NEWJERSEY: Rampant and blatant pension padding and multiple pensions

>Rampant and blatant pension padding and multiple pensions

Dear Trenton Dwellers,

I can’t afford you any more. I certainly can’t afford to pay all those “pensions” you’ve been voting yourself. I’m old enough to remember the original pension debate when everyone if the state gooferment whined that the private sector got pensions and they should to. And, what a plum they got.

NOW, everyone in the private sector has a 401k.

Why not Trenton?

NJ: Taxpayers robbed for RU athetics!

Report: N.J. Lawmakers Aiding Rutgers Athletics
Sports Program Reportedly Receives Special Grants

*** begin quote ***

TRENTON (CBS) ― New Jersey lawmakers have reportedly been approving special grants to the Rutgers University athletics program even as academic aid is being slashed.

The Star-Ledger of Newark reports that Trenton lawmakers have approved $2.25 million in grants so far by tacking on earmarks to the state budget.

*** end quote ***

Shame on the poor reporting. The “NJ Lawmakers” are not “aiding” RU athletics. Makes it sound like the passed the hat. They’ve agreed among themselves to steal from the NJ taxpayers (I.e., us fools who can figure out to hide from the outlaw thieves, highwaymen, and con artist masquerading as “public servants”!) … … argh!

*** begin quote ***

The Democrats, of course, deserve to be blasted, but it is disingenuous to blame only one party for the mess the state’s finances are in. Christie Whitman, after all, helped starve state government of resources by cutting the income tax and then left behind a timebomb by revaluing the state pension fund.

Gov. Jon Corzine is the first executive since Florio to take the state’s fiscal problems seriously, though his prescription is a bad one likely to have some unpalatable side effects.

*** end quote ***

Well there is no doubt that both parties have their snouts in the trough up to their eyeballs.  But, pointing out that both are complicit is a giant waste of time. That’s what the mainstream media is good for … … wasting time. It’s apparent that the taxpayers have few friends in the media. If 1015 boosts its ratings by leading a tax revolt again, it’s at least on the right side of the battle imho. The Hands Across New Jersey movement was sold out by the R’s with respect to Initiative, Referendum, and Recall. By the time that everyone realized, the momentum ws lost.

For the NJ taxpayers, this state is just a total disaster. Until the people paying the taxes stop, the gooferment mess will just roll up bigger and bigger bills.  We can’t afford the ever burgeoning political class, the increasing bureaucratic do-nothings,  the teacher’s union, and all the parasites that suck off the productive class.

Time has come to end: (1) pensions for everyone especially politicians; (2) gooferment education; and (3) the expansive worthless state gooferment.

“Unpalatable side effects”!

The author has to be joshing. The Corzine “plan, which is conveniently short of details or written legislation, promise to bankrupt the state with a huge debt that will never be liquidated, give the Trenton gang a pot of money to steal from,  choke the  state with cars driven off the toll roads, force business to pass along these costs to everyone in everything trucked thre the state, and — of course — we’ll need new state employees to track all of this.

“Unpalatable side effects”!

Maybe when the gang in Trenton drives out the productive class, then like a deadly parasite, they can find a new host.

Feel sorry for those leftbehind.

NEW JERSEY: The Guv proposed a series of toll hikes

Wednesday, January 23, 2008

http://www.nj1015.com/tollplan.shtm

THE FLYING PIG COALITION

*** begin quote ***

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine (D) has proposed a series of toll hikes to begin in 2010 to go towards fixing the state’s budget woes and repairs to roadways. Under Corzine’s Financial Restructuring and Debt Reduction Plan, the cost of the average turnpike trip would increase about five times by 2022 to $9.86. Since the announcement of the plan during his State Of The State address, the plan has met with overwhelming opposition from the public, all wondering what they can do.

*** end quote ***

An 800% increase in tolls. Lots more money for Trenton to waste. No sign of any contriteness, contraction, or even shame from the politicians.

The Guv wants an alternative.

How about:

* An across the board 20% cut in all State spending

* Hiring freeze; zero replacement plan.

* Stop all pensions for politicians.

* Freeze state workers pensions. Convert to a cash balance 401k. Give notes to cover the accrued liability.

* Constitutionally limit spending.

* Constitutional end “thorough and efficient education”.

* End welfare.

* Restrict State Government functions to preventing the initiation of force and fraud.

I bet that would obviate the need for the Guv’s “Hock the Roads” plan.

NEWJERSEY: Ballot Question #4 Change “idiot”– Vote NO!

Saturday, November 3, 2007

http://thebehavioranalyst.wordpress.com/2007/10/22/vote-yes-on-public-question-4-in-new-jersey-on-nov-6-2007

*** begin quote ***

Unfortunately, since 1844, these inappropriate and offensive words of ’idiot’ and ‘insane’ have been used to refer to people with disabilities in the State of New Jersey’s Constitution.

*** end quote ***

Now we can have a few jokes about anyone who votes in New Jersey IS an idiot suffering delusions that anything is going to change.

Now that the laughter has died down. I urge a “no” vote.

I’m in a snit. We don’t have Initative and Referendum that everyone promised us. We have a State Supreme Court that says our votes don’t matter. And we have a corrupt gang calling themselves “government” that thumbs their nose at us voting themselves ever richer portions of the public treasury.

So, “no”, “no”, “no” … and I’m going to hold my breath until I turn blue.

This is meaningless. And they let us vote on that! “barbara streisand”

Argh!

Just vote against incumbent politicians and “no” on everything.

Stop cooperating with the gooferment’s nonsense.

NEWJERSEY: Ballot Question #3 Green Space — Vote NO!

Saturday, November 3, 2007

http://www.njkeepitgreen.org

*** begin quote ***

On November 6, 2007, New Jersey voters will be asked to approve the Green Acres, Farmland, Blue Acres and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 2007. By authorizing the state to issue $200 million in bonds, the Act would provide much-needed funds to keep the state’s open space, farmland and historic preservation programs afloat for one more year.

You can decide the future of our state’s preservation efforts by voting yes on November 6th and spreading the word about public question #3. We need your help to preserve New Jersey’s parks, natural areas, clean water, farmland and historic treasures.

*** end quote ***

Now if the politicians want to give us green space, then let them organize a charity and tin cup for funds. It makes no sense to me to run people out of the state by artificially making real estate more expensive.

Unless you’re one of the “landed gentry” who support the gang in DC, Trenton, and locally. Then, Green Space makes perfect sense. Don’t put your own money at risk. Let the taxpayer pay. So they use our stolen funds to overpay for the local toxic dump and they reap the rewards. We get to pay the taxes and the higher costs. Dumb!

And, what about the “poor” folks who can’t afford “green spaces”? They pay or else. Senior citizens on fixed incomes. The squeezed middle class. The poor. We all play through the nose in hidden and not so hidden costs of “green space”.

Another problem that gooferment creates and then rides in to “save” us.

Argh!

I urge a “no” vote.

I’m in a snit. We don’t have Initiative and Referendum that everyone promised us. We have a State Supreme Court that says our votes don’t matter. And we have a corrupt gang calling themselves “government” that thumbs their nose at us voting themselves ever richer portions of the public treasury.

Multimillionaire New Jersey Gov. Jon S. Corzine is putting his own money toward getting voters to approve borrowing $450 million for stem cell research.

*** end quote ***

So why do they have to steal our money to fund such a worthwhile activity?

Yup, you got it. We’ll pay but who’ll benefit. Certainly not us.

Argh!

Just vote against incumbent politicians and “no” on everything.

Stop cooperating with the gooferment’s nonsense.

NEWJERSEY: Hold your nose and get a GRIP!

Friday, November 2, 2007

In the NJ 14th Legislative District:

Democrat Singh (or write in my name or NOTA none of the above)

Libertarians Scheurer & Cragle

And right down the republican line against all the incumbents.

Sorry, doesn’t matter if you’ve been good or bad. Out you go!

# – # – #

In defense of GRIP if it accidentally knocks off a “good person”, there is a modest argument that explains it. If the “good person” was part of the corrupt organization, then that person failed in their duty to fix the problem. So “we” are firing that person for being “ineffective” as opposed to all the others that we are firing for being “crooks”. It really doesn’t matter why you were fired. (That’s what they tell you in “job search” school. It’s reality. Deal with it.) So you were either part of the problem or powerless to fix the problem. Either way, it’s time for you to go.

# – # – #

And, why do politicians and gooferment bureaucrats have pensions anyway? Most voters don’t!

Wednesday, October 31, 2007 – Millennium Radio

Stop cooperating with the gooferment’s nonsense.

Poll Finds Many Hoping to Leave Jersey Behind
Wednesday, October 17, 2007 – Associated Press

While one recent study found more than 231,000 people have left New Jersey since 2002, a poll released Wednesday found many more would like to follow.

The Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey Poll found 49 percent of New Jersey adults would like to move out of the state, compared to 44 percent who would prefer to stay and 7 percent who are unsure.

NEWJERSEY: Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians!

Republican Lawmaker Calls on Corzine to Release Monetization Documents
Thursday, October 04, 2007 – Millennium Radio

*** begin quote ***

State Senator Tom Kean, Jr. (R) on Wednesday sent a letter to Governor Jon S. Corzine demanding that he authorize the IRS to release documents relating to the governor’s still-in-the-works secret plan to possibly lease or sell New Jersey’s toll roads to generate revenues, the so-called asset monetization plan. Kean accused the Corzine administration and Trenton Democrats of intentionally withholding details of the plan until after the November election.

*** end quote ***

This is one of those typical giant Nu Jerzee jokes.

Like why are school bond votes taken in the spring of a year?

To put them as far away from the election as possible.

Why are property tax rebates send out just before the election?

To make the voters think that politicians care!

So here’s the next one.

The Guv has a “secret plan” to take the State’s assets to the proverbial Wall Street pawnshop. It’s so secret that every knows that it’s going to happen right after the election. Then all the politicians, komisars, and bureaucrats can spend till it’s all gone. It’s like taking a second mortgage to go on a seven day drunk. Why would anyone in their right mind think this way?

Normal people don’t.

Politicians are NOT normal!

So, they just want to coast thru this election and the voters will have two years to forget. I bet the vote to hock the Turnpike will be done by year end.

The Guv’s telling everyone the plan isn’t ready for the public. Sure. You figure it out and he may have a Florio style tax revolt on his hands.

The Republicans are not even making a very BIG deal about it. Remember these “two parties” are really just two sides of the same coin. And, they’ll get their share for keeping quiet.

It’s FRAUD. A sham pulled on the sheep of NJ.

How do you stop it?

Easy.

Jim Gearhart http://www.nj1015.com/personalities/jim-gearhart.shtm has coined the term — GRIP! Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians!

As he says: “Hold your nose and vote against anyone who is in office now.”

Of course, they are no better than the person that you are voting out. But next election, you can do it again. Revolving door? Sure. But the current voting pattern isn’t doing us any good. Time to shake things up.

Turn out the gang in trenton. A new gang could NOT possibly be any worse than what we have. If you don’t, then be prepared for more borrowing, more spending, tool hikes, and tax hikes. It’s a done deal as if it was coming down from the mount on stone tablets. Our only chance is to scare the “barbara streisand” out of them. Voting our every incumbent in the assembly and those up for reelection in the Senate would surly scare them.

Get mad! Get a GRIP!

NEWJERSEY: This “incest” between the Guv and Karla has more facets than the Hope Diamond

Corzine/Katz E-Mail Saga Gets Even Muddier
Wednesday, September 19, 2007 – Millennium Radio

*** begin quote ***

The legal battle over whether Governor Jon Corzine should make public e-mails he exchanged with state employee union president and ex-girlfriend Carla Katz during recent state worker contract negotiations continues to get more bizarre by the day. An intra-union battle is now brewing as Katz’s fellow Local presidents offer conflicting stories of what did or did not happen with the bargaining committee.

*** end quote ***

Looks like the Union Members are wising up to the screwing that they took in this whole thing. The taxpayers and the union members were screwed by the Gut and Karla. We don’t understand exactly where the bodies are buried, but it stinks.

Corzine’s Monetization Scheme Still Not Ready
Thursday, September 27, 2007 – Millennium Radio

*** begin quote ***

Cynics claim that Governor Jon Corzine is intentionally delaying the unveiling of his state asset monetization plan until after November’s elections because polls show voters oppose the very concept. Generating cash for the state by monetizing the toll roads has been the most critiqued possibility and surveys reveal voters fear huge toll increases. Those same cynics say by withholding the scheme, Corzine is protecting his fellow Democrats from backlash at the polls. Corzine says the plan simply isn’t ready yet.

*** end quote ***

The Guv is going to the pawn shop with NJ taxpayer’s assets. And, he’s going to do it immediately after the election.

Any one who votes for a Democrat is a fool.

Not that the Republicans are any different, just that it will put a sharp slap up to the side of their head.

After the election, the roads paid for will be sold to the Guv’s friends on Wall Street by the Guv’s friends on Wall Street. The money will go down the Trenton rat hole.

What a joke!
