SECURITY: An “anonymous” school survey … …
… … was sent out. My wife trashed it. TWICE! Finally on the THIRD reminder, she filled it out so they would leave her alone.
My question is: “if it’s allegedly “anonymous”, then how do they know to send her a “reminder”?
Way back when I was working at AT&T, they send out “anonymous” questionnaires. AND, I would caution all my “hot head” subordinates, that NOTHING is ever truly “anonymous”.
I’m sure that I was just a cranky young (at that time) Conspiracy Theorist, until one by one, the “hot heads” were called to HR and terminated. No reason given. The Pepuls Republik of Nu Jerzee was an “at will state”, so all they could do was file for unemplyment and were forever blocked from reemployment at a Bell System company.
After that, I have ALWAYS been suspect of anything that claims it’s “anonymous”.
My standard answer is “it’s against my religion to be anonymous.” Never took any <synonym for excrement> about that answer.
p.s., I also decline to identify my race or ethnicity when asked. My little attempt to remember MLK.
