On November 3, Virginia voters will decide whether to amend the state constitution to establish a fundamental right to reproductive freedom, including abortion. Virginia already permits third-trimester abortions when continuing the pregnancy poses a serious threat to the mother’s life or health. What the amendment would change is the legal standard. Instead of requiring three physicians to certify a substantial and irremediable threat to health, the amendment would protect abortions that a single physician considers medically indicated to protect physical or mental health, without defining a minimum level of impairment. It would also place these protections in the Virginia Constitution, making them much harder for future lawmakers to change.

As ususal, the Gooferment is inserting itself into murky moral waters.  It appears that the amendment is fatally flawed by what it hides and fails to define.

Luckily, I’ve been out of VA for a while so I won’t face this moral quandary.

For me, it’s easy clean and simple.  Life begins at conception.  Being pro-life and pro-choice, I think the Gooferment has a very small role in this process.  We, as a society, should believe that the “human rights” inure to the baby (i.e., fetus just confounds the issue). Period!

Why should we have an FDA, and a CDC, for that matter, if like the Keystone Kops allude to in the article, the can’t find their <synonym for donkey> in brightly lit room.

Of course, the same criticism goes for the TSA that can’t find test bombs.  And, a slew of other Gooferment “agencies” who, in addition to being unConstitutional, also fail at what we commonly believe is their mission (i.e., protect the inhabitants of the USA).

The fixation on backyard chickens, raw milk, masking rituals, playground closures, or endlessly sanitized consumer guidance is not primarily about reducing the largest drivers of disease and death. If it were, public health agencies would spend far more time confronting the catastrophic consequences of ultra-processed food, metabolic dysfunction, pharmaceutical overprescribing, hospital-acquired infections, sedentary lifestyles, environmental toxicity, and the economic incentives that quietly fuel chronic disease.

It would seem that until “We, The Sheeple” recognize that “court intellectuals” are just Gooferment propaganda dressed up in a white coat of a doctor or scientist.  

How can they DEMAND health improvements in the things that cause real harm?

It seems to me that honest measurements taken by real people are the answer.

Where did we find the honest answers about the clot shot?  The morticians reporting long fiberous coagulated blood clots in the dead. The few honest doctors who were silenced for calling <synonym for excrement from a male cow> on masks and social 6’ distancing that were lessons from the Spanish Flu Epidemic.  Bloggers, podcasters, and individuals  who reported and tracked data.

Argh!

And, what did we get from the Gooferment?  Misinformation, disinformation, and wealth transfer from the poor and middle class to Big Pharma, politicians, and bureaucrats.

Argh!

We have to focus on the results that we can see:  almost everyone’s obese, real food if available is hideously expensive, illegal immigration is draining resources, welfare is creating a fourth generation of “welfare farmers”,  crime is out of control with many relating offenders, and —  by the way —  children can’t read or do simple math. 

So we have to start holding politicians and bureaucrats accountable for results; not promises.

Sometimes we can’t worry about “insurance coverage” and let that dictate our health choices. This lady spent a few bucks and saved her own life. Remember the Gooferment is not your “Guardian Angel” (i.e., the clot shot recommendation; the old “food pyramid”; red dye number 3 thru whatever).

… … gives me three new words to add to my vocabulary.

  • Copium ==> to deal with a state of denial
  • Hopium ==> to have false hope
  • Mopium ==> to complain about mundane issues

Useage: 

  • I use copium to handle all the Epstein fodder.
  • I take hopium that all the villains in the Epstein matter get justice.
  • I use mopium to complain about all the politicians and bureaucrats obfuscating about Epstein.

Three good new words.

But what do the Medical Guilds have to say about mandates and informed consent?

In its Code of Medical Ethics, the American Medical Association states:

“Informed consent in medical treatment is fundamental in both ethics and law. Patients have the right to receive information and ask questions about recommended treatments so that they can make well-considered decisions about care. Successful communication in the patient-physician relationship fosters trust and supports shared decision making.”

Fundamental in both ethics and law. But apparently there is an unwritten and unspoken vaccines mandate exemption.

Hard for anyone who has read about the WWII horrific “medical experiments” conducted in Germany, Japan, and the USA.  

The Tuskegee Experiment, officially known as the Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male, was a unethical study conducted from 1932 to 1972 by the U.S. Public Health Service, which observed the effects of untreated syphilis on African American men without their informed consent and without providing them treatment, even after effective medication became available

“Informed Consent” and a complete prohibition on Gooferment “research” is the only answer.

Maybe when I’m “king”, I can sign an “executive order” to mandate such.
