Why Everything You Know About World War II Is Wrong
Mike Whitney Interview with Ron Unz • June 12, 2023

Indeed, Flynn alleges that by late 1937, FDR had turned towards an aggressive foreign policy aimed at involving the country in a major foreign war, primarily because he believed that this was the only route out of his desperate economic and political box, a stratagem not unknown among national leaders throughout history. In his January 5, 1938 New Republic column, he alerted his disbelieving readers to the looming prospect of a large naval military build-up and warfare on the horizon after a top Roosevelt adviser had privately boasted to him that a large bout of “military Keynesianism” and a major war would cure the country’s seemingly insurmountable economic problems. At that time, war with Japan, possibly over Latin American interests, seemed the intended goal, but developing events in Europe soon persuaded FDR that fomenting a general war against Germany was the best course of action. Memoirs and other historical documents obtained by later researchers seem to generally support Flynn’s accusations by indicating that Roosevelt ordered his diplomats to exert enormous pressure upon both the British and Polish governments to avoid any negotiated settlement with Germany, thereby leading to the outbreak of World War II in 1939.

Here’s a pretty damning indictment of the WW2 history we’ve been fed.  Makes me wonder if ANYTHING we’ve been told or read is true.I know my uncles were CONVINCED that FDR setup Pearl Harbor to end the Great Depression.   When I mentioned it in my grammar school history lesson, the good Brother, a WW2 vet, whose name I don’t remember, didn’t say I was wrong but that it was “one opinion”.  Guess that began my cynicism and skepticism.

VOCABULARY: Federal Reserve and Debt — interest versus usury?

The Federal Reserve and Debt
Michael Hudson • September 17, 2022

Well, the question is, why do people go into debt? And there are two kinds of credit. And this goes all the way back to the church theologians in the 14th century. Ancient societies didn’t have any different word for interest and usury. All that was developed to overcome the church’s banning of interest for a 1,000 years, certainly among the clergy. And then the European takeoff began. And after the Crusades it was obvious that some kind of credit was necessary to finance foreign trade. And some people benefited from credit, so the church said, all right, if you’re making a loan, the debtor gains from it, then it’s interest, then its mutual gain. And usury is when the borrower doesn’t really receive a gain but has to pay the interest out of income that they earned elsewhere.

Interesting distinction?

So what is our current scenario?

Taxes are theft. And, they are usury to the extent we don’t benefit from them.

POLICY: Has the American Revolution / Experiment crashed?

How, When, Do We Come Together Again?
Pat Buchanan • August 16, 2022

*** begin quote ***

Nor is it only clashing morality that divides us.

For a nation, a country, a people, a democracy to endure, there needs be a broad consensus of belief, culture, custom and politics.

On the issue of law and order, without which a republic cannot stand, there is now disagreement over the role and conduct of our police.

Has the great experiment run its course?

*** end quote ***

Yes, inho

FROM LUDDITE:

Not sure it has “run its course yet”, but it surely can be seen on the horizon. Too bad, since it could have worked great indefinitely, I wonder what analysts will say at the end about what could have been done to keep it from failing?

True. I point to the killing of the black churches and families with LBJ’s “Great Society” welfare rules. It created 4 generations of welfare farmers.

Upon reflection, Brion McClanahan points to the “Civil War” aka “The War of Northern Aggression” as the transformation from A Federal Republic to a monolithic “identify nation”.  Hard to argue with him.  (His credentials are vastly superior to mine.) The downward spiral certainly started there and just kept sliding at an accelerating pace.  Destroyed the churches.  Destroyed the civil society.  Destroyed the mutual aid societies.

Sadly.

TINFOILHAT: A third explanation of Covid seems “possible”

A Thousand Times Greater Than the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster

Prof. Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University ranks as a pillar of the mainstream establishment and served as chairman of the influential Covid commission established by the Lancet, a leading medical journal. In May, he broke his silence and co-authored an article in the prestigious Proceedings of the American Academy of Sciences making the case that the virus was clearly artificial and calling for an independent investigation into its possible American origin.

*** and ***

The absolutely unmentionable subtext of the current discussion is the obvious possibility that the Covid virus was created in an American lab and then deliberately deployed against China and Iran just as the Iranian government had claimed at the time, eventually leaking back and devastating America and the rest of the West.

One can never discount the perfidy of the Gooferment.  Any Gooferment!

One might guess that China released it in China and Iran to “attack” the USA.  That is a “false flag”.

You can NEVER assume that anything is the truth.

So perhaps this will never move from the state of “possible”.

Sigh!

Trust no one; verify everything.
