Judge Nap: American People Need to Know Obama’s Role in Bergdahl Prisoner Swap

*** begin quote ***

Bergdahl was captured and held by the Taliban after leaving his remote post in Afghanistan in 2009.

After five years, the Taliban released Bergdahl in a prisoner swap for five detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

His punishment will be decided by a judge at a hearing starting October 23.

Judge Andrew Napolitano said he’s “furious” that this isn’t going to trial, because there are so many aspects about this case that the American people have the right to know about.

Six good men dead. Five terrorists released. And “We, The Sheeple” will never get the truth.

Why did BHO44 and Susan Rice praise him? Is he crazy?

Is the fix in to sweep this all under the proverbial rug?

CLOUD: Revolar goes toes up

Thursday, October 26, 2017

To Whom It May Concern:

We are contacting you to notify you that Revolar, Inc (“Revolar”), has made an assignment for the benefit of creditors (“Assignment”) as of September 25, 2017 (“Assignment Date”) and appointed an Assignee.

“Proof of Claim” notices are a required formality of the assignment process

Under Delaware law, the Assignee is required to send a notice regarding the assignment. This notice must be distributed within a timely manner of the start of the assignment and is intended to determine monies owed by Revolar. The Assignee is also required to provide a mechanism through which any party who may potentially have a claim against Revolar can file a claim. That mechanism is known as a “Proof of Claim” process, and Revolar claims can be filed on the website provided below.

Why you were sent a Proof of Claim

A Proof of Claim is available to all parties who have interacted with Revolar during the last couple of years to ensure that if they believe they have a claim, it is accounted for. It is not confirmation that you necessarily have a claim.

Proof of Claims are exactly what they sound like. If you believe Revolar owed you money prior to the Assignment Date and has not paid you, you’ll need to fill out the Proof of Claim form and return it according to the instructions found on the form, before March 24, 2018. The language on the claim form is formal and legalistic, but it is a necessary part of the process as we work to resolve the situation and outstanding debts.

Should you have any questions about the Proof of Claim form, you may contact the Assignee at:

LIBERTY: Is it time to reject this faux leftist “liberalism” doctrine?

Thursday, October 26, 2017

2017-Oct-26

Is Liberalism a Dying Faith?
By Patrick J. Buchanan October 21, 2017

*** begin quote ***

On Oct. 7, scores of thousands of Poles lined up along the country’s entire 2,000-mile border — to pray the rosary.

It was the centennial of the Virgin Mary’s last apparition at Fatima in Portugal in 1917, and the day in 1571 the Holy League sank the Muslim fleet at Lepanto to save Europe. G. K. Chesterton’s poem, “Lepanto,” was once required reading in Catholic schools.

Each of these traditionalist-nationalist movements is unique, but all have a common cause. In the hearts of Europe’s indigenous peoples is embedded an ancient fear: loss of the homeland to Islamic invaders.

Europe is rejecting, resisting, recoiling from “diversity,” the multiracial, multicultural, multiethnic and multilingual future that, say U.S. elites, is America’s preordained mission to bring about for all mankind.

*** end quote ***

Clearly I think it’s been overdue for rejection of this “nation building” “barbara streisand”!

The USA is not the “world’s policeman” and the “piggy bank” for social engineering.

“We, The Sheeple” should be insisting on dumping the UN as a failed institution (e.g., what countries are on the Human Rights committee; how much corruption do we know about; who needs NYC traffic jams).

The USA has become the “dumping ground” for all the criminals and grifters who come here to suck off the system.

I continue to urge that we end: “welfare” for everyone, the “(pseudo) War on (some) Drugs”, and the foreign “wars” that serve NO strategic interest.

Argh!

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: The warfare state is impoverishing us all

Ron Paul Rages At The Decades Of Wars’ Damage To The American Economy
By Tyler Durden Zero Hedge October 21, 2017

*** begin quote ***

“Just think if all the money we have spent overseas since World War II ended, if that money had been left in this country to let wealth grow,” proposes Paul.

Had that happened, Paul says there would not be so many people using food stamps, the middle class would not be dwindling, and the jobs situation would be better in America.

While the American economy in general has been hurt by the wars, Paul notes that some Americans have benefited financially. Paul concludes,

“It’s insanity to think that war improves your economic condition; it improves the condition of the war manufacturers.”

*** end quote ***

Time to “repurpose” the Department of DEFENSE?

With all these “wars” that go on forever, “We, The Sheeple” need to stop these politicians and bureaucrats in their tracks.

Personally, I blame Congress. They don’t want to take any responsibility for their actions. “The devil made me do it” is really the campaign contributions make me the corrupt venial fool that I am.

“Campaign Finance Reform” has to start with “Free Speech”.

But, shouldn’t a politician be limited to raising funds within their own constituents?

And, corporations, as artificial creations of the Gooferment, shouldn’t have “free speech”?

Argh!

“WE” have to stop the warfare state.

WSJ: Survival comes from pre-planning

FROM BEHIND THE WSJ PAYWALL

QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Why are we the only ones going this direction? Are we digging our own grave?”

Eli Monroe, 34, on choosing a route to escape the deadliest wildfires in California history. We chronicle how the fires, which have left more than 40 people dead, have forced thousands to make similar, split-second decisions. Officials said Sunday that easing winds would help firefighters.

# – # – # – # – #

One thing that “preppers”, survivalists, and plain old “industrial strength” corporate Disaster Recovery (DR) planners do is: (1) itemize the risks that you might face in the future; (2) weigh relative probability of all the possible “disasters”; and (3) continually develop, test, and update plans for when those “disasters” happen.

Strategies — for example: shift to an alternative location, mitigate the risks, create alternatives — are just unique approaches in response to a “viewpoint” to a particular risk. Interesting is that a single strategy can mitigate multiple risks.

Tactics — for example: having a “bug out” bag ready, having a “get out of Dodge” kit in your car trunk, having a “cache” at a secondary location — are all slight variations of the same thing. AND, once again, they can service several alternatives at the same time.

One mistake that CEOs, CFOs, Board of Directors, and IT leadership make is that the don’t test realistically and completely are “blind” to the “ground truth” that their EXPENSIVE DR plans are worthless. And they don’t want to hear it.

Don’t you make their mistake!

(b) I like how it makes the Gooferment politician so venial.

(d) It shows how people can be empowered to act on their own.

GUNS: Why don’t women voters pick this up

Americans should be proud to love firearms . . . and freedom

*** begin quote ***

Only one sport in that fledgling “Time, Inc.” product of 60 years ago merited THREE MAJOR FEATURES: A feature with color photos on American skeet team captain (and Cuban native) Carola Mandel; a second feature on 13-year-old trapshooter Johnny Lilly winning the under-21 Grand American Handicap Tournament in Vandalia, Ohio (thousands attended); and a major flashback piece to the Great Rifle Match of 1874 between the U.S. and Ireland, shot at ranges out to 1,000 yards, and won — after they ran neck-and-neck all day — on the last shot.

*** and ***

I used to ride around my suburban Connecticut home town on my bicycle in the 1960s, carrying my .22-caliber rifle; no one ever worried young Vinnie was out to commit mayhem. When I went away to boarding school in Massachusetts -– Massachusetts! -– at the age of 12, I took my rimfire rifle. We practiced on an indoor range in the basement of the gym. I’ve lived in many parts of the country since then; many an old-timer has confided that the local high school, if built before 1970, has a target range in the basement, though they’re locked up and never spoken of, today.

What they favor is “Victim Disarmament.”

She had pepper spray with her when she was attacked on Florida State University’s campus in 2014, the victim testified. But the spray did not stop the attacker.

Citing 4Jax, Breitbart News reported on Aug. 6 that college campus rape survivor Shayna Lopez-Rivas testified: “He had a knife. I had pepper spray. And even though I ran for blue lights that are scattered all around, (he was) faster, stronger, and I did not win.”

She said she now carries a gun and the next attacker will not find her to be easy prey. Ms. Lopez-Rivas testified that if she had had her gun with her in 2014 she could have stopped that attacker in his tracks.

She said “The way that I carry it now, I would have been able to prevent what happened to me.”

Lopez-Rivas was asking Florida legislators to pass campus carry so women with concealed carry permits can carry their guns on campus for self-defense.

I search in vain in the work product of Leah Libresco and her outfit for a single word about the BENEFITS of private firearms ownership. And we haven’t even gotten to Maryann Watkins’ account of what the would-be rapist with the coil of rope around his arm said after he approached her in the deserted Arizona highway rest stop, declaring “I’m gonna have some REEEEEEAL fun now!!”

Producing her Ruger from her fanny-pack and centering its sights on his chest, she responded: “If you want to play, we’ll play with this.”

“Bitches with guns,” he complained, over and over again, as she backed to her car and drove away. “Bitches with guns.”

“Victim disarmament is the view that it is somehow better to see a woman raped in an alley and strangled with her own pantyhose, than see her with a gun in her hand.” — T.D. Melrose

I’d like all the women in my life to be able to defend themselves.

Unfortunately, in the Pepuls Republik of Nu Jerzee, that’s not “permitted”.

Why don’t women voters pick this up as a wedge issue?

Think Harvey W would be threatening, fondling, or raping young women if they could even the battlefield?

INDEXCARDNOVEL: Another government program goes awry

Saturday, October 21, 2017

“Now see here, Eleven, all you have to do is follow my orders.”

“Yes, sir!” You pompous ass. Of course, I didn’t say that. After all I was only breveted to him for this assignment, then I could get back to counting lab rats, vials of distilled water, or whatever beans they needed counted.

We were signed into the secure facility and escorted to the observation area. I was curious and observant. A lot of red buttons in the observation area and in the observed are. No obvious exits from the observed area and only one entrance / exit from the observation area. Made me wonder who was the lab rat.

“Hi, I’m Kelly. Your narrator for this demonstration”, said a pretty young thing with a big smile. She had the obligatory photo id with lots of colors and letters along the bottom. “This is a demonstration of our new genetically engineered platypus. Its purpose is to infest enemy sewers and explode when needed. Needless to say everything you see here, stays here. Top Secret and all the mumbo jumbo. But then you know all that.” I thought she was very glib. Probably from repetition.

“You’ll see the tank on the other side of me with tubes and connections. For the purposes of this demo, we’re using clear water, but, in the real world, it would be sludge or human waste. Since our platypuses are blind, they are in the designed element. Observe!”

Then in the observed room, something opened and about a dozen “things” shot out and dispersed into the various tubes, tanks, connections. One tank was illuminated in red.

Kelly continued: “The red tank is the bathroom of the target. Let’s say the President of Lower Slobovia. By electronic waves, the brain of the next animal is given the target and released.” Another think opened and out shot a slightly different color animal. “The targeting changes the animals color and everyone he contacts.” Sure enough, every time those creatures bumped into one another, they assumed the new color.

Almost at random, these things ferreted out the different paths. “We change the maze for every demonstration.” Finally, one reached the red target and popped. All the creatures returned to their original color.

Then, from the popped creature, a smaller different thing emerged. It was black and had razor teeth as it chewed the carcass. When done, it moved at amazing speed. It attacked every creature it saw making short work of them. Then from the carcass of an early kill, another emerged.

I could see from the expression on Kelly’s face that this was NOT part of the show. My survival instincts kicked in and I headed for the exit. As I passed thru the door, I looked back. The tank had exploded from all these creatures multiplying. Kelly’s leg was being gnawed and she was hitting one of the many red buttons. She was yelling: “Lock it down.”

Like a guillotine, the door knifed shut as the alarms sounded. I quickly walked out the compound’s exit and back to the car. The guard towers wailed and those gates locked.

I got into the car and drove away. Never looked back and headed for the airport. I wanted to get back to bean counting where the beans didn’t eat you.

Haven’t labor unions improved the standard of living of American workers? Why, wouldn’t we not even have the weekend without them? My father belonged to the Teamsters, so I have a natural inclination to side with unions, but the facts won’t let me, and in this episode I explain why.

Tom Woods puts the Gooferment laws squarely in the crosshairs for deliberately misstating the truth.

Labor Unions didn’t cause the progress in living standard.

Obviously, the increase in wealth was due to the increase in productivity and the benefits of the modern division of labor.

Very worth a listen to disprove “facts” assumed to be truth.

GOVERNACIDE: Afghanistan war has failed spectacularly

Carlson: It’s time to end America’s longest war
By Brock Carlson on Oct 10, 2017 at 11:35 a.m.

*** begin quote ***

On Oct. 16, 2001, Operation Enduring Freedom, the invasion of Afghanistan, was launched by the U.S. government in response to the 9/11 attacks. Now, 16 years later, that war continues under a new name, with its third commander-in-chief, new generals, and is being fought by soldiers who were toddlers when it started.

The war has cost an estimated $2.7 trillion dollars, 2,403 US soldiers killed in action, over 1,000 coalition soldiers killed, over 20,000 US soldiers wounded, who knows how many suicides, and over 149,000 Afghans killed, who are people too after all.

The time has long passed for politicians and generals to stop the talk of “national security” and admit that our nation’s longest war has failed. Not only has it failed, but it has failed spectacularly.

*** end quote ***

Why can’t we just declare victory and bring all the girls and boys home now!

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” — attributed to Einstein

I don’t care (really) about the money. After all, it’s a “sunk cost” and business school teaches that you should ignore it when making a decision about the future.

I do care about the human toll — vets, their families, the country’s moral fiber, and all the collateral damage.

The bulk of its budget, some $126 billion, is required by law to be wasted on welfare, farm subsidies, and such, but for the $25 billion remainder, the department has some discretion as to how it would like to waste the money on welfare and farm subsidies. There are massive programs for wasting the money indiscriminately, but also grant programs to spend the money in a targeted pointless way. An Austin gardener wants $100,000 to sell his hippie neighbors on the merits of organic produce? This is the place to fund that.*

Amazon Breaks Up With FTL!

Amazon apparently didn’t like us telling you that shopping through the links at shop.freetalklive.com helped Free Talk Live, so last week they dumped us. Seems like a pretty lame excuse to end an agreement that had lasted for more than a decade, but that’s what happened! (To be clear, we’ve only been dumped by Amazon US. The affiliate links for the UK and Canada Amazons are still working.)

If you want to do online shopping with Free Talk Live, go ahead and bookmark our Walmart link: walmart.freetalklive.com

Also, you can still use cryptocurrency like bitcoin to get deep discounts on everything you buy at Amazon and a small part of your purchases at SaveatPurse.com do benefit FTL.

So, even without Amazon US, there are still plenty of ways for you to buy and benefit Free Talk Live. Thanks for helping us while helping yourself to the stuff you need and want!

Also, thanks for listening to Free Talk Live,

ECONOMICS: Seems like cost-savings will sweep the land of truck drivers?

Sunday, October 15, 2017

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/oct/10/american-trucker-automation-jobs

End of the road

*** begin quote ***

“Labor accounts for 75% of the cost of transporting shipments by truck, so adopters can begin to realize those savings. Beyond that, while truckers are prohibited from driving more than 11 hours per day without taking an eight-hour break, a driverless truck can drive for the entire day. This effectively doubles the output of the trucking network at a quarter of the cost. That’s an eight-times increase in productivity, without taking into account other benefits gained by automation,” he says.

*** end quote ***

Clearly, that efficiency will lower the prices of goods and services.

The human cost to individuals will be catastrophic.

As Jason Stapleton keeps saying: “You must invest in your own human capital.”

The job you have today may not exist in a decade; adapt or die.

And, politicians and bureaucrats or “unions” can’t stop the “eight times increase in productivity”.

HEALTH: Dementia is NOW an Epidemic

Tuesday, October 10, 2017

2017-Oct-10

Dementia and Alzheimer’s is Now an Epidemic in America
Posted on Sep 25, 2017, 4 p.m.

*** begin quote ***

  • One in 8 over 65 years old in the USA has Alzheimer’s
  • In 2014, an estimated 5.2 million in the USA have Alzheimer’s
  • Women are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s than men
  • 1 in 6 Women will develop Alzheimer’s
  • Just 5 years ago in 2012 the United States alone spent $200 Billion with Medicare, Medicaid and Out of Pocket Expense for Alzheimer’s and other Dementia care not including Private Health Insurance. This number is projected to go to $1 Trillion.
  • Alzheimer’s can start as early as the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s.

*** and ***

“Remember this if you still can, as most of the population starts to age we have to be prepared for what is rapidly going to be one of our biggest healthcare problems, if not the biggest healthcare problem, Dementia in all its forms. We have to start trying as many preventative measures as possible to curb or try and cure all forms of dementia before they take hold. We now know that 1/3 of our aging population will die with a form of Dementia and 1/6 of all woman will die with the most commonly known form of Dementia —Alzheimer’s,” stated Dr. Ronald Klatz, President of the A4M, Sept. 25, 2017.

“We all know healthcare isn’t perfect. If we don’t start addressing Dementia now, which is now a United States epidemic, caring for those“We all know healthcare isn’t perfect. If we don’t start addressing Dementia now, which is now a United States epidemic, caring for those effected with Dementia will soon become the single biggest cost of our healthcare system and become an unimaginable burden on the family, and loved ones that have to take care of the afflicted. We will all suffer along with our parents, our older brothers, sisters, colleagues, and friends as their minds decay. This is a problem bigger than Aids of the 80’s and just as serious as Cancer, and Diabetes. As over 10,000 people a day, projected to go to 15,000 people a day, turn 65 in the United States, Dementia will soon be the #1 Health Risk, age related or not. Dementia is quickly the disease that will affect everyone in America, directly or indirectly. It’s an Epidemic we really need to look at stronger, harder, and take as many preventative medicine type measures to try and halt, cure, or eradicate the Age  Disease. Dementia is not just affecting a segment of the US population. It is attacking Seniors the fasted growing segment of the American population at alarming rates,” added Dr. Ronald Klatz.

This has to be addressed by all the politicians and bureaucrats who are “redesigning” the America “health”, “health care”, “health care insurance”, or something else as yet to be identified.

Personally, I am very concerned about this. My family is “crazy” and maybe that inoculates me from the “disease”?

I do follow a doctor who advocates for a plant based diet as a preventative to all sorts of diseases and health malfunctions. One of them is Alzheimer’s.

Well, the incidence of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease is “significantly lower” for Africans in Nigeria “than for African Americans…in Indianapolis,” for example—up to five times lower.

Alzheimer’s rates for Japanese-Americans living in the U.S. are closer to that of Americans than to Japanese. So, “when people of one ethnic group move…from their homeland to the United States,…Alzheimer’s rates [can increase] dramatically.”

“Therefore, when Africans or [Asians] live in the [U.S.] and adopt a Western diet, their [increase in] Alzheimer’s [risk suggests] that [it’s] not the genetics.”

It’s hard for me to go vegan. I’ve been non-vegan for SEVEN decades. I am too lazy to exercise and diet. But I am making some “some” progress on these fronts.

BUT, (and there is always a BIG butt), articles like “re-motivates” me.

How about you?

WSJ: Is Weinstein’s movie flops the reason his conduct now becomes public?

Monday, October 9, 2017

FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL “The 10-Point”

Grossed Out

The Weinstein Co. board of directors fired co-chairman Harvey Weinstein from the independent movie and television studio on Sunday, citing allegations of sexual misconduct. In multiple conversations over the past few days, board members expressed fury not just about revelations of Mr. Weinstein’s financial settlements with women who accused him of sexual harassment, but also the high-profile producer’s public attempts to defend himself. The allegations have cast doubt on film and television projects in the company’s pipeline, and left Hollywood wondering about its future. Several top Democrats have sought to distance themselves from Mr. Weinstein, including by making charitable donations to offset his past political contributions to them. And much of Hollywood—rarely shy on matters of women’s empowerment—has been conspicuously silent about Mr. Weinstein’s apparent behavior.

And I am sure that his “losing streak” profitable movie-wise, has nothing to do with the unacceptability of his alleged conduct?

Hollywood “celebrities” are two faced idiots, who have equated their success with “expertise” in all manner of topics, and “We, The Sheeple” listen to their “barbara streisand”.

Argh!

Not So Merry Men

Calling it a “fine” doesn’t legitimate the taking-by-force of someone’s money who has not damaged anyone, for the benefit of the government – which is precisely what a tax is

*** and ***

These 4.2 million have become outlaws as a result of not having ponied up. Which triggers escalation by the “sheriff” – who revokes their “privilege” to drive. Very much in the way Robin and his men were forbidden to hunt the King’s deer in Sherwood Forest.

Sorry but the “motor vehicle laws” needs a lot of revisions!

Most need imho is that a license can not be suspended without notice by certified mail return receipt requested and a court hearing that allows the “defendant” to be heard BEFORE they are penalized.

Argh!

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: Gooferment Skrules and the First Amendment

India Landry, 17, says she was send home from Windfern High School on Monday after refusing to stand for the pledge, event though she has sat through it hundreds of times previously.

Sorry, for as wrong as I think the MP4B = “Millionaires Playing For Billionaires” are, this girl ABSOLUTELY has a Constitutional right to freedom of speech.

I may have a different opinion, but that is her right.

The Gooferment Skrules are just that — part of the Gooferment. As such they have no power to discipline her for that.

And, by the way, isn’t this what we criticized the Communists for doing in the 1950’s?

Maybe “We, The Sheeple” will recognize that Gooferment Skrules are merely Gooferment Reeducation Camps in disguise.

Argh!
