Insurance or extended warranties aren’t required purchases for all iPhone owners. You may already have a good idea about whether your phone might get broken or be stolen before you’re ready to upgrade to a new phone. I always thought almost any kind of “product insurance” was a scam.
Especially on any item that costs less than 200$.
You really have to self-insure anything below where it would hurt to have to replace on your own (i.e., home, auto, an “unbrella”).
As for poor “customer service” or “tech support”, that’s the norm today. Disgraceful, but no one seems to care.
