‘Real Time’ host Bill Maher struck out at American celebrities who he said ‘kowtow’ to China on Friday night, including California-born Olympic skier Eileen Gu who is competing for China, her mother’s homeland, in this year’s Beijing Olympics. 

‘Is that cool now, to choose to represent a totalitarian police state over America,’ he asked, kicking off his monologue. 

‘The Olympics pretends to only be about sports but of course, the games have always been a bit of a proxy war for which country has the best system. 

‘And by choosing Team China, Eileen Gu became a living symbol of China’s triumph over the west, which wouldn’t bother me so much if I thought China had triumphed over us in the ways that really matter. But they haven’t.’

More and more, either I’m changing or Bill Maher is becoming more “libertarian”.

I was stunned that anyone would go over to China for the “genocide olympics”.

Give Bill Maher credit for calling out a “turncoat”.  Maybe that’s harsh.  But, I don’t understand the decision, unless it came with a big cash stipend.

Like my feelings about Piers Morgan, I am finding myself more and more agreeing with Bill Maher more and more.

I think that these politicians and bureaucrats who say “we are all in it together” are just peddling more “barbara streisand”!

I guess my views are becoming more into alignment with these guys calling the hypocrites out.

“Real Time” host Bill Maher returned from his holiday break Friday and took aim at liberals for their responses to and handling of the coronavirus pandemic. 

Along the way, the HBO host commented on U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, NBA player Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Maher kicked off the show’s panel discussion by listing all the COVID restrictions the United Kingdom is lifting from mask mandates to vaccine passports, saying “They’re getting back to normal, we should follow this.”

Unfortunately, it appears that Joe Biden is using sex & race as a critical criteria for deciding who to nominate for the Breyer’s replacement.

And, worse, when selections are made for “appearance”, then we wind up with a Justice like Sonia Sotomayor.  Virtually illiterate about the facts around Covid.

Hopefully the Senate will do it’s job and maybe administer an IQ test.

So, since I’ve been watching this train wreck unfold, I found: (1) the gal is NOT a 23 year old with a legitimate gripe; (2) she’s actually a political type; (3) contraception is freely available from Target two blocks from the school for 9$/month; (4) Rush apologized (sort of); (5) President Obama stoked the fire; just like his MO with the “beer summit”; and (6)  she’s enjoying her 15 minutes of fame.

So, just like I wrote in support of Don Imus, I wrote CARBONITE in SUPPORT of Rush. And will write to the others.

I’m not a Rush fan. I have listened him. He’s too “conservative” and supports the “warfare state” while he rails against the “welfare state”. But, he may have been a little dumb too. He should have suspect that this was a trap. But he fell for it. I would have to, but than I’m just a blogger; not a “trained broadcast professional”.

I’m outraged by the media’s selective outrage. The way they treated Sarah Palin. And, the lack of uproar when the “liberal” democratic operatives disguised as media commentators talked about Monica Crowley, Laura Ingram, and Michelle Malkin is biased. Some of those comments were a lot worse!
