I had a discussion with the Director, Civic and Community Engagement of Santa Clara County whom I was referred to when I attempted to ask for a meeting with the County Executive.

Here’s the tl;dr:

    “The Santa Clara County Public Health Department isn’t interested in answering any questions about malfeasance regarding their data and we’re not interested in the answer either.

    We don’t give a shit that people were injured or killed as a result of the public health recommendations so we’re not going to answer any more of your questions.

    Have a nice day. Goodbye.”

This is an unacceptable response and I’m not going to let them get away with it. I plan to hold them accountable for their actions. All legal of course!

It’s time that Gooferment bureaucrats were held accountable for being non-responsive.

The Gooferment politician in charge should fire them.  If they refuse or can’t, then they should be cvoted out of office.

I bet that this only has to be done a few times to correct bad behavior.

The humps themselves are about three inches high and about 12 to 14 feet long. Cars can smoothly travel over them at 20 miles per hour or slower.

A speed hump could be coming to a street in your neighborhood soon, as the city unrolls a years-long effort to promote traffic safety.

The City of Boston will install more than 2,000 of the humps, as part of “Safety Surge,” which began in October. The City plans to have installed more than 400 humps by the end of July.

Three small businesses are suing a St. Louis suburb, accusing the local government of sneakily steamrolling them to make a hefty profit through a deal that could financially cripple longtime mom-and-pop shops.

“All the politicians say every day on the news how great we are, but when we’re in their way, we’re not so great,” Feather-Craft Fly Fishing President Bob Story said about small businesses. “You can be a part of a community for 30-plus years and be treated like you’re worthless.”

The city of Brentwood, Missouri, is threatening to use eminent domain to force out businesses on a major road for a multi-million dollar redevelopment plan. A few longtime business owners accused the city of making a groundless claim that the area has been “blighted” to justify the lucrative project on Manchester Road, leading them to file their lawsuit.

Property owners could either sell willingly or be forced out by eminent domain.

In 2005, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in favor of cities using eminent domain to seize property for economic development in the Kelo vs. New London case. Certain states, including Missouri, have since taken steps to protect property owners, but loopholes have allowed cities to take advantage of vulnerable areas like Manchester Road, the business owners said. 

In Missouri, state law allows the government to seize private property that has been deemed blighted, broadly defined as having “insanitary or unsafe conditions, deterioration of site improvements” or other factors that present “economic or social liability.”

In Kelo, a neighborhood was seized and flattened for a Pfizer Headquarters that was never built.

Wonder whose nests got feathered by that “deal”?  Wasn’t the home owners.

Sounds like the same type of “deal” here.

A few weeks ago, he received a letter from the city stating he needed to build a new fence to hide said vessel from view of the street. After reluctantly building the fence and driveway, he presented a sassy idea to me that would require my artistic skills.

Ron Paul says to cut foreign aid to all countries, even to Israel, because it essentially takes money from the poor in the U.S. and is given to the rich in poor countries.

I remember post WW2 when real people sent CARE packages to war torn Europe.

Let “real people” contribute “foreign aid” when they see fit in ways they see fit.  I like “DONOR SEE” for the way real people can help real people without force or fraud.

OxFam and other such charities are good ways to do it.

Just nothing with the Gooferment, the UN, or other NGO’s .

A North Carolina Court of Appeals found that a clinic, where personnel gave a 14-year-old boy a COVID-19 shot without his consent or parental consent, was protected by the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act). The court concluded that the Guilford Board of Education, which hosted the clinic, was also covered by the PREP Act.1
 
Despite calling the act of forcing a child to get a COVID-19 shot against his will and without his parent’s consent, “egregious,” the court unanimously concluded that the PREP Act preempted state law and protected the defendants from being held liable for battery, violation of Tanner’s mother’s constitutional liberty and parental rights, and violation of Tanner’s bodily autonomy and plaintiffs’ federal constitutional rights.2
 
The minor child, Tanner Smith, attended Western Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina when the school district sent a letter to his parents stating that Tanner was one of the students who may have been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and that, unless he got tested, he would not be able to “return to football practice until cleared by a public health professional.” The letter set forth that one of the local schools would be hosting a free clinic offering testing the following day. The letter explained that, “consent for testing is required.”3 4
 
The following day, Tanner’s step-father took him to the clinic at the local school for the free testing so that Tanner could return to football practice. The school district failed to inform the parents that a there was also a free vaccination clinic along with the free testing at the school that same day. While Tanner’s step-father waited in the car, Tanner filled out a form that he believed was for the free testing needed to return to football practice. At that time, one of the clinic workers attempted to reach out to Tanner’s mother but she was not available. Tanner’s step-father who was waiting outside the clinic was not called.5

Executive summary

The CDC has released the first drop of the V-safe free-text comments so everyone can see for themselves that the COVID vaccine has extremely serious safety problems.

There are nearly 400,000 comments in this release.

The only question is: why did they wait so long to do this?

In my opinion, these “customer testimonials” are the single best selling tool they have to get people to take the COVID vaccine.

The CDC should be running TV and newspaper ads! Something like “Are you unsure whether the COVID vaccine is right for you? Here is what our satisfied users had to say about this amazing product that will change your life, sometimes forever!”

Reading some of the comments — and being attuned to some of the various disastrous deaths and cancers that might be in some way related — I’ll pass on this chemistry experiment while sticking with the old traditional definition of vaccine. As always, YMMV.

Remember “they” redefined  “vaccine” to include this new genetic engineering technology.  Forced as many as possible to take it with intimidation, threats, and coercion.  Ignored the concept of “informed consent” and “my body; my choice”.  Gave Big Pharma complete immunity from lawsuits.  And, ignored vaccine injuries, sudden cardiac deaths, flawed “trials” (i.e., remember eliminating control groups). 

Never mind the whole safe and effective “horse pill” that won a Nobel Prize for eliminating river blindness.

Then we have the small matter of the “emergency use” while having a licensed product.

Sorry, but do what you want, but “no thank you” for me.

An Easton couple has filed the second civil complaint against Lehigh Valley Health Network and Dr. Debra Esernio-Jenssen, who has been accused of intentionally misdiagnosing children as victims of abuse from their parents. 

Esernio-Jenssen is accused of systematically overdiagnosing children with a rare condition called Munchausen syndrome by proxy, in which a child’s caretaker makes up fake symptoms to make the child appear sick. She is also accused of falsely accusing parents of child abuse — which has led to some parents losing custody of their children or serving prison time, the lawsuit alleges.

The lawsuit lists a total of 17 causes of action against Jenssen, LVHN and other defendants. Among these causes are corporate negligence, medical professional liability (multiple causes), interference with parental rights, fraud and invasion of privacy.

I hope that some of these lawsuits reach the politicians, bureaucrats, and executives involved.

In RealClearInvestigations, Julie Kelly reports how a much-hyped, supposedly white-supremacist “plot” to kidnap Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan has been exposed as more like a broad conspiracy by law enforcement to entrap Americans with unpopular political views.

Highlights:

  •     Details revealed during largely successful appeals by defendants – proceedings mostly ignored by national media – make the operation sound like something out of an over-the-top Hollywood script. 
  •     Public defenders have identified at least 12 FBI informants and three undercover FBI agents managed by numerous field offices.
  •     The plot line features secretive FBI cash payouts; drug parties; a wife-beating FBI investigator; a career felon turned bureau asset and later accused as a “double agent” – all wrapped up with a dramatic FBI takedown scene at the end.
  •     FBI informants met with their targets to brainstorm how to blow up a bridge outside Whitmer’s summer cottage; kill her security detail; take her to a nearby boat launch; and perhaps bring her across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin for a “citizen’s trial” over her COVID-19 lockdowns.
  •     The reported plot mastermind was not, as originally portrayed by prosecutors, a bigoted extremist, but a homeless man, dubbed “Captain Autism,” living in the dilapidated basement of a vacuum repair shop with no running water or toilet.
  •     A 2020 protest at the Michigan state Capitol in Lansing appeared to presage FBI tactics during the Jan. 6 Capitol siege, with similar optics. The head of the Detroit FBI field office was promoted to run the Washington, D.C., FBI field office three months before the protest — the episode three years ago today that lives on as a cudgel for President Biden and the left to attack Donald Trump.

Little more than two weeks later, on January 2nd, 2021, Secretary Raffensperger and members of his staff had a call with President Trump and members of his team. On that call, President Trump asked about inaccurate voter records. Both Secretary Raffensperger and General Counsel Ryan Germany stated that they had fully evaluated the various claims of election irregularities and said without qualification there was no evidence to support them, including no problems with the voting records. This statement was knowingly false. Both men were well-aware of that falsity at the time.

So, in addition to ignore their duty to clean the voter rolls, they lied to the sitting President.

Surely, there must be some criminal statutes for them to be prosecuted under?

A rogue driver on the Upper East Side has found a loophole to get around parking tickets — removing his license plates. 

The Post witnessed a man in a blue Honda Odyssey park on East 85th Street between York and First Avenues, before yanking the Connecticut license plate off the back of the car and stashing it in a plastic bag.

The man then strutted into a nearby apartment building at 424 E. 85th Street, where he works as a super. 

Neighborhood residents say the slippery scofflaw had been pulling the same trick for months, to avoid being slapped with parking tickets and being towed. 

They said they called the cops multiple times on the serial parking abuser but officials said police are not able to tow vehicles that have no plates — so-called “ghost cars” — unless the city Sanitation Department first marks them for removal.

Here’s a novel idea: team a Policeman, Sanitation official, and a few tow trucks.  Sanitation tags the car, the Police ticket it, and the tow truck takes it away.  Ez Pee Zee. 

I like street justice by the Fire Department when someone blocks a hydrane; let the fire folks practice breaking car windows and hooking up a leaky hose for a few hours.  Good practice and I bet you only need the NY Post to photo it.  Problem solved.

According to GM, almost 1,000 of its nearly 2,000 Buick dealerships across the U.S. chose to take buyouts from the parent company rather than investing potentially millions into retooling and prepping dealers to service and sell EVs.

The buyouts mean that GM will now have just about 1,000 Buick dealerships across the nation as the automaker moves forward with adhering to President Joe Biden’s green energy agenda.

Massie is echoing sentiments expressed by President Ronald Reagan in 1981, who advocated dismantling the Department of Education even though it had just begun operating in 1980.

“By eliminating the Department of Education less than 2 years after it was created,” said Reagan, “we cannot only reduce the budget but ensure that local needs and preferences, rather than the wishes of Washington, determine the education of our children.”

I can’t think of a better way to start off the year than by nuking the Department of Education.  Maybe Energy too.

If one of the objectives was to improve “education”, then it has failed miserably.  And, unlike the private sector which takes care of mistakes (i.e., malinvestment in things not demanded by the consumer)  — think of the Edsel, cassette tapes, and Blockbuster  — via the bankruptcy court, no Gooferment program ever goes out of business.

Time to change that now!

A Senate panel approved a bill Thursday that would create new penalties for underage alcohol possession over the complaints of advocates who said the shift would send more young people into the criminal justice system.

The bill, approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee in a 9-2 vote, would subject individuals under the age of 21 found to possess alcohol to a $50 fine and a complaint summons, the equivalent of a disorderly persons offense.

Legislators who supported the bill said the change is needed to address parties in Jersey Shore towns that local officials have decried as chaotic and disruptive, and to provide some measure of enforcement for underage users who flout drinking laws.
