INSPIRATIONAL: Why we need “our” “female Human Resources”

The quiet hero of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ (Hint: It’s NOT Jimmy Stewart)
By Paul J. Batura| Fox News

*** begin quote ***

As we approach the 71st anniversary of Frank Capra’s perennial Christmas classic “It’s A Wonderful Life,” I think it’s time to reexamine the film’s heroes. The result might surprise you.

As a child, I assumed the hero was Jimmy Stewart’s wholesome hometown character, George Bailey. The American Film Institute agreed, listing George as the ninth greatest screen hero of all time. After all, the whole point of the movie is to show us what life in Bedford Falls would be like without George.

Here’s a lesson about why we need “our” “female Human Resources”. (And, we should thank all the countries of the world who keep “their” females barefoot, pregnant, and uneducated.)

While my personal “Christmas hero” is pre-transformation old Ebenezer — who gets a bum rap imho, I can certainly make room for a heroine as #2.

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: Why can’t the USA be more like Estonia?

Estonia, the digital republic

*** begin quote ***

Its government is virtual, borderless, blockchained, and secure. Has this tiny post-Soviet nation found the way of the future?

The Estonian government is so eager to take on big problems that many ambitious techies leave the private sector to join it.

*** and ***

I asked Kaevats what he saw when he looked at the U.S. Two things, he said. First, a technical mess. Data architecture was too centralized. Citizens didn’t control their own data; it was sold, instead, by brokers. Basic security was lax. “For example, I can tell you my I.D. number—I don’t fucking care,” he said. “You have a Social Security number, which is, like, a big secret.” He laughed. “This does not work!” The U.S. had backward notions of protection, he said, and the result was a bigger problem: a systemic loss of community and trust. “Snowden things and whatnot have done a lot of damage. But they have also proved that these fears are justified.

*** end quote ***

There’s a plethora of great ideas in this story. So many that it’s hard to absorb them in one sitting.

I love the citizen is in control of their data.

In the USA would be IMPOSSIBLE without the (unconstitutional) Social Security “number”.

Why can’t “we” have all these benefits here?

Simple Crony Capitalism. What would all the “info protection”, credit reporting, Gooferment “suppliers”  and consultants to the Gooferment do? All those lost “campaign contributions”!

And, imagine all the waste, fraud, and abuse that would be found.

If DJT45 wants to drain the swamp, then here’s how to do it.

Argh!

TINFOILHAT: Bundy Ranch case whistleblower exposes Gooferment malfeasance

LEAD BLM INVESTIGATOR BLOWS WHISTLE, EXPOSES GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE BUNDY FAMILY
DECEMBER 16, 2017 | JAY SYRMOPOULOS | THEFREETHOUGHTPROJECT.COM

*** begin quote ***

The lead BLM investigator in the Bundy Ranch case has blown the whistle exposing “far-reaching misconduct, recklessness and unrestrained antipathy toward the family.”

*** and ***

Only two days later Wooten was removed from the investigation by his supervisor. Another BLM agent confiscated files relating to his investigation from his office; including computer hard drives, collected emails, text messages, case notes and “lessons learned,” Wooten wrote.

“These items were taken because they contained significant evidence of misconduct and items that would potentially embarrass BLM Law Enforcement Supervision,” Wooten’s memo noted. “I am convinced that I was removed to prevent the ethical and proper further disclosure of the severe misconduct.”

According to Wooten, he was told by his supervisor that Myhre “furiously demanded” his removal from the case – and said something regarding the BLM’s failure to hand over critical evidence to his office.
Myhre “adopted an attitude of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell” or “preferred ignorance” in regards to information from the BLM that could be helpful to the Bundy defense, according to Wooten.

Additionally, he noted the extremely inaccurate talking points used by prosecutors, particularly failing to disclose the fact that BLM sniper teams took up positions around the Bundy Ranch before the standoff on April 12, 2014.

*** end quote ***

How much Gooferment abuse of citizens will “We, The Sheeple” tolerate?

If DJT45 wants to “drain the swamp”, how about shutting down the BLM.

And, why should the BLM have “sniper teams” at all?

LIBERTY: Did this just screw up the whole Mueller effort?

LEGAL ANALYSIS: Why Mueller’s Seizure of Transition Emails Likely Violated the Law
by Robert Barnes | 5:38 pm, December 18th, 2017

*** begin quote ***

First, whether the government or company maintains a policy banning personal use.

Second, whether the government or employer monitors the use of the email.

Third, whether third parties have a right of access to the emails beyond technical audits and maintenance.

Fourth, whether the government or employer notifies the individual of the limits on privacy in the emails, whether the individual was aware of those policies, the use of those policies, and the monitoring of those policies. It boils down to whether a person in the individual’s shoes would have had no reasonable expectation of privacy in their email communications.

A fifth factor is relevant in the Fourth Amendment context: whether the government gave an individual notice and the individual had knowledge of the right to refuse to give consent to the future search of their emails.

*** end quote ***

Sounds like a lawyer, who should have known better, exceeded his authority.

Does that throw throw the whole result in the rubbish bin?

Anonymous Email to Visa CEO Led to Top Executive’s Firing

This fall, Visa Chief Executive Alfred Kelly received a troubling, anonymous email: Jim McCarthy, one of his most senior and high-profile executives, had been involved in romantic relationships with women at the card giant, according to people familiar with the email’s content.

The email proved a test for Mr. Kelly. He had been in the CEO’s post for less than a year and had made a point from the get-go of stressing the importance of company culture and how executives manage staff.
Weeks after Mr. Kelly received the email tip, Visa fired Mr. McCarthy on Dec. 1.

Let the chips fall where they may.

I never played the grab ass games common on Wall Street and large corporations.

I’m sure that hurt me politically. But I could always put me head down in peace.

Hope there is more “justice”.

Rabble-rousing surgical staff wear their names on their caps to stop mix-ups and improve patient safety
Kate Aubusson

Dr Rob Hackett was met with smirks and confused, occasionally derisive, looks when he started turning up to surgeries with his name and profession emblazoned in bold black typeface across his scrub cap.

“Rob … Anaesthetist”, his forehead announced to colleagues and patients alike.

When I first read about the effect of using to checklist in preventing surgical agents, I thought that was a great breakthrough.

This can rank right up there.
