The shocking moment three women beat an Asian man with a metal pipe before taking off with his car has been caught on camera.

Danxin Shi, a rideshare driver, is no longer able to work after his vehicle was stolen by the gang about 5:30pm on Tuesday evening in crime-ridden, Dem-led Chicago.

Footage shows the moment the Chinatown resident, who lives West 22nd Place, parking his vehicle and walking along the street when he is struck with a weapon and shoved to the ground – where he is beaten repeatedly.

Guess the race of the three “women”?

I’m fed up with crime and adults who are out of control.

While I’m against the death penalty when the Gooferment administer it, I am for the RKBA and what everyone have the ability to defend themselves.  In this case, deadly force was warranted, and that man should have be able to “convince” the young ladies of the error of their ways.

What’s the Grappler Police Bumper?
FOX 10 Phoenix  — Sep 2, 2023

*** begin quote ***

Police pursuits are unpredictable, dangerous, and in some cases, even deadly.

These pursuits put not only officers’ lives in danger, but also innocent people who happen to get caught up in the chaos.

Until recently, there was no safe way to bring them to an end. Officers would have to rely on something called a ‘PIT Maneuver’ (PIT, according to an article on the U.S. Department of Justice’s website, stands for Precision Immobilization Technique) to try to stop the vehicles they were after by forcing a vehicle to spin out and come to a stop. Another option is to lay down spike strips to deflate the tires, but even then, the suspects would often keep going on the rim only.

Five years ago, however, a new option emerged in the form of the Grappler Police Bumper.

TINFOILHAT: 9/11 Will We Ever Get the Truth?

9/11, 22 Years Later: Will We Ever Get the Truth?
Guest Post by Kevin Barrett

*** begin quote ***

Carlson built his career by cultivating a reputation for straight talk, unfazed by political correctness. But as he suggests, straight talk about 9/11 in general, and WTC-7 in particular, is unwelcome in today’s USA. In mainstream media, even asking questions in unacceptable.

Why can’t we ask questions about Building 7? Because the answers are all-too-obvious—and all-too-embarrassing to the rulers of the intertwined American and Israeli empires.

World Trade Center Building 7, a 47-story high-rise, collapsed into its own footprint at 5:21 pm on September 11, 2001, seven hours after the Twin Towers were destroyed. Numerous witnesses reported police and emergency personnel announcing that WTC-7 was about to come down. Seconds before it fell, witnesses overheard a countdown to demolition (“five-four-three-two-one”) on police radio, followed by the massive explosion that precipitated the “collapse.”

The building fell at absolute free-fall for the first two-and-a-half seconds, and near-free-fall thereafter. That means that all of WTC-7’s vertical supports had somehow been simultaneously and completely removed. The only known mechanism that can do that is professionally-prepared-and-timed explosives.

The obvious controlled demolition of Building 7 threw a monkey wrench into the US government’s official 9/11 narrative. WTC-7 had been one of the most important buildings in America. It housed the CIA’s second-largest headquarters after Langley, Virginia, as well as the Secret Service, the Securities and Exchange Commission with its Enron files, the Internal Revenue Service, and many of America’s biggest corporate heavy hitters. What’s more, WTC-7’s 23rd floor was the home of New York’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM), where the local and federal governments would manage their joint response to any major disaster—like 9/11.

POLITICAL: What Federal Gooferment agencies would you shut down?

Trump’s Movement Transcends Politics
By Matt Kane

*** begin quote ***

But the gloves are now off. So much about the American political system is rooted in precedent, and a precedent has been set that will allow Trump to open investigations into the many troubling actions taken by his predecessors. Another Trump election could bring true generational change to America for the better. He has vowed he would quickly bring down inflation and gas prices, strengthen the economy, secure the border, and reintroduce a strong America on the global stage in just months. But taking on the Deep State is most important now, and he has demonstrated that he understands how vital this task is for America’s long-term future by recently urging Republicans in Congress to “fight fire with fire.” He also referenced “an eye for an eye” when asked, if re-elected, if he would “lock up” those in government who commit crimes.

*** end quote ***

Recently I read someone complain that calling Washington DC a swamp it really unfair to swamps everywhere.  A better adjective would be a sewer.  Like the old joke about calling politicians “morons” was unfair to real “morons”.

That being said, Vivek Ramaswamy has at least begun to address the list of Federal Gooferment agencies that he would shutdown.  Desantis has four.

Us little L libertarians, have an inexhaustible list: Federal Reserve, FBI, AFT, DHS, IRS, HHS, D of Education, D of Energy, Agriculture, … … and on and on and on.

Man Used 80 Discarded Vape Batteries to Power an Electric Scooter Proving the Importance of E-Waste

By Good News Network – Sep 2, 2023

A clever graduate has used 80 discarded vape batteries to power his e-scooter—and to make a point about waste.

The 23-year-old Brit says disposable vape devices are marketed as expendable, but still have plenty of power—and people need to know that.

It didn’t cost any money to pick up 80 discarded vape batteries and he wired the lithium-ion batteries to a scooter purchased on eBay for $37 (£30).

Wow.  Now there’s an “injineer”.

I’m more impressed with scooters when I see them in use.  While I’m too old and heavy for one, and they really are only for “fair weather”, there is a lesson for “youngsters” who can’t drive yet that there are alternatives to “shank’s mare” aka walking.

It also demonstrates the value of “lateral thinking”.

JOBFINDING: Your “job” is to “find your NEXT job”

Wednesday, September 6, 2023

FROM REDDIT

I was fired by my employer today. They wouldn’t let me collect any personal belongings from my desk except my wallet, my keys and my own personal phone. Can they do this and if so how long are they allowed to keep my things?

# – # – # – # – #

MY CONTRIBUTION

On Wall Street, it was “common practice” for brokers (aka “financial consultants”, :”wealth managers”, etc. etc.) to keep a duplicate “shadow book” at home. This would be all their contacts and their information as well as portfolio holdings record. When they were “walked out”, their ”significant others”, who were not covered my NDAs or non-competes, would be on the phone letting “their Customers” know the news. Usually in a day or two, they were hired by a competitor and “their Customers” would be transferring their account to the new firm. Often, before a replacement was found for the departed, the Customer were already gone. That’s called “job security”. Brokerage house were always trying to discourage that “personal relationship” by inserting “assistants” into the process and relationships. But “high net worth” individuals want that “personal high maintenance touch”.

The lesson I learned was to keep duplicate files offsite and always remember that my “job” was to always be looking for my “next job”. Once, I had an offer in hand and resignation letter written, when I was fired as “surplus” about 2PM on a Friday afternoon. I was prepared to hand it in at 4PM and be “walked out”. Thanks to the timing, I was walked out with a very nice severance check which I wouldn’t have gotten if I’d quit. Started my new job on Monday with a renewed outlook to find my next job.

TL:DR Always be looking for your next job and plan / act accordingly!

JOBSEARCH: Corporate mergers ALWAYS result in LAYOFFS

📞 T-Mobile keeps doing the thing it said it wouldn’t do

When T-Mobile acquired Sprint, it promised to keep employee count higher than pre-merger. Yet, here we are with more T-Mobile layoffs.

# – # – # – # – #

Corporate mergers ALWAYS result in LAYOFFS. (Regardless of what “they” say!)

While NOT ALWAYS true, it’s usually the ACQUIRED company that gets laid off.

Occasionally when the ACQUIRER wants a particular aspect of the ACQUIRED company, that “team” will be spared.

Typically layoffs occur in the duplicate functions like HR, Finance & Accounting, mid-level management.

Be always prepared for it.  You should always be in “job search” mode.

REMEMBER:

Success for your generation is: (1) ruthless financial discipline — no bad debt; (2) a life long interest in learning — education — a degree — they can’t take it away from you; (3) a NON-OFFSHORABLE white collar job in order to save big bux; (4) a blue collar skill for hard times — never saw a poor plumber; (5) one or more internet based businesses — your store is always open; (6) a free time hobby that generates income; and (7) a large will-maintained network of people who can “help” you.

If you’re “surprised”, then you have failed at your most important job!

MONEY: “Labor Day” is a reminder of the effect of fiat money on the labor wage rate — Where is the $ 22-per-hour minimum wage?

Monday, September 4, 2023

We Don’t Need Better Government Policies for Workers; We Need Better Money
August 31, 2023 by Michael Maharrey

*** begin quote ***

Labor Day is coming up. That means we will hear a lot about the plight of American workers. And we will undoubtedly hear calls for new policies to help make their lives better. But we don’t really need more government policies to help workers.

*** and ***

When he announced the closing of the gold window, Nixon said, “Let me lay to rest the bugaboo of what is called devaluation,” and promised, “Your dollar will be worth just as much as it is today.”

This was also a lie.

The dollar has lost more than 85% of its value since Nixon’s fateful decision, based on the CPI calculator. The purchasing power of a 1971 dollar is equal to less than 14 cents today.

*** and ***

Johnson promised removing silver would have no impact on the value of US coinage. “[The] Treasury has a lot of silver on hand, and it can be, and it will be used to keep the price of silver in line with its value in our present silver coin,” he said.

He was lying, just like Nixon.

When LBJ signed the 1965 act, the value of a dollar was almost exactly the same as it had been in 1792—0.77 ounces of silver. By 1980 the dollar had plunged to 0.02 ounces of silver. Today, a dollar today is valued at about 0.06 ounces of silver.

What does this have to do with the minimum wage?

Consider this: In 1964, the minimum wage stood at $1.25. To put it another way, a minimum wage worker earned five silver quarters for every hour worked. Today, you can’t even buy a cup of coffee with those five quarters at face value.

But today, the silver melt value of those five quarters stands at over $22.

That’s a $ 22-per-hour minimum wage.

Now flip things around. Today, it takes 88 quarters to pay a $20 minimum wage. If you paid that in 1964 silver quarters, the value of the metal would be something in the neighborhood of $390!

*** end quote ***

That’s a $ 22-per-hour minimum wage.

So it you’re asking for a higher “minimum wage”, remember that the same Gooferment asking is the one that screwed you in the first place!

Focus on the true cause of “inflation” and why you can’t make ends meet.

Argh!

Happy “Labor” day, suckers.

To Halt Ibis Extinction Austrian Man Shows Birds a New Migration Route With His UltraLight–And it’s Working

By Andy Corbley – Aug 21, 2023

*** begin quote ***

An Austrian ornithologist has pioneered an incredible way of wildlife rehabilitation by fostering chicks of an endangered species before re-instituting their migratory practice by leading them along their natural migration route with an ultralight aircraft.

The method was developed to help reconnect the northern bald ibis, a bird that was extirpated in Europe 400 years ago, with its summer-winter migration pattern from northern Europe to its sunny southern climes.

Fritz came to the rescue again, hand-rearing chicks on ground mice and beef heart 8 times a day, while letting the inquisitive, gregarious chicks investigate his ears and nose for curiosity’s sake.

The Demolition of the World Trade Center (The Devil’s Trick)
Guest Post by Mark Gaffney

*** begin quote ***

Way back in 2007, a physics professor at Brigham Young University, Dr Steven E. Jones, turned up critical evidence while investigating samples of World Trade Center (WTC) dust. The samples had been collected immediately after September 11, 2001 from the thick deposit of dust that blanketed the WTC site and much of lower Manhattan. Jones found tiny bits of an exotic incendiary known as thermate that can cut through steel like a hot knife through butter. Thermate burns at ~5,000°F. The main product of the reaction is molten iron.

Thermate differs from its better known cousin thermite in that it contains sulfur which lowers the melting point of iron, speeding up the reaction. The presence of both sulfur and aluminum was diagnostic for thermate. Jones called this “the last nail in the coffin.” (Dr. Steven E. Jones, Revisiting 9/11/2001. Applying the Scientific Method, 2007)

*** end quote ***

In my hierarchy, I’ve always teetered between Level 5. Possible and maybe 4. Plausible.

After reading this about thermate and small nukes, it explains why “the pile” was so “hot” and how the steel structure could have “burned”.

The factoid about thyroid cancers is another pebble on the scale.

I doubt I’ll ever know.  We’re just finding more stuff out about the JFK assignation now that makes a laughing stock out of the “official story”.  Same with the RFK assignation.

So believe what you want, but I’m begging to suspect that the “lizard people”, our evil overloads, had a hand in this.

Whether you love Donald Trump and are daily festooned with MAGA paraphernalia, or despise everything about him, if you reflect on Trump’s trials you may have a real whiskey, tango, foxtrot moment.

The problem isn’t the indictments and whether they are bogus and political or sound and prudent. The lawyers and the courts will duke it out and someday we’ll know, or at least we’ll have the best answer the system can produce. No, the issue is Trump’s bail.

*** and ***

If Trump were willing (I heard this notion so it’s not original with me), then he should change his mind and tear up the bail agreement. Show up, be arrested, and then be taken to jail. The Secret Service would immediately invoke their federal authority and force the county to empty out the jail to ensure the former President’s safety. Then watch the thousands, then tens of thousands, then more and more come to the jail to protest. Even MSNBC would be forced to cover it.

Or, more likely, watch the Court and Willis squeak like little mice and say, never mind, Mr. Trump. See you in a few weeks. There would be plenty of embarrassment, but not for Trump.

TORONTO (LifeSiteNews) — A religious order has decided to sell a Marian shrine beloved to Toronto Catholics and well-known as a source of many reported miracles.

On August 15, Fr. Gabriel Haber, the Provincial Superior of the Order of St. Basil the Great of St. Josaphat, announced that the order is in the process of selling their Toronto-based monastery which includes the Marian Shrine of Gratitude, as faithful Catholics continue to pray the shrine will be preserved.

Again, the world is declining in entropy.

“No Margin; No mission”.

Perhaps, if there had been an admission charge, then the place might have survived.

Sad to see the beautiful places being absorbed by crass materialism.

The people are robbed by the fiat currency system such that they have no wealth left to donate to the beautiful places.

Where and when does it all grind to a halt?

Scientists Find A Whole New Ecosystem Hiding Beneath Earth’s Seafloor
By Andy Corbley – Aug 15, 2023

“The discoveries made on each Schmidt Ocean Institute expedition reinforce the urgency of fully exploring our ocean so we know what exists in the deep sea,” said Wendy Schmidt, president and co-founder of Schmidt Ocean Institute. “The discovery of new creatures, landscapes, and now, an entirely new ecosystem underscores just how much we have yet to discover about our Ocean–and how important it is to protect what we don’t yet know or understand.”

I’m continually amazed at all the fundamental scientific discoveries we keep making.  The Johari window http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johari_window seems have a huge quadrant 4 (I can’t see; you can’t see) content.

Fascinating.  And, encouraging that there is so much left to discover.

RANT: “Rich Men North Of Richmond” reminds me that “America is not the greatest country in the world anymore”

Thursday, August 24, 2023

Rich Men North Of Richmond reminds me of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and the anti-war folk singers in the 60’s. Hit a responsive chord in my thinking. Perhaps this is an anthem for the next revolution?

Remember when “Question Authority” was all the rage. “Rage against the dying of the light”!  Henry V – Speech – Eve of Saint Crispin’s DayAmerica is not the greatest country in the world anymore” – The Newsroom 2012

When does “We, The Sheeple” wake up, if ever?

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: US government data is suspect at best; deceitful at worst

Wednesday, August 23, 2023

Why you can’t trust the US government data

  • In this article, I will show you why government data is not trustable. That is why I personally prefer anecdotes that are verifiable when trying to figure out what is really going on.

Example 3: Thousands of patients died at a tiny facility in 2020 (just 69 beds with 68% occupancy)

This is my favorite example. Facility #235601.

In the last 7 months in 2020, this facility had 2,584 total deaths which included 9 deaths from COVID (from 48 cases, a 19% death rate from COVID).

Here’s the impressive thing: the average occupancy throughout the period was just 47 beds and it stayed pretty constant throughout the 32 week period. There are just 69 beds in the entire facility.

In other words, on average, everyone living there died, on average, every 4.2 days and they were immediately able to fill the empty beds every week.

This facility passed all the Medicare QA checks.

Single facilities like this with such large death numbers throws the aggregate data off.

And this was not the only example of a small facility with thousands of deaths in 2020!

To us Michael Malice’s line “factual but not truthful”.

We have a CPI that distorts inflation and more voters than are registered.  So why should we be surprised that other sources are “full of <synonym for excrement>”!

I don’t have any idea how to fix the problem other than to disbelieve anything reported.

How does that expression go:

“Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see.” ― Edgar Allan Poe
