SECESSION: When Your Vote Doesn’t Matter – Eric Peters

Sunday, November 8, 2020

What happens when the people of a state are disfranchised?

When they come to know that their vote doesn’t matter?

Is it equitable that a geographically and proportionately tiny part of a state dictates to the rest of the state?

By what right does a Beltway bureaucrat autocratically govern the lives of farmers who live hundreds of miles away?

The Coonman is the governor of Northern Virginia. He is loathed in most of Virginia. But the people of the rest of the state cannot vote him out of their lives because their votes don’t matter.

Northern Virginia decides the politics of Virginia.Do we not adhere to the idea of the consent of the governed? How can there be consent when there is no choice?

This is not about red vs. blue. It is about right vs. wrong. It is time for a parting of the ways.

Same in the Pepuls Republik of Nu Jerzee, the populous cities — mostly in North Jersey — dictate to South Jersey.

And it’s notorious for corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.

Time for local secession!

LIBERTARIAN: What Will It Take for Americans To Consider Breaking Up? – LewRockwell

Saturday, November 7, 2020

In Nation, State, and Economy Mises talks about a “liberal nationalism” and explains what a confident nation requires:A nation that believes in itself and its future, a nation that means to stress the sure feeling that its members are bound to one another not merely by accident of birth but also by the common possession of a culture that is valuable above all to each of them.

A good question to ask.

And, like the USSR, all large states must devolve into the their “organic” parts that share a common value set.

NEWJERSEY: New Jersey Sued Over Carry Laws – Bearing Arms – 2A lawsuit

Thursday, November 5, 2020

In the lawsuit, which can be read here, both Stanley Bennett and Michael Hucker lay out the steps that they took in order to try to get a carry license, including having to provide multiple character references who were willing to be interviewed by local police. That provision alone should be enough to get New Jersey’s law tossed as unconstitutional, in my opinion, but the suit details further infringements on the right to bear arms stemming from the state’s “justifiable need” requirement.

There is no “Second Amendment” in the Pepuls Republik of Nu Jerzee.

As well as a lot of other “rights” here.

Argh!

When will the “We, The Sheeple” revolt?

When they start loading the trains for the camps?

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? . . .” — Alexander Solzhenitsyn

LIBERTY: Mailchimp makes its censorship rules official, outlines right to ban users for “inaccurate” content

At least Mailchimp, a US email and marketing automation service – doesn’t even try to pretend there is some objective, consensus-based way in determining what’s false and what’s true. Instead, they’re saying what many others in the tech industry are thinking and doing: “misinformation” is simply what we decide it is, because we can.

Bonuses before bankruptcy: Companies doled out millions to executives before filing for Chapter 11

Bonuses before bankruptcy: Companies doled out millions to executives before filing for Chapter 11The coronavirus recession tipped dozens of troubled companies into bankruptcy, setting off a rush of store closures, furloughs and layoffs. But several major brands, including Hertz Global, J.C. Penney and Neiman Marcus, doled out millions in executive bonuses just before filing for Chapter 11 protection, according to a Washington Post analysis of regulatory filings and court documents.

I’ve addressed this “problem” before.

https://reinkefaceslife.com/2010/03/22/political-reigning-in-corporate-salaries-a-modest-proposal/

Since “corporations” are a Gooferment “creation”, the Gooferment can make the ROE (rules of engagement) for them.

Soooooo, turn the IRS loose on the “corporations”.

No corporation can pay an annual salary more than the President. (It’s unseemly and crude!)

And, corporations should be able to pay ANYTHING in the form of “tiered” of equal amounts over 25 years.

My reasoning is that we want to “encourage” long term thinking.

Having seen the GM “bankruptcy” where everyone made out well EXCEPT the taxpayers and the bondholders, we need to “fix” this.

By making the Board of Directors and “executives” compensated in 25 year bonds, the entire set of incentives and motivations will be changed radically!

Sigh!

The country that introduced the world to “hygge” now has another term for us: “samfundssind.”

Last year Americans went wild for hygge, which encompasses all things cozy and comforting — but the likely 2020 “word of the year” in Denmark is “samfundssind — which the Danish Language Council defines as “putting the concern of society higher than one’s own interests.” More loosely translated as “community spirit” or “social mindedness” according to the BBC.

POLITICAL: In New Biden Ad, Michigan Millionaire Claims Trump Is Killing His Nightclub

Tuesday, October 20, 2020

But it’s even more dishonest than I thought. With Biden, it usually is. Collin Anderson, Washington Free Beacon:

The struggling Michigan bar owner at the center of a Joe Biden campaign ad is actually a wealthy tech investor whose startup was seeded by a large family inheritance.

The ad, which the Biden campaign released Thursday, identifies Michigan entrepreneur Joe Malcoun as co-owner of the Blind Pig, a bar and live music venue in Ann Arbor, Mich…According to a 2018 interview with local NBC affiliate Click on Detroit, Malcoun became a well-known “angel investor” in local tech startups after receiving a large inheritance from his wife’s late grandfather roughly a decade ago. He described the inheritance as “almost like winning the lottery…

”Malcoun has also repeatedly praised Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer’s (D.) coronavirus response, saying she “is doing it right” in an April tweet.

INNOVATION: The Tunnel of Eupalinos – Futility Closet

Tuesday, October 20, 2020

When the Greek engineer Eupalinos contrived a tunnel in the 6th century B.C. to carry water through Mount Kastro to Samos, he started digging simultaneously from the north and south, hoping that the two tunnels would meet in the heart of the mountain. He arranged this through some timely doglegs: When the two teams could hear one another (meaning they were about 12 meters apart), each deviated from its course in both the horizontal (left) and vertical (right) planes:

TECHNOLOGY: Google cleaning out the app’s inventory — RIP Trusted Contact

Saturday, October 17, 2020

Over three years ago, we launched the Trusted Contacts app as a way to help people stay up to date with their loved ones’ whereabouts. Since then, we’ve built this functionality directly into Google Maps with Location Sharing – making it even easier to share your live location with trusted friends and family.

As a result, the Trusted Contacts app will be removed from the App Store and Play Store today, and will stop being supported after December 1, 2020. If the app is installed on your device, you can continue to use it until then.

If you have created trusted contacts, you can download them from the trusted contacts page until December 1, 2020. After that date, the Trusted Contact app will no longer work and your trusted contacts will be unable to see the live location you are sharing with them from the app.

To learn more about Location Sharing in Google Maps, check out our help center.

POLITICAL: Why Are Chicago Prosecutors Undercharging Accused Violent Criminals?

Friday, October 16, 2020

The website CWB Chicago recently reported on the case of 33-year old Marshal Delvalle, a four time felon who was recently arrested in connection with a string of reported robberies in the city earlier this month.

Yet, even though one of the incidents was allegedly captured on video, they did not charge Marshal Delvalle with attempted murder, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm, or even being a felon in possession of a firearm. But they did charge him with robbery.

Delvalle, 33, is accused of robbing four people in two incidents that police this month said was part of a pattern that involved nine similar cases in the area.

At 8:55 a.m. on Friday, October 2, an offender wielded a baseball bat as he tried to rob a 49-year-old man outside the victim’s home on the 7000 block of North Rockwell. When the men began struggling, the victim’s wife appeared, and Delvalle got out of a nearby tan Mercury Marquis with a gun, Assistant State’s Attorney Jocelyn Schieve said.

Delvalle allegedly pointed the gun at the woman and demanded her purse. He then shot at the husband as the man ran from the scene and fired on a witness who stepped out to see what was going on, Schieve said. The witness was shot in the foot.

TINFOILHAT: The Fake Coronavirus ???

Tuesday, October 13, 2020

*** begin quote ***

NOTE: Readers have sent me electron microscope images of what are claimed to be “isolated COVID virus.” An image here, an image there—this is NOT the way science is done, as I will explain fully in this article. I have also been sent a CDC document that claims the COVID virus has been isolated.

I have also been sent a CDC document that claims the COVID virus has been isolated. However, that document is dated two months earlier than the CDC document that admits they do not have the virus. So it means nothing.

Last week, I wrote and published two articles (here and here) exposing the root of the poisonous tree: the CDC admits it does not have an isolated COVID virus.

Therefore, SARS-CoV-2, the pandemic virus, has never been proved to exist.

This shattering fact reveals the whole pandemic is a fraud. The virus, the test, the case numbers—all fraud. And the lockdowns were unnecessary and criminal.
