GOVEROTRAGEOUS: Count “deaths”; not “cases”

Friday, July 10, 2020

The Cases! Oh, my! https://buff.ly/3f6uhbK “Why isn’t the Orange Man being as aggressive in combatting the lies about #WuFlu as he was about the lies regarding his being Putin’s poodle?” Cases can be fudged; deaths can’t be. If the number of deaths is declining, why do we care about “cases”. If we measure by “deaths”, then financial incentives to fudge the numbers (i.e., every thin becomes a “case” no matter how remotely related or not)!

Important Quotes from Virology and Vaccinology Experts that Never are Interviewed on the Mainstream Media
By Gary G. Kohls, MD
July 6, 2020

*** begin quote ***

“Safety testing, which typically requires months and years for other medical products, often lasts only a few days with vaccines – not nearly long enough to spot cancers or chronic conditions like autoimmune diseass (e.g. juvenile diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis), allergic illnesses (e.g. food allergies, allergic rhinitis, eczema, asthma), or neurological and neurodevelopmental injuries (e.g. ADD, ADHD, narcolepsy, epilepsy, seizure disorders, and autism). Vaccine manufacturer’s vaccine inserts that accompany every vial of mandated vaccines include warnings about these and over 400 other injuries including many serious immune, neurological, and chronic illnesses for which FDA suspects that vaccines may be the cause.” – Robert F. Kennedy, Jr

*** and ***

“Fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. The CDC’s entire vaccination propaganda campaign rests on their claim that side effects from vaccination are exceedingly rare, but according to the blatantly pro-over-vaccination, and Big Pharma-funded CDC, in 2016 alone, VAERS received 59,117 vaccine adverse event reports. Among those reports were 432 vaccine-related deaths, 1,091 permanent vaccine-related disabilities, 4,132 vaccine-related hospitalizations, and 10,274 vaccine-related emergency room visits. What if these numbers actually represent less than 1% of the total as this report asserts? You multiply those numbers by 100.” – William Christenson

*** end quote ***

I’ve ranted about the VAERS and the billions it has paid out before.

I am personally very suspicious.  Not an anti-VAX-er, but close.

FUN: 151 Photos Of Animals Having A Worse Day Than You

Wednesday, July 8, 2020

There are days when it feels like the world is going against you. You’re late for work, and the keys have just fallen into the drain hole. But day-breaking fails have been well documented in the history of humankind, and there’s a silent agreement not to talk about ‘em too much.

POLITICAL: Why The Left-Wing Seems Insane (Mostly Because They Are), by L. Neil Smith

Tuesday, July 7, 2020

If the human species is to survive the present century, if Western Civilization is to survive, this irrational tendency must be treated as the mental disease it is and wiped out. I am nobody’s Republican, but it is absolutely essential that Republicans retain the Senate and the White House this Fall and take back the House of Representatives. Republicans, for the most part, are cowardly and stupid—the timorous and brain-dead attitude of Sean Hannity and Judge Jeanine Pirro toward private gun ownership and individual self-defense is an extremely sad example—but at least they are not completely insane.

Why do we have to do to wake up “We, The Sheeple”?

Can’t they see that the loonies are in charge or the asylum?

GUNS: THE RIGHT TO BUY WEAPONS IS THE RIGHT TO BE FREE

Monday, July 6, 2020

Having not read The Weapon Shops of Isher in some years and unable to find my old paperback copy I ordered a replacement from Amazon. So there it was, on the first page, in the prologue:

THE RIGHT TO BUY WEAPONS IS THE RIGHT TO BE FREE

People have understood this for generations, it took a lot of efforts (yes, I put that plural on purpose) by anti-immigrant bigots, people seeking favor with protection racketeers, racists, fascists, and fake liberals to reach the current level of hostility to the right to bear arms our so-called betters keep trying to keep stirred up

Seems absolutely correct to me!

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? . . .” — Alexander Solzhenitsyn

POLITICAL: Is Biden mentally competent?

Sunday, July 5, 2020

The Strategies Of Dementia Politics
Tyler Durden Sat, 07/04/2020 – 17:00
Authored by Victor Davis Hanson via National Review,

Stoke chaos, obstruct economic recovery, and hide Biden in the basement till Election Day… Joe Biden is tragically suffering a mental eclipse and sliding away at a geometric rate.

*** begin quote ***

The progressive media have put Biden’s blank stares and word searching off limits. We are not supposed to remember that Trump was hounded by progressive M.D.s, to the point that he took — and aced — the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test, an examination that no one in his right mind would suggest Biden now take, given that the results would be no surprise.

Seems like an important question to answer NOW!

BIGOTRY: Catholics Attacked by BLM at Prayer Event at Statue of St. Louis

Saturday, July 4, 2020

On Saturday a Catholic prayer event in front of the St. Louis statue in Missouri was interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters. Violence broke out at the event as Black Lives Matter members attacked participants of the prayer event.

This is inexcusable in the USA.

The Gooferment politicians and bureaucrats are incapable of protecting peaceful people at prayer.

I think he is correct about that!

That doesn’t make me “fan”.

But in the upcoming election — barring some “October Surprise”, I don’t see how anyone can NOT pick the lesser of two evils.

Sigh.

How about ranked choice voting?

While I’m wishing: term limits for politicians and bureaucrats!

Argh!

How Students Built a 16th-Century Engineer’s Book-Reading Machine – Atlas Obscura

Friday, July 3, 2020

“Some scholars say it’s the beginning of the idea of hypertext, the idea that a reader can sit in one spot and have access to multiple texts at once.” (That concept is all too familiar today, in the age of hyperlinks, search engines, and browser tabs.)

Thursday, July 2, 2020

Ever been mistaken for an employee? If you have, it’s fine, everyone has. If you haven’t, it’s okay—nobody likes to accept it. But there’s a safe space to talk about hard things and it’s a subreddit called r/IDontWorkHereLady . It turns out, people assuming you’re a staff member is a thing.

TINFOILHAT: Where did the bricks come from?

Thursday, July 2, 2020

Those mysterious pallets of bricks appearing at riot central in every Democrat controlled city in America didn’t deliver themselves. Whatever peaceful intent some protestors may have had was hijacked by centrally coordinated organizations hell bent on destroying the moral and ethical foundations of our country.

TINFOILHAT: But “conspiracy theories” are NOT always misinformation, remember who coined the term

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

*** begin quote ***

It’s no secret that platforms like YouTube and Reddit have long been breeding grounds for conspiracy theories and misinformation. Whether intentional or not, algorithms have led millions of ordinary people down the rabbit hole into these communities.

*** end quote ***

Sorry, but “Conspiracy Theories” are not alway from the tin foil hat brigade.

Some times, most time, they are legitimate questions!

EVLYNN: The Value of Sadness | Psychology Today

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

Sadness is often mistakenly confused with depression. Unlike depression, sadness is a natural part of life and is usually connected with certain experiences of pain or loss or even a meaningful moment of connection or joy that makes us value our lives. Depression, on the other hand, can arise without a clear explanation or can result from an unhealthy, non-adaptive reaction to a painful event, where we either steel ourselves against our natural reaction to the event or get overwhelmed by it.

What can one do?

“My love, were it in my power, I would sadly grant thee this boon. But, we have to continue to follow His Plan for us. Let’s go forth and speak no more of this. Who ever is last will be last. It will be His choice; not ours. We’re but humble custodians of His temple on earth. It’s not our place to trump His plan. Whatever that plan be, know that I will be with you to my last breath.” — character “John” in CHURCH 10●19●62 Volume 2 Page 399

Tearfully putting one foot in front of the other.
