David Stockman, Ronald Reagan’s director of the Office of Management and Budget, was even blunter than ol’ Woods:

In a peaceful, non-interventionist Republic, foreign countries would not spend tens of millions in one-off Congressional races because there would be no policy favors, fiscal lucre and military aids to lobby for. And AIPAC would not even exist, let alone be bragging about replacing the two greatest advocates of peace and liberty in the US Congress with two paid lackeys with their noses up the place in Bibi’s anatomy where the sun don’t shine. Bring the Empire Home. All of it.

I have become more painfully aware at the Israeli influence in our politics. The Massie race has magnified this to a point where it is unavoidable.

My hot buttons now are:

  1. Israeli political influence should be stopped
  2. AIPAC should be recognized as a adversarial organization
  3. Dual citizenship Congress members should be ejected and prohibited from running
  4. Naturalized citizens in Congress are not permitted to run for any political office
  5. The Military Industrial (Congressional) Complex
  6. Naturalized citizens who fight or pledge allegenice to a foreign country should be “denaturalized”
  7. American citizens who fight for a foreign country should be “uncitizenshiped”
  8. Those who commit felonies — green card holders deported and naturalized citizens “denaturalized”

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: Eliminate the Department of Education based on the education “results” in the USA

Reagan’s Goal to End the Department of Education Is Finally Gaining Momentum

  • Ending the Department of Education may seem like a radical idea, but it’s not as crazy as it sounds.

“Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. should not be in charge of our children’s intellectual and moral development,” said Massie when he initially introduced the bill. “States and local communities are best positioned to shape curricula that meet the needs of their students.”

Massie is echoing sentiments expressed by President Ronald Reagan in 1981, who advocated dismantling the Department of Education even though it had just begun operating in 1980.

“By eliminating the Department of Education less than 2 years after it was created,” said Reagan, “we cannot only reduce the budget but ensure that local needs and preferences, rather than the wishes of Washington, determine the education of our children.”

I can’t think of a better way to start off the year than by nuking the Department of Education.  Maybe Energy too.

If one of the objectives was to improve “education”, then it has failed miserably.  And, unlike the private sector which takes care of mistakes (i.e., malinvestment in things not demanded by the consumer)  — think of the Edsel, cassette tapes, and Blockbuster  — via the bankruptcy court, no Gooferment program ever goes out of business.

Time to change that now!

Argh!
