Pretty simple.

INFLATION!

The Federal Reserve Bank is going to enable the politicians and bureaucrats to inflate their way out of the debt.

Of course, those on fixed income, the poor, and anyone with savings in dollars will be totally screwed.

A silver round may make the difference between eating and not.

RANT: BHO44 on the View

As Beck says: “Makes blood come out of your eyes!”

Argh! cubed.

He talks about job creation, but ignores the uncertainty in taxes, regulation, healthcare, healthcare insurance, benefits, … … (why would anyone take on new obligation.

He conveniently ignores the end of year tax hike!

He ignores his promise of peace.

He talks about poll ratings and rightly says who cares.

He goes thru a litany of things he’s done.

We’ll see if it makes any difference.

He’s very telegenic and comes across as just one of the girls.

Unfortunately, he’s a politician and has trained in a “Jedi like” mind control.

Sorry, but I still see the guy who won’t release his papers, worshiped at Reverend Wright’s church, had a ghost written book advanced as his own, studied under the terrorist Saul Alinsky, and got his home mortgage from Tony Rezko.

How can you tell that a politician is lying?

When politicians pontificate and tells about their “struggles”! These are well-paid rich, often from wealthy families, who have never done an honest day’s work in their lives. And, they are going to tell us how they have had a “hard life”. Give me a break. I’d like to see lot less haughtiness and a lot more humility.

(1) This is sent to her on a closed web based email system. So why can’t I just reply to this message?

(2) How CAN it be sent to someone else in error?

(3) Why not just mention the drug and the doctor without making me hunt through their obtuse “portal” looking for it?

(4) Once an item is “voided”, it no longer is part of the “order”. (Argh!) And, “unfindable”.

Did ANYONE ask the Users of this pig what share of lipstick they wanted?

This is what is wrong with Obamacare, and insurance in general. If I was paying the bill, then I wouldn’t have to jump through hoops to make the system responsive to our needs. Right now, the LAST thing I need is more irritants.

Microchips for tracking our precious pets is becoming commonplace and serves to condition us to accept putting them in our children in the future. The FDA has already approved this technology for humans and is marketing it as a medical miracle, again for our safety.

Two points: Obama’s health care is going to depend upon electronic medical records to save money. And, those same EMRs are going to make care better.

If the current crop of “Health Vault” type offerings — Microsoft’s, Google, Caremark, or WallGreens — are any indication, then there is a long road before they will see and “savings”. The systems are inaccurate, lose data, and are not ready for Prime Time.

The interfaces are rudimentary at best. And bad data flows from system to system. The consumer facing data capture are kludges at best and not descigned form a Human Factors pov for the fast, accurate, and comprehensive data collection.

If used in the real world with real patients, they are going to cost: wealth, time, and eventually lives.

There has to be something “funny” — funny peculiar; not funny hah — at the bureaucrats calling out that fake coins might undermine confidence in their fiat currency. <Just shaking my head in disbelief> What is the intrinsic value of their “real” fiat coin. It’s worth what someone is willing to give you for it. If it’s a fake, it’s still worth what someone will give you for it. So this should point out that there is no difference between the “Real” and “Fake” ones. Isn’t that “funny”? Like the stories of countries printing high quality fake $100 bills. Who cares? There’s nothing to be “faked” out of. When coins were gold, or even silver, there was something of value that you could be “faked out” of. Now one slug is as good as another. No?

Videos of alleged police misconduct have become hot items on the Internet. YouTube still features Graber’s encounter along with numerous other witness videos. “The message is clearly, ‘Don’t criticize the police,'” said David Rocah, an attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland who is part of Graber’s defense team. “With these charges, anyone who would even think to record the police is now justifiably in fear that they will also be criminally charged.”

Isn’t this the beginnings of a police state, where the equivalent of the Gestapo, can work in secret to put the serfs in fear of their lives, freedom, or reputation. Or even those of their friends and families.

Sorry, but any supposedly “public servant” should be working in a crystal box. And, if “privacy” is required then some business process reengineering needs to be done to eliminate it.

The politicians and bureaucrats should always be on their best behavior and we should be able to video and audio record them to ensure it.

I really want to go to Manhattan college and I have the grades to get in…i think. But i need scholarships in order to pay for it because my family does not have much money. Well, first, my new found future alumni, we have to be sure we’re all talking about the same school. “Manhattan College”, the one in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, specifically sees the “poor” as its forte. First one to go to college, those who have “the smarts” (not NECESSARILY the great test takers), “the poor” (folks who don’t have a 7M$ New Zeeeland yacht, but are “rich” to most schools) are valued applicants. So you need to do some leg work.

Get all your numbers in order. How much do you have to go to school? (Don’t be discouraged if its zero. Just be totally honest). Then, figure out in your own mind (write it down) what your goals are (Be specific. Write them down. Use colored crayons if you have to.) For example, I want to give the poor of the world the first color tv that they can afford with unlimited ediucational access. Or, perhaps, I will build the first widget and secure my parent’s financial future. What’s your passion and how does MC fit into that goal. (Note, goal, not dream. You’re going to do it!) Write down all the things that you’ve done that make you an asset to MC as a student (i.e., pick up litter when I walk anywhere; help old people cross the street; write birthday cards to nursing home residents),

Then, it’s time for action. Make two appointments down at our Manhattan College. ONE The Dean of the School you want to go to and discover if there is “chemistry” between your goal and MC. TWO the nice ladies down at the Financial Aid office. (After having read EVERYTHING cited below about Financial Aid. Nothing to turn people off as when they have to repeat what’s on the website.) Let them show you how to pay for your education. (You might have to get a job while in school. How dedicated are you to your goal? Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

And, I hope I’m alive to report your first job in Jasper Jottings! (The daily achievement journal of my fellow Jaspers, the alumni of Manhattan College)

Yes, youngsters, a long long time ago gasoline came in “grades”.

The well groomed English speaking attendant would dial the grade you wanted to purchase. Could even advise you by reading — gasp — a chart to tell you what grade was best for your particular engine.

Yes, kiddies, cars still have engines in them.

And, the attendant would clean your windshield while waiting for your gas to stop pumping.

Then, he’d cheerful take your money and give you: your receipt, your plaid or green trading stamps, a free glass, and heart-felt thank you.

Yes, I know it’s not like that now! But it once was.

But don’t you see that the problem is the whole concept of “public education”? Do you buy shoes in one size fits all? Even more on point, do you let Anonymous pick your shoes and tell me to pay for them? Of course not. That’s silly, fjohn.

Isn’t it just a silly for you to entrust your legacy, your children, to be taught what Anonymous thinks is important and tell me I have to pay for it?

That’s why we fight over schools. They are immoral (e.g., teaching someone’s kids stuff they don’t agree with; stealing wealth form others to pay for it). They are ineffective (e.g., children “graduate” who are illiterate or worse). They are inefficient (e.g., they waste money in gobs; don’t deliver it where it’s needed; create cannon fodder factory workers to be led byt he elite).

Stop “public education”, charter schools, vouchers, and all that “barbara streisand”. Return the responsibility for education to the parents. They made the decision to have children, they are responsile; not me!
