Q. How do I know if this is safe?

A. Every new business faces trust issues when developing relations with first time customers. However, doing business with CashIntoCoins is incredibly safe. We are required by law to provide several forms of identification, when starting my business, opening new bank accounts, and sending and receiving money. To top it off, you get a cash receipt, from a FDIC insured bank, with lots of cameras and paperwork that link your cash to this busines specifically.

Bitcoins appears to be the real deal.

It certainly is a challenge to fiat currencies.

Orginially popular for SILKROAD and the drug culture, it’s now moved into the mainstream.

Overstock Dot Com has just legitimized it.

Now in addition to gold, silver, and nickels, you can save and diversify into bitcoins.

GOVERNACIDE: Stalin DID order the Katyn massacre; FDR covered it up

Monday, January 13, 2014

Stalin DID order the execution of 3,500 Polish soldiers according to newly discovered testimony of U.S. officer who watched Nazis exhume the bodies

U.S. researcher Krystyna Piorkowska found testimony from U.S. Lt Col John H Val Vliet from May 1945
In the statement he says he witnessed Nazis exhuming the bodies of 3,500 Polish soldiers killed under Stalin

Vliet’s testimony fuels speculation that the U.S. tried to cover up the genocide to keep the Soviets on their side for the end of the war

By ASSOCIATED PRESS
PUBLISHED: 02:12 EST, 9 January 2014 | UPDATED: 06:00 EST, 9 January 2014

*** begin quote ***

Another report that Van Vliet made a few days later in Washington is considered missing. This has fueled speculation that the U.S. government helped cover up Soviet responsibility for the massacre out of fear that saying the truth would anger Stalin, whom the Allies were counting on to help them defeat Germany and Japan in World War II.

*** begin quote ***

Ron Paul famously asked in his farewell address “Has anybody noticed that authorities can’t even keep drugs out of the prisons? How can making our entire society a prison solve the problem?” Of course the “prison approach” couldn’t ever solve the problem, it actually hasn’t insofar as it has been tried ($41 billion annually!), and it has brought with it a multitude of additional problems regarding civil liberties, drug safety, pricing, overdose and addiction rates. Perhaps an appropriate follow up to the question posed by the former congressman would be: how long will it take for society to realize the promise of the other option?

POLITICAL: More Than 2.1 Million People Had Their Insurance Canceled

Five Reasons 2.1 Million ‘Enrolled’ Is Not That Impressive
by JOHN SEXTON 1 Jan 2014

*** begin quote ***

3) More Than 2.1 Million People Had Their Insurance Canceled – Estimates vary on the number of people nationwide who had their insurance cancelled because of Obamacare. Some have suggested the number is between 4.5 and 6 million. Two weeks ago the Obama administration claimed that there were only 500,000 people who had lost insurance who had yet to gain it back. That number seemed low but it’s worth noting that, at least so far, no one has claimed they have closed that gap. In other words, even if you ignore point #2 and grant them 2.1 million, Obamcare is still a net loss in the number of people insured.

‘BLINDSIDED’ PRESIDENT: OBAMA’S LOOSE GRIP ON THE REINS OF STATE
by SCOT KENDALL 1 Jan 2014

*** begin quote ***

2013 was anything but a banner year for President Obama.

A peppering of failures and scandals marked the first year of the second term of the “most transparent administration in history.” These scandals came in a variety of shapes and sizes, but they all shared one prominent feature.

That is the amount of knowledge Obama claimed to have of them before they happened – none.

*** and ***

Let’s hope that 2014 sees the “blindsided” president (whom the GOP has called the “Bystander President”) learning from his mistakes and taking a more active role in the governance of his country and the doing of his job. As the year unfolds, we’ll all be keeping a close watch.

However, an audit by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released on Dec. 27 found that the SSA may not always know who is dead.

“SSA’s methods for processing death reports may result in inaccurate, incomplete, or untimely information for users of its death data,” noted the GAO. “Consequently, this could lead to improper payments if benefit-paying agencies rely on this data… Because SSA does not verify death reports from sources it considers most accurate, the agency risks having erroneous information in its death data, such as including living individuals or not including deceased individual.”

NFL Admits Refs Erred In Chiefs-Chargers Game As Blown Call Potentially Cost Steelers Playoff Spot

SAN DIEGO (CBS St. Louis/AP) — The NFL acknowledged that referees erred in not penalizing the San Diego Chargers for an illegal formation on a missed 41-yard field goal attempt by Ryan Succop of the Kansas City Chiefs with four seconds left in regulation on Sunday.

*** and ***

San Diego lined up with seven men on one side of the snapper, and NFL rules state no more than six players can be on the line of scrimmage on either side of the snapper.

The NFL said in a statement Monday that the penalty should have been called by referee Bill Leavy’s crew, moving the ball 5 yards closer to the end zone and giving Succop another attempt at the game-winning field goal. Succop was 15 of 16 this season from within 40 yards.

“The penalty for illegal formation by the defense is a loss of five yards. This rule is not subject to instant replay review. Had the penalty been assessed, it would have resulted in a fourth-and-7 from the San Diego 18 with 0:04 remaining, enabling the Chiefs to attempt a 36-yard field goal,” the NFL said in a statement to NFL.com.

My question is: “Why is it NOT reviewable?”

An internal VA audit released June 9, 2014 found that more than 120,000 veterans were left waiting or never got care and that schedulers were pressured to use unofficial lists or engage in inappropriate practices to make waiting times appear more favorable.

On June 11, 2014, the Federal Bureau of Investigation opened a criminal investigation of the VA.President Barack Obama ordered a White House investigation.

On June 27, 2014, Obama’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Rob Nabors, reported “significant and chronic system failures” and a “corrosive culture” inside the Veterans Health Administration.

VETERANS: Another big Gooferment program spin crash and burn

Friday, January 3, 2014

DOD/VA Seamless Transition Program Sputtered to a Halt – source Next.gov

After launching with much fanfare in 2009, the interagency program office charged with developing an integrated electronic health record (EHR) for the Defense and Veterans Affairs departments all but sputtered to a halt in September, Nextgov has learned. The development followed a decision by Defense and VA in February to independently develop their own EHRs, due to the high cost of the joint system, pegged at $28 billion by Frank Kendall, Defense undersecretary for acquisition, technology and logistics. Neither Defense nor VA formally announced the shutdown of the interagency program office. A hint of its demise can be found in an industry briefing that said Christopher Miller had assumed the role of acting director of the office, in addition to his role as program executive officer of the new Defense Healthcare Management Systems Modernization, charged with developing the Defense EHR.

Maureen Schumann, a Pentagon spokeswoman confirmed on November 18 to Nextgov that Barclay Butler, appointed director of the interagency program office in February 2012, left his job in September. Defense and VA are in the early stages of development of a revised charter and organizational chart of the office, Schumann added, and once completed, “the staffing for the IPO will be determined and announced.” While the office has been all but vaporized, both Defense and VA face the rather difficult task of finding a workaround to provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 that mandated a joint EHR. The two departments also need to figure out how to work their way around language in the 2014 VA spending bill that also mandates a single EHR, which could become law if Congress passes a 2014 budget.

US judge dismisses challenge to border laptop searches

The searches are rare and don’t require reasonable suspicion, a federal judge said
by Stephen Lawson

*** begin quote ***

U.S. Customs and Border Protection can search travelers’ laptops and other electronic devices without a show of reasonable suspicion, according to a federal judge’s dismissal of a 2010 lawsuit on Tuesday.

In its suit, the American Civil Liberties Union had argued that having border officials search the contents of a laptop violated the U.S Constitution unless the officials had a reasonable suspicion that the contents related to a crime. Judge Edward Korman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, in Brooklyn, disagreed and threw out the suit. The ACLU said an appeal is being considered.

“We’re disappointed in today’s decision, which allows the government to conduct intrusive searches of Americans’ laptops and other electronics at the border without any suspicion that those devices contain evidence of wrongdoing,” ACLU attorney Catherine Crump said in a press release from the organization. Crump argued the case in 2011.

JOBSEARCH: Your career may end at 40!

AlterNet / By Lynn Stuart Parramore
50 Is the New 65: Older Americans Are Getting Booted from Their Jobs — and Denied New Opportunities
Age discrimination could be headed for you, sooner than you think.

*** begin quote ***

In every corner of America, millions of people are terrified of losing their jobs and falling into financial ruin. Men and women with impressive professional achievements and credentials are being let go, nudged out and pushed aside. They are pounding the pavement and scouring the job sites, but find themselves turned away even for the most basic retail jobs. Not because they aren’t competent. Not because they lack skills. But simply because they have a gray hair or two.

This is not just a story of people in their 60s or 70s. Workers as young as 50 are shocked to find themselves suddenly tossed onto the employment rubbish heap, just when they felt on top of their game. They’re feeling stressed, angry and betrayed by a society which has benefited greatly from their contributions.

As the global population grows older, age discrimination is on the rise. It could be headed for you, much sooner than you think.

*** end quote ***

“I’m shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!” Captain Renault in Casablanca

Age-discrimination?

Stunning.

So what does society do about it?

Unfortunately, there is nothing to be “done”.

Folks have to:

* Realize that they must form their own businesses.

* Create “streams of earnings”. (Think 10 ½ day part time jobs!)

* Develop powerful personal networks. (Not just numbers people on Linkedin, Twitter, or Facebook!)

* Invest in themselves.

* Formulate their Plan B, Plan C, D, E, … Z.

* Refine their Unique Value Equations and the corresponding Unique Sales Propositions.

* And, about establish a ruthless financial discipline, that recognizes the expected delay in finding another paycheck, by increasing dramatically increasing “rainy day” savings. (Over 40, one must recognize that you may never find another job like the one you have at the money you are currently making.)

Now that last sentence is very scary.

You MUST know your BURN rate. You MUST become a MISER (Unless you never need to work again.) You MUST invest wisely and avoid stupid money mistakes.

And, most of all, you MUST have COURAGE!
