TINFOILHAT: The WuFlu came from that lab and the USA paid to support it

Don’t Try to Tell Me the Wuhan Virus Didn’t Come from a Wuhan Lab

*** begin quote ***

It was February 2020 when a friend of mine who is from that part of the world and who would know, shared with me the likelihood that the Wuhan virus came from a Wuhan lab. It made sense to me. Fast forward nearly a year and a half later, I’m even more so convinced of the likelihood, and I am suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. To their credit, the Washington Examiner on Friday reported extensively on this issue, in multiple pieces, featuring those who are asking the right questions.

TECHNOLOGY: Yet Another “technology” abuse, hack, or immorality?

Sunday, May 9, 2021

“Wise guy figures out a way to park free on college campus but it’s kind of a d-ck move.” In short: guy buys a fake charger plug to make his Jeep look like an EV to get free parking. It’s sadly a total d-ck move because he’s leaving EV owners without a charger, but …I offer a respectful nod at the hustle (Jalopnik).

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: No “whites” need apply?

Wisconsin dairy farmer with two prosthetic legs sues Biden administration over ‘racist’ COVID relief plan that disqualifies him because he is white

  • Adam Faust is a plaintiff in the suit filed in federal court in Green Bay last week
  • At issue is loan forgiveness program in Biden’s COVID-19 stimulus package
  • Non-white farmers are eligible for the program, but white farmers are not
  • Faust, who has two prosthetic legs, argues that the program is racist

The group of plaintiffs joining the lawsuit to challenge the program includes farmers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and Ohio.

The suit contends that excluding white farmers from the program amounts to a violation of the plaintiffs’ constitutional rights.

‘Were plaintiffs eligible for the loan forgiveness benefit, they would have the opportunity to make additional investments in their property, expand their farms, purchase equipment and supplies, and otherwise support their families and local communities,’ the lawsuit said.

‘Because plaintiffs are ineligible to even apply for the program solely due to their race, they have been denied the equal protection of the law and therefore suffered harm.’

The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued a statement saying it was reviewing the lawsuit with the U.S. Department of Justice, but that the USDA plans to continue to offer loan forgiveness to ‘socially disadvantaged’ farmers.

What3Words Sends Legal Threat To a Security Researcher For Sharing an Open-Source Alternative (techcrunch.com) 133

*** begin quote ***

A U.K. company behind digital addressing system What3Words has sent a legal threat to a security researcher for offering to share an open-source software project with other researchers, which What3Words claims violate its copyright.

But security researcher Andrew Tierney recently discovered that What3Words would sometimes have two similarly-named squares less than a mile apart, potentially causing confusion about a person’s true whereabouts. In a later write-up, Tierney said What3Words was not adequate for use in safety-critical cases.

What3Words Sends Ridiculous Legal Threat To Security Researcher Over Open Source Alternative
(Mis)Uses of Technology

The only proper response to this is never, ever use What3Words for anything that matters. Beyond not giving in to censorial, abusive bullies, their legal reaction to a security researcher doing reverse engineering work to help find potentially dangerous problems with What3Words screams loudly to the world that What3Words has no confidence that it’s products are safe. They’re scared to death of security researchers being able to really test their work.

Both of these reasons means that What3Words should be remembered as little more than a failed.dumpster.fire rather than the cool.mapping.idea it could have been.

INSPIRATIONAL: Violence at Home Signal for Help

Friday, May 7, 2021

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signal_for_Help

Did you know? – source Wikipedia

The Signal for Help (or the Violence at Home Signal for Help)
is a single-handed gesture that can be used by an individual to alert others that
they feel threatened and need help over a video call, or in-person. It was originally
created as a tool to combat the rise in domestic violence cases around the world
as a result of the self-isolation measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The signal is performed by holding your hand up with your
thumb tucked into your palm, then folding your fingers down, symbolically
trapping your thumb in your fingers. It was intentionally designed as a single
continuous hand movement, rather than a sign held in one position, that could be
made easily visible.

The Signal for Help was first introduced in Canada by the Canadian
Women’s Foundation and in the United States by the Women’s Funding Network
(WFN) in April 2020. It received widespread praise from local, national, and
international news organizations for helping provide a modern solution to the issue
of a rise in domestic violence cases. The signal has been recognized by over 40
organizations across Canada and the United States as a useful tool to help
combat domestic violence.

Addressing concerns that abusers may become aware of such a
widespread online initiative, the Canadian Women’s Foundation and other
organizations clarified that this signal is not “something that’s going to
save the day,” but rather a tool someone could use to get help.
Instructions for what to do if an individual sees the signal, and how to
check-in safely, were also created.

TINFOILHAT: Was there a conspiracy to slander DJT45?

Bill Maher now admits Russiagate was ‘reported erroneously’ after years of promoting Trump-Russia collusion narrative
NEWSPAUL SACCA
May 01, 2021

*** begin quote ***

Bill Maher now admits that the Russiagate story that he helped promulgate while Donald Trump was president had elements that were “reported erroneously.” The liberal TV talk show host made the admission on the latest episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher.”

There were hundreds of media outlets and some Democratic politicians that pushed conspiracy theories claiming Trump was colluding with the Russian government, including stories that the former U.S. president was a “handmaid” to Russian President Vladimir Putin because he was blackmailed by kompromat. Veteran journalist Brit Hume went so far as to say the mainstream media’s coverage of the Russia investigation is the “worst journalistic fiasco” he has ever witnessed.

The Russian collusion story came crashing down when Robert Mueller’s nearly two-year “investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

On Friday night, Maher made a confession that the Russian collusion story wasn’t all that the media made it out to be. During a panel discussion about the federal agent raid of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment that took place this week, Maher asked his guests, “Is it political payback, is this politics or is it because what Giuliani and Trump did was unprecedented?”

*** end quote ***

Where’s the Grand Jury empaneled to investigate this conspiracy?

It couldn’t be that every alleged “journalist” go the story so consistently wrong!

Where is the “Game of Thrones” like parade of naked villains through the streets with someone ringing a bell and crying “shame. SHAME. SHAME!”.  Maybe some of the outraged “deplorables” can throw dung at them.

It seems that ‘reported erroneously’ is a HUGE understatement.

The Lame Stream Media has ZERO credibility with me.

RATHERGATE was just a symptom.

LIBERTY: “masks required” posted under dures

Reader Question: Libertarians and Signs?EPautos – Libertarian Car Talk — by eric

One, they are largely posted under duress; i.e., it is not a freely taken decision of the owner but rather the owner acting out of fear of government. Put another way, the government is using the “private” business to impose its “mandates,” via threats. In other words, it is an assault  on private property – as well as free association.

Two, this is nothing like ordinary rules regarding terms of service. It is about spreading a deliberate, dangerous lie – and about forcing complicity in the lie. The propagation of mass hysteria, no different, fundamentally, than shouting “fire!” in a crowded theater when there is no fire.

So, there is no dilemma. Certainly not morally.

Time for “We, The Sheeple” to resist.

Or they will have no choice eventually to board the trains to the camps.

It’s a slippery slope.

No exaggeration!

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? . . .” — Alexander Solzhenitsyn

NEWJERSEY: Why can’t “we” initiative, referendum, and recall?

A jewel in the crown of California’s democracy
Jeff Jacoby

*** begin quote ***

Like the ability to pass or repeal laws via the ballot box — initiative and referendum — the recall is one of the mechanisms of direct democracy that were adopted in many states during the Progressive Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In California, the campaign to add them to the state constitution was spearheaded by Governor Hiram Johnson, who wanted to blunt the political power of California’s corrupt railroad monopolies. In an impassioned inaugural address, he hailed the initiative, referendum, and recall as the best way to give to the electorate the power of action when desired, and . . . place in the hands of the people the means by which they may protect themselves.”

*** end quote ***

During the Florio tax revolt — hands across New Jersey — was championing I,R,&R.

But the “movement” was taken over by the R’s when they subverted the leadership and that ended that.

A plague on both their “houses”, the R’s and the D’s.

“We, The Sheeple” need to grow some “huevos muchos grande” and make this a litmus test for candidates who want their vote.
