FBI refuses to give Congress informant file alleging Biden took bribes as vice president

WASHINGTON — The FBI has refused to give Congress an informant file alleging that President Biden took bribes while he was vice president, The Post has learned — setting up a possible showdown over access to the information.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a legally binding subpoena last week requiring the FBI to turn over the file by noon Wednesday, but the bureau instead replied with a six-page letter raising various objections.

“Information from confidential human sources is unverified and, by definition, incomplete,” wrote FBI acting assistant director for congressional affairs Christopher Dunham, who also argued that informant reports must also be kept private to protect sources.

Who do these people think they work for?

Congress should IMMEDIATELY defund the FBI!

Suspend the salaries of the non-worker bees (i.e., leadership).

POLITICAL: Sorry DJT45, “you’re fired”

Tuesday, January 24, 2023

https://www.theburningplatform.com/2023/01/19/he-cant-undo-what-he-did/

HE CAN’T UNDO WHAT HE DID

He can spin it and rationalize and lie, but the vaccines are his baby. They failed miserably and are now killing and maiming millions. The blood of vaccine victims are on his hands. This fake pandemic was never going to be like 1917. He locked down the country. He kept Fauci and Birx as his top advisors. Trump can’t weasel his way out of what he did.

Jeffrey A Tucker @jeffreyatucker

This is simply incredible. He is criticizing Florida for locking down when the truth is that 1) he ordered lockdowns nationwide, 2) blasted Georgia for being the first to open, and 3) dismissed and criticized Sweden the whole time!

# – # – # – # – #

I think back to the Apprentice TV show.  Pre-presidential DJT at the end of one show, he sympathized with one of the contestants and reviewed how he failed and what he might have done.  Then ended with the classic line: “You’re Fired!”

So too, DJT45 has to own his role in the national Covid disaster.  I can sympathize that “everyone” was in a panic, he got bad advice from characters who had a hidden agenda to see him fail as well as a financial motivation for everyone getting the Jab.  But, as a NYC builder, he should have been much more savvy.

So, DJT45, “You’re Fired”.

Go to the sidelines and help the country avoid future disasters.

If I were you I’d urge ending the CDC, the FDA, the FBI, the CIA, and DHS.  Become this era’s Andrew Jackson.

RANT: Never speak to law enforcement without an attorney and a video recorder

Key Takeaways from the FBI Whistleblowers Report
By Charles Sullivan

3. The FBI simply cannot be trusted, and anyone who is being questioned by them must use extreme caution. As the prominent attorney Harmeet Dhillon has recommended, “never speak to the FBI without your attorney present, and never speak to the FBI without making an audio or video recording of the entire conversation.”

Goes without saying.

TINFOILHAT: Where is James Gordon Meek?

ABC Journalist James Gordon Meek Still Missing After FBI Raided His Home in April

  • Meek covered many sensitive topics in his career. Did he come across something that frightened the government?

Posted by Mary Chastain Monday, October 24, 2022 at 07:00am

*** begin quote ***

In April, the FBI raided ABC investigative journalist James Gordon Meek’s apartment. People “believe the raid is among the first — and quite possibly, the first — to be carried out on a journalist by the Biden administration.”

Are we in China?

No one knows for sure why the FBI targeted Meek, who once worked as a senior counterterrorism advisor and investigator for the House Homeland Security Committee.

No one has seen or talked to Meek since the raid.

Believe it or not, Rolling Stone broke the story five days ago. John Antonelli described the raid at the Arlington, VA, apartment complex. It sounds like something right out of a movie, someone who committed a vicious crime:

*** and ***

Could the raid have anything to do with Meek’s last tweet? It implied that we have been helping Ukraine much more than the administration told us. In fact, the help has been happening since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014.

Meek’s last tweet:

Actually, it started long time ago…we learned this between 2014-2022. Not just now. It was an 8 year lab experiment on Russian TTPs. On EW. On everything. This is why Ukrainians (with our advise/assist) r doing so well. Ask those in IC and UW communities. We learned a shit ton.

*** and ***

The White House press corps should ask Karine Jean-Pierre about Meek every day. Every administration official should be asked about Meek when addressing reporters.

Where is James Gordon Meek?

*** end quote ***

Will we EVER get an answer?  Just how out of control is the Gooferment?

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: FBI framed Trump and should be abolished

Utter proof the FBI framed Trump and shielded Hunter
By Andrew C. McCarthy

*** begin quote ***

More to the point, though, that the FBI offered to pay such an exorbitant sum in hopes Steele’s anti-Trump claims could be backed up is proof positive the bureau knew these claims were not verified.

That is key. The rules of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and the Justice Department mandate the FBI must verify information before submitting it to the court in applying for surveillance warrants. Even though it could not prove the Steele allegations and had every reason to know they were exaggerated if not out-and-out false, the FBI relied on the Steele claims in sworn applications.

It gets worse. The FBI obtained FISC surveillance warrants to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in October 2016 and mid-January 2017, representing to the court that Trump appeared to be in a corrupt conspiracy with the Kremlin. Finally, in late January, the FBI interviewed Danchenko, who debunked Steele’s reporting. Nevertheless, even after speaking with Danchenko, the bureau continued relying on Steele’s allegations when — again under oath — it persuaded the court to extend the surveillance in April and June 2017.

*** and ***

Of course, what the FBI didn’t mention was that what Danchenko had been “truthful and cooperative” about was the fact Steele’s claims were sheer nonsense. Thus, FISC judges were led to believe Danchenko had verified Steele’s reporting when the truth was just the opposite.

*** end quote ***

So when do we disband the FBI? And, send people to jail!

Argh!

Specifically, all those that testified and swore in the FISA courts should be convicted.

If they are lawyers, disbarred.

Starbucks may hire them.

Absolutely disgraceful.

And no one in DC is on the war path!

All It Takes Is One Hero
By J.B. Shurk

*** begin quote ***

No matter how dark things get, all it takes is one hero to push back. Heroes, after all, are not remembered for following the crowd; they emerge because they run in the opposite direction, often into known danger, and spur others to stop, turn around, and act. It is always the lone voice that inspires a people to rise against the injustices of any age. It is the stubborn persistence of the few who marshal real change. It is the resolute among us who peer at the raging inferno without fear. It is the wise who remember that every waterfall begins with just one drop of rain. It is the hopeful who can look around at today’s chaos and see clearly the opportunity for great change.

Who will it be?

Where are our Patrick Henry’s, Nathan Hales’, or John Paul Jones?

Joe Rogan?  Dave Smith?  Michael Malice?

We certainly need one.

TINFOILHAT: The FBI obstructed the investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop — Credibility Level 3. More likely than not

Biden Administration
FBI Official Accused of Shutting Down Hunter Biden Probe Was ‘Running Point’ on Key Witness
Chuck Ross • September 2, 2022 4:59 am

*** begin quote ***

A former FBI official who allegedly shut down part of the investigation into Hunter Biden was “running point” in the bureau’s dealings with a key witness in the probe, according to sources directly familiar with the matter.

The witness, Tony Bobulinski, now has concerns that the former official, Timothy Thibault, helped bury information about his dealings with the Biden family that he gave the FBI, sources told the Washington Free Beacon. Thibault retired from the FBI last week amid allegations from whistleblowers that he shut down an investigation into an avenue of “derogatory” information about Hunter Biden in October 2020. Senate Republicans began scrutinizing Thibault earlier this year over anti-Trump rhetoric he posted on social media.

It had been unclear what role Thibault played in the Biden investigation, which began in 2018. But his oversight of Bobulinski means he oversaw one of the most significant witnesses to come forward with information about the Bidens’ business links to China. The FBI interviewed Bobulinski for five hours on Oct. 23, 2020, after Bobulinski publicly disputed Joe Biden’s claim to have never discussed business with his son. Bobulinski said he met with Hunter and Joe Biden in May 2017 to discuss a multimillion-dollar deal with CEFC China Energy, a Chinese energy conglomerate with ties to Chinese military intelligence. The California-based businessman also said Joe Biden is “the big guy” referenced in cryptic emails discussing equity payments from their business deals.

“In my hour-long meeting with Joe Biden we discussed Biden family business dealings with the Chinese, with which he was plainly familiar,” Bobulinski said at a press conference before his FBI interview. Text messages show Bobulinski and Hunter Biden arranging a meeting with Joe Biden at the Beverly Hills Hilton. Emails from Biden’s abandoned laptop show extensive discussions about CEFC China Energy.

Seems “3. More likely than not” that the FBI agents obstructed any investigation into the Hunter Biden’s Laptop as evidence of foreign corruption of the Biden Administration.

POLITICAL: Time to dismantle the FBI

Law
Where is the FBI’s Rubicon? After the Mar-a-Lago raid, when will the public stop standing for this?
August 12, 2022 | 10:13 am
By Roger Kimball
Roger Kimball is the editor and publisher of the New Criterion, publisher of Encounter Books and a Spectator columnist and contributing editor.

*** begin quote ***

Everyone knows that in January 49 BC Julius Caesar, about to lead part of his army across the Rubicon river, said “Alea iacta est,” “the die is cast.” Except that, according to Plutarch, what he really said was “Ἀνερρίφθω κύβος,” “let the die be cast,” and he did not so much say it as quote it, since the already-proverbial line came from the Greek playwright Menander. Anyway, in bringing an army across the stream that separated cis-Alpine Gaul from Italy proper, Caesar had committed treason. In crossing the Rubicon he had crossed a line, sparking the civil war that engulfed Rome and formalized the end of the Republic that had, as Caesar himself noted, been dead in all-but-name-only for decades.

Contemplating the recent actions of our secret police, known to some as the FBI, I have often wondered where to locate their Rubicon. Was it when they conducted a dawn raid against Roger Stone, having been careful to alert CNN beforehand so they could be on hand to publicize the attack? Maybe it was when they burst into the apartment of Project Veritas’s James O’Keefe, throwing him out in the hallway in his pajamas, while they ransacked his home looking for a diary kept by Joe Biden’s daughter? Or perhaps it was when they arrested former Trump aide Peter Navarro, throwing him in handcuffs and leg irons before depositing him in jail? Or when they accosted the lawyer John Eastman and confiscated his cell phone? That seems to have become a favorite pastime of the FBI, seizing people’s cell phones. Just a couple of days ago, they took Representative Scott Perry’s phone. “But,” you point out, “Perry is a Republican and Trump ally. He has no property rights.”

*** and ***

But the question remains: will the American people accept that the FBI has become the Praetorian Guard for the regime? I don’t know. I hope not. Harvey Silverglate is right: given its history of lawless behavior, “it is remarkable that no sitting president has moved to abolish the FBI.” Of course, it won’t happen on Biden’s, er, watch (or during his naps). But one way or another, the FBI must be dismantled. “We need an entirely new agency,” as Silverglate observed, “and a director who has no history of having worked in or with the FBI. Agency culture is a powerful force, and if we are to have any success in ridding the nation of this menace, we best eradicate it completely and start over.”

“Eradicate it completely and start over.” I couldn’t agree more. Will this partisan assault on a once (and possibly future) president be the Rubicon we’ve been waiting for? Let’s see.

*** end quote ***

It has definitely crossed the line and demonstrated that it’s now a political tool.  That’s what the Dead Old White Guys feared most — “private militias”.  Rogue “law enforcement”.  Tyrants with their “standing armies”.

It’s up to the next President and Congress to tear this agency down and, where important and salvageable, move components to appropriate places.

#endthefbi

The Federal Gooferment needs to return to it’s very limited nightwatchman’s role.

It does that by eleimating whole Departments.  Education and Agriculture come immediately to mind.  Followed by the FDA, CDC, BATF, Homeland Security, and even the Department of Energy.

POLITICAL: Ron Paul has been proven right time and again

Thursday, August 18, 2022

https://mailchi.mp/ronpaulinstitute/ronright?e=50cfeec56e

Covid RIP… and Ron Paul was Right.

*** begin quote ***

So yes, Dr. Paul was prescient in 1988 when he warned about the FBI as a political weapon – as we’ve seen it again used this week against a former US President. But he also simply understood the truth about the nature of government: that the more of it we have, the more temptation for the elites to bend power to better fulfill their end-goal of total control. Politics is about power. It is war by other means.

In a similar vein, and almost under the radar, the CDC just announced that everything they had been demanding and telling us for the past two plus years has been a lie. It doesn’t matter if you stand six feet away from people, it doesn’t matter if you are vaccinated or unvaccinated. You don’t need to quarantine. Kids can stay in school if someone around them has contracted the ‘rona.

The CDC and the thugs around them are pretending that this is something new, that they suddenly understand “the Science” better. They will not admit that they were lying and manipulating all along in pursuit of power and money.

But Ron Paul understood from day one. He saw what was coming and he put it all on the line to fight the totalitarian tide. He wasn’t armed with a crystal ball. He was armed with an understanding of truth: Power corrupts.

*** end quote ***
