PGP doesn’t think so. Maybe they don’t care. Maybe they get the big enterprises to drop big bux on them.
Try and buy “PGP HOME” and paste and cut your email in to the retype email field. (Or use a keyboard macro expansion!). Can’t do it.
So, I guess I don’t need “PGP HOME”.
One lost sale. Think PGP cares? I don’t
And, lest you think it’s just PGP, look at how many times you have to put your ZIPCODE in AND your state as well. Think there might be a relation between the two? And, STATE is the only pick from a list field, when everything is text input. Can’t edit STATE for valid values.

Scientist: FDA suppressed imaging safety concerns

“A former Food and Drug Administration scientist said yesterday that his job was eliminated after he raised concerns about the risks of radiation exposure from high-grade medical scanning. Dr. Julian Nicholas said at a public hearing that he and other FDA staffers ‘were pressured to change their scientific opinion,’ after they opposed the approval of a CAT scanner for routine colon cancer screening. Nicholas said that he objected to exposing otherwise healthy patients to the cancer risks of radiation. After FDA officials pushed ahead with plans to clear the device, Nicholas, now a physician at the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, said he and eight other staffers raised their concerns with the division’s top director, Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, last September. Glen Beck has Laffer ont he TV show today. He says with 11% will fully fund the gooferment today at current levels. He points out that Jerry Brown want it at 13%, with the extra 2% to pay off the national debt.

The Press over the years have mellowed. They didn’t report, for some really egregious examples, FDR in a wheelchair, JFK’s “catholic” sexacpades, and Clinton’s white water. (Those just jump to mind.)
The DOWGs had in their mind, and typical for their day, a nasty press: The National Enquirer! Hence it needed protection. The Press was supposed to be nasty and in your fce. That’s how you sold papers. But, over the decades, The Press’ killer instinct atrophied.
They don’t go for the jugular. They don’t report the hard unvarnished truth. They “spin”. Now they’re virtual xerox machines for politician’s talking points. That’s why they are dying.
Tiger’s hypocritical image should have been shredded.
The failure of the cops and prosecutors to arrest and indict should still be front page news.
Imagine if his name wasn’t Tiger?
So too, OBH44 gets to conceal his papers and is pimped by a docile media.
Real journalism is left to the wacko websites and us bloggers.
So sad!
