Fentanyl – Which Candidate Can End the Scourge?
Trump and Harris place the blame and solution in different places.
John Klar — Sep 18, 2024
*** begin quote ***
Among the odd exchanges between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris at their first and perhaps only debate before Election Day was a dispute over who would better protect Americans from the growing scourge of illegal substances, especially fentanyl. This issue is of top concern to millions of Americans who have suffered the loss of a loved one to this deadly drug, largely imported from Mexico. How will these candidates measure up for this demographic in November?
As Americans weigh the respective offerings of the 2024 party platforms, differing prescriptions for abortion, economic growth, foreign policy, and border security vie for favoritism among voters. The irreversible, life-changing trauma of losing a child, parent, or sibling to pernicious fentanyl or other opioids is, for many, an issue of the highest priority – cutting across party loyalties and hardly confined to undecided independents.
*** end quote ***
As a little L libertarian, and having lost a family member to drugs and raising a child injured by per-natal drug use, I think and believe that the the Gooferment must admit it is powerless to “solve” the problem. “They” can’t keep drugs out of prison so how do they expect to do it in a free society? My “solution” is to let the free market operate. Walmart, Walgreens, and Amazon will make the “illegal drugs” clean, safe, and cheap. Then, we can focus all the wealth wasted of “prohibition” on making resources available to those who want to get “clean”. Will people still die from “drugs”? Absolutely! But they won’t be “accidental” from fentanyl in their heroin. Sorry to be the bearer of “bad news”, but it’s completely out of our control what free people can put in their own bodies. Let’s make addiction as “safe” as possible.

What We Don’t Know About Kamala’s Gun Ownership
By Cam Edwards | 4:30 PM | September 21, 2024

So, we still don’t know much about Harris’ handgun, if it actually exists. Even if she doesn’t want to give free advertising to a particular gun company, there are still plenty of things she could tell us about her gun ownership, including:
None of these are “gotcha” questions. If Harris really is a gun owner, they should all be easy to answer.

Update on the Amish Approach to Covid
As a result of my challenges, journal makes multiple corrections to scientific article

Can Data From Federally-Funded Study Be Kept Hidden?
In response to my request to see study supporting materials, data, and communications, which the public owns since it was a taxpayer-funded study (and the tenets of solid science require transparency so that any findings can be replicated), West Virginia University stalled and then eventually provided only heavily-redacted materials that revealed very little except that several other observers had also questioned the study.
According to Springer Nature, “Journal of Religion and Health has a research data policy which encourages authors to publish data in a public repository where possible, but does not require that they do so.”
The National Science Foundation, which used US taxpayer money to fund the questioned study, provided no meaningful information when asked.
*** and ***
And, most important of all, why were the most significant takeaways of international interest seemingly ignored including that the researchers found no evidence that the Amish suffered more harm for not having shut down schools, businesses and church; for not isolating, masking or social distancing; for not Covid testing and vaccinating; and for not having spent a great deal of public funds on various measures.
*** end quote ***
I hope, that among the many things that DJT promises to change, the “liberation” for Federally-Funded Study Data is madated.
We already know that there is a cover up of the disastrous effects of the Covid “vaccine”. That’s no surprise. What is surprising is that the Amish stayed open and true to their beliefs and demonstrated that there wasn’t any adverse impact.

Boy Given 1% Chance of Survival Walks 5k for Hospital That Saved Him–After Air Rifle Shot to the Head as Baby
By Good News Network – Sep 8, 202
*** begin quote ***
Harry Studley was just 18-months-old when a 24-year-old neighbor was cleaning his air rifle in 2016 and aimed it at the crying toddler, saying he thought it was unloaded. The pellet lodged in Harry’s brain causing a displaced skull fracture, as well as swelling and bleeding on the brain.
Harry was given a one percent chance of survival, but pulled through. He was left with serious conditions, though, and still suffers epilepsy, partial blindness, weakness, and some cognitive issues.
*** end quote ***
Why, in Heaven’s name, would you ever aim a gun at a toddler — FOR ANY REASON?
The fact that this occurred in the “gun control” UK is astonishing.
First rule of gun safety is that they are ALWAYS to be pointed in a safe direction. Second, they are always treated as if they are loaded and ready to fire.
Growing up, (mostly) boys brought guns to school as part of a shooting team. Guess in the name of “gun control”, now children don’t learn about these tools and the safety rules.

Clearly only 2 things happened before last night’s presidential debate…
Either Kamala’s best friends who run ABC gave her all the questions in advance of the debate…
Or Team Kamala gave the questions they wanted asked to ABC.
I told President Trump the exact same thing last night, right after the debate. What happened last night wasn’t normal. More importantly, Kamala’s debate performance wasn’t possible- not without a lot of help from her friends.
*** and ***
I told him he won- because no matter how negative the questions, no matter how vicious and biased the moderators, no matter how hateful Kamala was…in the end, all that matters, all that will resonate…are the four issues most middle class Americans care about…
And you won on those four issues all night long: the economy, inflation, crime and the open border disaster.
That’s it. That’s all that matters. And you won on those four issues. Most Americans are with you. All the rest is B.S. and will be forgotten.
*** and ***
*Who is really running the country?
*Why did you lie to the American people about Biden’s deteriorating mental health?
*Inflation is killing American families. It was close to -0- when you took over. What did you do wrong?
*Why do you support giving citizenship to every illegal alien and free healthcare to all of them, while taking away private healthcare from American citizens?
*Do you feel responsible for all the women and children murdered by illegal aliens you and Biden welcomed into our country?
*Do you see Venezuelan prison gangs taking over entire blocks of U.S. cities?
*Why do you support letting transgender illegal aliens into our country, and asking US taxpayers to pay for their sex change operations?
*Why are you and Biden against free speech? Why do you order censorship of conservatives and critics?
*You say you support women’s rights, so why do you want boys to play women’s sports, and take away scholarships from girls?
*You say Trump incited an insurrection, but didn’t you do exactly that by egging on BLM rioters, and trying to raise money to bail out BLM criminals, rioters, looters and torchers?

Quick-thinking 4-year-old Girl Uses Alexa to Call for Help as Mom Suffers Epileptic Seizure
By Andy Corbley – Sep 5, 2024
*** begin quote ***
When Lyla Leathem saw her mom collapse into an epileptic seizure, she remained calm and knew just what to do.
She knew she was supposed to call her great-grandmother—but her mom Leah’s phone was locked. The four-year-old ran upstairs and asked Amazon Alexa to make the call instead.
Mother Leah Bigg had fallen unwell at her home in Somerset on August 25th. Family members had previously shown Lyla how to use Alexa for phone calls as her mom often suffers from seizures at night which can be life-threatening. But they had no idea the youngster had listened—until she was called into action.

Sharp that a four year old could take action; most wouldn’t have the capability of finding an alternative.

Blue pigeon mystifies town’s residents

*** begin quote ***
Several sightings of a blue pigeon wandering around a town’s streets have baffled residents.
The bird has been photographed by a number of people in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Some locals insisted the bird’s unique plumage looked natural.
But wildlife experts suggested it could have been dyed for a gender-reveal party – a tradition where expectant couples learn the sex of their baby using pink or blue items.
*** and ***
Rebecca Machin, from the RSPCA’s wildlife team, warned dye could cause birds health problems, impair their ability to fly and make them more vulnerable to predators.
“Dye and paints can be toxic to birds and other animals, and they would be likely to try to clean any such substance from their coat or feathers which could result in them swallowing it,” she said.
She also said she feared social media trends could be fuelling the behaviour.
“We suspect this pigeon’s feathers have been painted – something we seem to be hearing about more and more, including – anecdotally – at events like gender reveal parties,” she said.

Kamala Harris Vows Death Tax Increase
Meagan Dean | Sep 06, 2024
*** begin quote ***
Vice President Kamala Harris is on record in support of a Death Tax hike, including plans to impose a second Death Tax by taking away stepped-up basis when parents die.
Harris’ plans to increase the Death Tax are yet another example of the candidate’s willingness to punish hardworking Americans for their success, this time punitively hitting families experiencing the death of a loved one.
Under current law, the cost basis of assets passing directly to heirs receives a “step-up” to its fair market value. Without stepped-up basis, family-owned businesses would be stranded with a massive tax on unrealized gains after the passing of the owner.
Harris has not been shy in taking ownership of Biden-Harris FY 2025 budget, noting in a March post on X that the budget plan was jointly put forward by her and President Joe Biden.

The 1-year-old began turning blue after swallowing a Dorito around 7:40 p.m. Sunday in one of the jail’s visitation areas, where his mom, Savanah Webb, had just finished seeing an inmate.

Tayler Hansen Loses YouTube Account Days After He Is Mentioned in a DOJ Indictment as the Victim of an Alleged Crime

On Wednesday, the Biden-Harris Regime announced it was launching a “whole government action” to purge so-called ‘Russian propaganda’ and ‘disinformation’ ahead of the 2024 election.
Biden accused Russia of a sustained effort to influence the upcoming election, according to CNN and NBC News.
Then, on Wednesday afternoon, the Department of Justice announced that employees from Russia Today’s media outlet had invested in a $10 million scheme to create and distribute content to U.S. audiences with hidden Russian government messaging.
Crooked AG Merrick Garland announced, “The Justice Department will not tolerate attempts by an authoritarian regime to exploit our country’s free exchange of ideas in order to covertly further its own propaganda efforts, and our investigation into this matter remains ongoing.”

According to the Biden DOJ, the RT employees set up Tenet Media, a media startup company linked to conservative heavyweights Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, Dave Rubin, Lauren Southern, and Tayler Hanson.
These leading conservative talkers quickly condemned the allegations by Joe Biden’s lawless DOJ.
But the damage was done, and the DOJ tied these prominent conservatives to their latest “Russian scandal.”
It didn’t take long before these conservatives, despite being innocent, were targeted by the social media elites.
On Friday, YouTube banned Tayler Hansen’s account. Tayler had hundreds of videos of his undercover work over the years. Now it is gone. They don’t even warn you so you can save your videos!

After Police Didn’t Take it Seriously He Exposed an International Bike Theft Ring on His Own
By Andy Corbley – Aug 30, 202
*** begin quote ***
As one might imagine, the police in counties like Sonoma, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz didn’t listen to him. “We’re not Interpol” they would say.
*** and ***
Hance had been clued into the Colorado bike smuggling ring with a Modus Operandi extremely similar to that of the one he believed was behind the thefts all over California, but was even more bold—bike thieves at one point smashed through the front of a bike shop with a van, loaded up the van with a dozen bikes, and drove off.
As to the California smugglers, Hance believes the man at the end of the trail is operating out of Jalisco, and Hance’s sleuthing turned up perhaps the chief fence on this side of the border. Victoriano Romero—who was then subsequently raided by police and found to be in possession of bikes similar to ones reported stolen on Bike Index, along with $200,000 cash in a strongbox in his San Jose auto shop.
The arrest of Romero hasn’t disrupted the network, and Hance still sees that the Jalisco seller routinely offers high-end bikes for sale on his social media pages: accessible only because Hance uses a VPN to funnel his connection through Mexico.

Maybe the politicians and bureaucrats of Sonoma, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz should put Brian Hance in as their Police Commissioner?

ABC’s David Muir Lied About Crime Falling Under Biden-Harris
John R. Lott, Jr. | Sep 11, 2024
*** begin quote ***
DAVID MUIR: “President Trump, as you know, the FBI says overall violent crime is coming down in this country, …”
In fact, Trump was correct about the increase in crime under Biden. While violent crime fell by 17 percent under Trump, Biden has seen it rise by 43 percent.
Muir doesn’t understand what the FBI is measuring. The FBI counts the number of crimes reported to police. Trump was right that less than half of police departments are now giving that data to the FBI, but, more importantly, Trump was discussing what was happening to total crime, not just the number of crimes reported to police.
There are two measures of crime: One, the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), counts the number of crimes reported to police yearly.
The other, the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Crime Victimization Survey, asks about 240,000 people each year whether they have been victims of crime, in an attempt to measure both reported and unreported crimes.
We know that crime victims report only about 40 percent of violent crimes and 30 percent of property crimes to police.

Elon Musk’s Starlink Offers Free Emergency Phone Coverage in Wilderness Areas Worldwide
By Andy Corbley – Sep 2, 2024

The satellite internet service Starlink is seeking approval to facilitate 911 calls from wilderness areas to help improve search and rescue efforts and reduce deaths.
Elon Musk’s satellite constellation has served a variety of publicized uses, like giving Ukrainians the ability to communicate during wartime. The most recent is a partnership between Starlink and T-Mobile seeking FCC regulatory approval for a direct-to-cellular service that would allow those deep in the mountains and forests to reach emergency services.
“SpaceX Starlink will provide emergency services access for mobile phones for people in distress for free,” Musk wrote on his social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
“This applies worldwide, subject to approval by country governments. Can’t have a situation where someone dies because they forgot, or were unable to pay for it.”
Direct-to-cellular functions would have a greater scope than just emergencies. Speaking about their application to the FCC, the chairwoman of the regulatory agency referred to it as the beginning of the “Single-network future” which she described as one in which the user “won’t need to think about what network, where, and what services are available; connections will just work everywhere, all the time.”

Spanish supermarket shoppers using pineapples to search for love in surprising new craze

The crowd quickly dispersed when officers arrived, and no one was arrested in the incident.
