executive assistant director of the FBI’s National Security Branch, whether any FBI agents participated in the events that unfolded on January 6, which Democrats have called an insurrection.
Cruz asked Sanborn, “How many FBI agents or confidential informants actively participated in the events of January 6?”
She responded, “Sir, I’m sure you can appreciate that I can’t go into the specifics of sources and methods.”
Cruz asked if “any FBI agents or confidential informants” actively participated in the events of January 6th. “Yes or no?” he asked. Sanborn responded, “Sir, I can’t answer that.”

I would assume that the answer is self-evident.

What’s So Frightening about Parochial Schools?
By Shannon Whitworth
January 07, 2022
*** begin quote ***
Based on the questioning coming from the Court in the Maine case, the general consensus is that the Court is leaning toward striking down the law that bans vouchers from use in parochial schools. Predictably, the reaction by the public school establishment has been over the top. These parochial school critics don’t want to pay for a school to teach any religion (other than Atheism). They are characterizing religious schools as bastions of intolerance, indoctrinating mindless drones who will take the first opportunity to attack the nearest available marginalized group they can find. Taxpayer dollars, they argue, should not go toward educating a child in such an environment. But these critics don’t mind if that low-income student is subjected to the violent, chaotic “environment” of a failing inner-city school. How is that attitude serving children in need?
A former vice principal at Milwaukee Lutheran would end the days’ announcements with “I love you. More importantly, He loves you.”
Love is at the heart of any great education. In this respect, it is the power of a parochial school to restore not only one’s faith in God, but also a struggling child’s hope for the future—generally, with better academics thrown in as a bonus. Any rational thinker would think that is taxpayer money well spent.
*** end quote ***
As a taxpayer paying for this “national disaster”, I am shocked that Gooferment Skrules are allowed to abuse these poor children.

Europe’s sky is filling up with near-empty polluting planes that serve little other purpose than safeguarding airlines’ valuable time slots at some of the world’s most important airports.
The highly contagious omicron variant of COVID-19 has put many off flying, and because of it, getting people and goods from point A to point B has become an afterthought for thousands of flights. It has created strange bedfellows, with environmentalists and major airlines united to cut down on empty or near-empty flights by pressuring the European Union — a pledged global leader in combating climate change — to tweak the rules on airport slots.
“The EU surely is in a climate emergency mode,” activist Greta Thunberg tweeted sarcastically this week, linking to a story about Brussels Airlines making unnecessary flights.
The company has said that if the EU doesn’t take action, it would have to fly some 3,000 journeys this winter primarily to safeguard its network rights.
German giant Lufthansa said it would have to fly an additional 18,000 “unnecessary” flights through the winter to hold on to landing slots. Even if the holidays brought a big increase in passengers — marked by thousands of flight cancellations that left travelers stranded — the rest of the winter period could be slow as omicron surges worldwide.
*** end quote ***
William Rusher, the editor of the conservative National Review, quoted economist Milton Friedman as saying that “if the government were to take over the Sahara Desert, there would be a shortage of sand in five years.”
Ditto, landing slots?
If the airlines could “rent” landing slots from a private entrepreneur, then surely an effective and efficient solution could be found that the didn’t entail flying empty place around at a staggering cost? But once the Gooferment politicians and bureaucrats get involved everyone suffers.

The man in his mid-20s was playing in the waist-deep water when he was knocked over by the powerful waves on the Binmaley beach in Pangasinan province as holidaymakers were celebrating the New Year on January 1.
Onlookers heard his cries for help and immediately banded together to reach the drowning man, who was struggling to stay afloat because of powerful tides.

Female cop was ‘shot dead in cold blood with her own gun as she pleaded for her life’: Illinois prosecutors seek death penalty for man and woman arrested for her murder and for critically injuring her partner
- An Illinois prosecutor is seeking the death penalty for Darius Sullivan and Xandria Harris who are accused of injuring a police officer and killing another
- Illinois is not a death penalty state, but the U.S. Attorney General can authorizing a filing for the ultimate punishment under certain circumstances
- Sullivan and Harris are charged with shooting dead Bradley police Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic, 49, on Wednesday and wounding her partner, Officer Tyler Bailey, 27
- Rittimanic pleaded with the pair for her life before she was fatally shot

A prosecutor is seeking the death penalty for two people charged with shooting dead a veteran Illinois police officer with her own weapon as she pleaded for her life on the ground and critically wounding her partner, who is now fighting for his life. Although Illinois isn’t a death penalty state, the U.S. Attorney General can authorize the filing of a petition to seek out the punishment in certain federal murder cases. In court on Monday, Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe painted the picture of a cold-blooded killing that deserved that designation during a bond hearing for Xandria Harris, 26 (bottom-right), of Bradley in the county’s Circuit Court. She and Darius Sullivan, 25 (bottom left), are charged with fatally shooting Bradley police Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic, 49 (top), and critically wounding her partner, Officer Tyler Bailey, 27 (inset), late Wednesday. Bailey is hospitalized at a Chicago-area hospital. ‘At the time Sullivan fired the fatal shots into Sgt. Rittmanic, Sgt. Rittmanic was pleading with them to just leave, “you don’t have to do this, please just go, please don’t please don’t.” She was desperately pleading for her life,’ Rowe said, according to court documents.
*** end quote ***
Here’s a case that hard for this anti-death penalty pro-life-er. When they are convicted, a life sentence without parole seems appropriate.
The only wiggle room for me is when a convict demonstrates that they are too dangerous to keep alive by, for example, God-forbid, killing a corrections officer.
I am disgusted at the barbaric criminals we have created.

Feds Finally Admit Secret DOJ “Commandos” at Jan. 6 Trump Protests With “Shoot To Kill” Mission
by Jeff Miller January 4, 2022
OPINION: This article contains commentary which may reflect the author’s opinion
*** begin quote ***
What many believe about January 6 has finally been revealed to be true. There were federal ‘commandos’ at the Capitol on that day, and before. The commandos had been granted “shoot to kill” authority, and the FBI was running the operation.
Many people question the federal government’s involvement on January 6th. How did Capitol security fail so spectacularly? Were there members of the FBI acting as agent provocateurs? Were agents inciting the crowd to break the law and enter the Capitol Building so that then-President Trump could be impeached for ‘insurrection’? Was there a shadowy government or deep state conspiracy against Trump? Some things we may never know, but now we do know that there were secret forces at and inside the Capitol Building on that day.

Germany’s Reaction To The Energy Crisis Could Be Catastrophic

These rising power prices in Europe are fueling inflation, and Trafigura has warned that Europe could experience rolling blackouts if this winter turns out to be a cold one. Meanwhile, natural gas flows from Russia are a big question mark, with tensions over Nord Stream 2 and Russia’s possible invasion of Ukraine exacerbating Europe’s power situation.

The article cites German switch from nuclear and gas to renewable electric with all new construction being required to use electric heat pumps.
Since every bad idea in Europe seems to flow to the USA, it would behoove folks to examine how they are going to stay warm in the coming DECADE. Even in non-SHTF planning, higher “energy” costs may mean that alternatives might be critical — in terms of budget, availability, or outages.
At the very least, some insulation and other energy saving investments might cost less now before “everyone wants them” and give a great ROI.

Artist Akasegawa Genpei took a strange inspiration from this: He defined a “Thomasson” as “an object, part of a building, that was maintained in good condition, but with no purpose, to the point of becoming a work of art.” For example, in Tokyo he’d noticed a well-maintained stairway with a blank wall at its top, and a ticket window that had been boarded up but whose tray had been assiduously permitted still to function.
Akasegawa’s colleague Chikuma Shobo eventually published a whole taxonomy of Thomassons: useless doorways, useless staircases, useless windows, doors to nowhere, senseless signs. Just like art, these items have no purpose in society, but they’re preserved with care, to the point that they seem to be exhibits in themselves. “However, these objects do not appear to have a creator, making them even more art-like than regular art.”

Amid waves of highly restrictive lockdowns and a proposed universal COVID-19 vaccine mandate to start February 1, tensions in Austria, where I live, are on the rise. But in late November, a new light of hope appeared on the horizon, just in time for Advent. Louis-Pierre Laroche, a wine merchant and father of eleven, issued a call to pray the rosary with others in public, for Austria. Exhausted from the political responses to COVID offering just ever-increasing restrictions, suffering economically, isolated by the lockdowns, frightened and dismayed by the prospect of a universal vaccine mandate, Laroche’s call is resonating with Austrians eager to join in.
Weekly, on Wednesday evenings since the end of November, all over Austria people have started to gather in public to pray the rosary together as part of the Austria Prays initiative. The call is simple while also profound: “Pray for Austria!” every Wednesday night, in public, as a flyer explains, “so that our country, that is currently in one of the most serious crises in its history, will be entrusted to the Mother of God, and to ask for her intercession for all citizens.”

Why Don’t People “Trust The Science?” Because Scientists Are Often Caught Lying
BY TYLER DURDEN

Authored by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.us
*** begin quote ***
There has been an unfortunate shift in Western educational practices in the past few decades away from what we used to call “critical thinking.” In fact, critical thinking was once a fundamental staple of US colleges and now it seems as though the concept doesn’t exist anymore; at least not in the way it used to. Instead, another brand of learning has arisen which promotes “right thinking”; a form of indoctrination which encourages and rewards a particular response from students that falls in line with ideology and not necessarily in line with reality.
*** and ***
Why don’t people trust the science and scientists anymore?
This is simple: Because many scientists have been caught lying and misrepresenting their data to fit the conclusions they want rather than the facts at hand. Science is often politicized to serve an agenda. This is not conspiracy theory, this is provable fact.

The Supreme Court today gave us a fantastic decision in a case where Gun Owners of America and its foundation (GOF) were involved!
*** begin quote ***
In Caniglia v. Strom, the Supreme Court today struck down an attempt by Rhode Island police to conduct warrantless searches for guns in a home using the so-called “community caretaking function.”
This made-up doctrine, which is a purported exception to the Fourth Amendment’s warrant requirement, permits police to engage in warrantless searches and seizures when they are carrying out any of their duties other than criminal law enforcement. For example, police may enter homes to help persons in need of emergency assistance, or may search a vehicle to recover the gun of an off-duty officer they had just arrested.
Erich Pratt, Senior Vice President of Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Gun Owners Foundation (GOF), stated:
“The Supreme Court today smacked down the hopes of gun grabbers across the nation. The Michael Bloombergs of the world would have loved to see the Supreme Court grant police the authority to confiscate firearms without a warrant. But the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the Fourth Amendment protections in the Bill of Rights protect gun owners from such invasions into their homes.”
According to GOA’s brief, after a husband and wife had an argument, the police entered their home without a warrant to search and seize the husband’s firearms based on the supposed “community caretaking” exception to the Fourth Amendment. The Rhode Island district court and the First Circuit plucked two words from a court-created doctrine in an effort to empower police to grab guns in homes whenever it seems to be a good idea.
Writing for a unanimous Court in a short opinion, Justice Thomas denied the application of the doctrine to justify the search, distinguishing between a rule that applied to an impounded car and “the right of a man to retreat into his own home and there be free from unreasonable governmental intrusion.”
Gun Owners of America and its foundation are continually bringing lawsuits across the country to defend firearm rights. GOA is unwavering in its defense of gun rights and remains the only “no compromise” gun lobby.
So GOA wishes to express its thanks to those members who assisted in this case

Boy, does Hunter Biden get a ton of breaks. The White House has basically given up on setting any ethical rules for the First Son, while the cultural elite rush to cover for his sleaze.
Last week, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to commit to “basic transparency” about Hunter’s divestment from an investment fund owned by a Chinese-state entity during a White House Press Briefing. She also refused to admit his infamous laptop is authentic.
“The president’s son is not an employee of the federal government, so I’d point you to his representatives,” Psaki snarked after being asked about the China connection. She used the same lame excuse back in February: “He’s a private citizen — I would point you to him or his lawyers on the outside on any update.”
And never mind that President Joe Biden pledged last December that no family member would have a conflict of interest in his administration: “My son, my family will not be involved in any business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be in conflict with where there’s appropriate distance from the presidency and government,” he told CNN.

Becky Hammon is an American who plays for the WNBA’s San Antonio Silver Stars. She’s also going to play in the Olympics in Beijing — but not for Team USA.
Instead, Hammon will play for Russia’s Olympic basketball team. Hammon has no Russian ancestry, but she has played professionally in Russia, and she became a Russian citizen to aid her basketball career. In the eyes of the International Olympic Committee, that’s good enough for her to play for Russia.
That doesn’t sit well with some in this country. During a CNN interview, Team USA women’s basketball coach Anne Donovan referred to Hammon as a “traitor.” Similar sentiments were expressed today on ESPN’s Outside the Lines.

WHO CARES!
It’s not like the Olympics means anything.
Except maybe to keep the illusion of ‘country’ going.

In December 1945, General Patton sustained life threatening injuries in a car crash near Mannheim, Germany. He died at the hospital in Heidelberg 12 days later on December 21. General Patton was 60 years-old. General Patton is buried in the American Military Cemetery of Hamm in Luxembourg, alongside the other soldiers of the 3rd Army in accordance with his desire “to be buried with his men”.
Considered one of the most successful Combat Generals in US history, George Patton was the first officer assigned to the Tank Corps in WWI. During WWII, he commanded the US Seventh Army in the Mediterranean Theater and the US Third Army in France and Germany after the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944. Lest We Forget.

No doubt he was anti-Russian and wanted to continue on from Berlin to Moscow.
Wonder that the “truth” is and who gave the order?
Ike?
