Initial thought was to disagree, like what to do? Like the colleges? Nah. Plus the games are too long as it is. But on second thought, maybe “just” for the playoffs change the rules? Open to suggestions. It is “win or go home” time!

Well I can think of at least three “rules” that could have a “better” way:
(1) Current rules, but both teams get to possess the ball equally.
(1a) Bills should get a possession to score a touchdown too. And, that continues until someone “loses”.
(1b) Less preferred, the Bills are guaranteed only one possession.
(2) Even less preferred, the team, that scores a certain number first in regular play, wins.
(3) Most less preferred, the team, that scores the tying number in regular play, wins.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court heard arguments concerning the City of Boston’s refusal to allow a private organization to fly a Christian flag on a flagpole next to City Hall that was routinely made available to any private organization that applied to do so. The case is Shurtleff v. City of Boston.

The conservative Justices seemed likely to rule against the City. Justice Gorsuch pointed out that the City was “treat[ing] religious viewpoints the equivalent of offensive or inappropriate ones.” Justice Thomas reacted to the City of Boston’s claim that it was celebrating diversity by allowing other nations’ flags to fly by pointing out, “it would seem to me that Christians in Boston would be a part of that diversity calculus.”
Even Justice Kagan suggested that “this was a mistake” by the Boston bureaucrat who denied the application. She wondered why the City had not settled the case with the plaintiffs.
These and other statements suggest that the Court isn’t buying Boston’s arguments. Hopefully that proves to be true when the Supreme Court’s decision is issued. For too long, too many government bureaucrats have been hostile to Christianity and its symbols. A victory in this case for the plaintiffs would do much to reverse that trend.

While I have no real problem with SCOTUS smacking down the Boston bureaucrats, I wonder why the flag pole is there at all.
It serves no legitimate public purpose other than making work for the politicians and bureaucrats.
Also, I don’t think Churches should fly the Gooferment’s flag EVER.
In the old days, “the Church” was a power that kept the King in check. Today, it’s like a rubber stamp for the Gooferment.
We need more protection from the tyranny of the Big Deep State and its politicians and bureaucrats.

I’m vaccinated, boosted, glued, screwed, and tattooed. But I’m also 62 with a heart stent and too many extra pounds, so I had to weigh the arguments on both sides. I decided for me it was more prudent to get the vaccination and risk the side effects than it was to risk getting a serious case of Covid.
But there is no way in hell I’d recommend that my 10 year old nephew get vaccinated. The long term effects from the vaccine on a developing body are unknown, and the consequences of him getting Covid for a third time, (he’s already had it twice,) are extremely low.

This anti-vax group is small but effective: According to a separate report issued by the CCDH, up to 65 percent of online anti-vaccine content is produced by just 12 individuals.
The thing is, these anti-vaxxers don’t necessarily speak for the millions of regular people—a.k.a. the “vaccine hesitant”—who, like Allen, aren’t pushing an agenda. They simply have questions and concerns. “I worry about vaccine safety,” says Allen. “Because I don’t trust medical professionals not to injure me or my child.”

From the earliest days of the COVID pandemic, the PCR test has been a source of unrelenting controversy, with experts repeatedly pointing out that it’s not a valid diagnostic and produces inordinate amounts of false positives.
Importantly, a PCR test cannot distinguish between “live” viruses and inactive (noninfectious) viral particles. This is why it cannot be used as a diagnostic tool. As explained by Dr. Lee Merritt in her August 2020 Doctors for Disaster Preparedness1 lecture, media and public health officials appear to have purposefully conflated “cases” or positive tests with the actual illness in order to create the appearance of a pandemic.
Furthermore, a PCR test cannot confirm that SARS-CoV-2 is the causative agent for clinical symptoms as the test cannot rule out diseases caused by other bacterial or viral pathogens. The inventor of the PCR test, Kary Mullis, who won a Nobel Prize for his work, explains this in the video above.
Almost universally, health authorities have also instructed labs to use excessively high cycle thresholds (CTs) — i.e., the number of amplification cycles used to detect RNA particles — thereby ensuring a maximum of false positives.

Why aren’t we hearing more about these people — what do they eat, what shape are they in, where do they “fit” chemically?
I’ve been convinced for a long time that the “experts” don’t know squat about this.
