GOVEROTRAGEOUS: USA Today Refused To Publish Hunter Biden Scandal Op-Ed, So Here It Is

Friday, October 23, 2020

Tyler Durden Thu, 10/22/2020 – 11:28 Authored by Glenn Harlan Reynolds, SO USA TODAY DIDN’T WANT TO RUN MY HUNTER BIDEN COLUMN THIS WEEK. My regular editor is on vacation, and I guess everyone else was afraid to touch it. So I’m sending them another column next week, and just publishing this one here.

The heads Facebook and of Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, are now facing Senate subpoenas, the RNC has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, arguing that Twitter’s action in blacking out a damaging story constituted an illegal in-kind donation to the Biden Campaign, and most significantly, everyone is talking about the story now, with many understandably assuming that if the story were false, it would have been debunked rather than blacked out.

CNN’s Jake Tapper tweeted: ”Congrats to Twitter on its Streisand Effect award!!!” Big Tech shot itself in the foot, and it didn’t stop the signal.

Clearly, the Gooferment MUST break up “Big Tech” to make it conform to American values of “fair play”.

ECONOMICS: Biden’s plan to overhaul 401(k) tax breaks could force some companies to cut retirement benefits

Thursday, October 22, 2020

“When you mess up that bargain, you’re disincentivizing those small business owners from having that plan anymore,” he said. “Not only is it unfair to those small business owners, it’s going to reduce the likelihood that they’re going to offer those benefits to their employees. And that’s particularly acute in a challenging time like now.”

Let’s go on record that “tax policy” — by EITHER party — is fraught with Unintended Consequences!

Having killed “pensions” except for Gooferment bureaucrats; now they are killing 401Ks!

Argh!

POLITICAL: In New Biden Ad, Michigan Millionaire Claims Trump Is Killing His Nightclub

Tuesday, October 20, 2020

But it’s even more dishonest than I thought. With Biden, it usually is. Collin Anderson, Washington Free Beacon:

The struggling Michigan bar owner at the center of a Joe Biden campaign ad is actually a wealthy tech investor whose startup was seeded by a large family inheritance.

The ad, which the Biden campaign released Thursday, identifies Michigan entrepreneur Joe Malcoun as co-owner of the Blind Pig, a bar and live music venue in Ann Arbor, Mich…According to a 2018 interview with local NBC affiliate Click on Detroit, Malcoun became a well-known “angel investor” in local tech startups after receiving a large inheritance from his wife’s late grandfather roughly a decade ago. He described the inheritance as “almost like winning the lottery…

”Malcoun has also repeatedly praised Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer’s (D.) coronavirus response, saying she “is doing it right” in an April tweet.

INNOVATION: The Tunnel of Eupalinos – Futility Closet

Tuesday, October 20, 2020

When the Greek engineer Eupalinos contrived a tunnel in the 6th century B.C. to carry water through Mount Kastro to Samos, he started digging simultaneously from the north and south, hoping that the two tunnels would meet in the heart of the mountain. He arranged this through some timely doglegs: When the two teams could hear one another (meaning they were about 12 meters apart), each deviated from its course in both the horizontal (left) and vertical (right) planes:

I’d heard about this decades ago in injineering skrule.  But didn’t realize the enormity of the undertaking.

Guess that’s why I never “grokked” the importance of civil engineering.

POLITICAL: CNBC: Under Biden Plan, Top Tax Rate 62% | Newsmax.com

Monday, October 19, 2020

Under the tax plan from Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, people earning more than $400,000 a year could pay combined federal and state income taxes at rate of more than 62%. CNBC reported.

Anyone care to hazard a guess what this is going to do to the economy?

What incentive do “the rich” have to take risks and invest if the Gooferment is the majority stake holder in any gains and (probably imho) no stake in the losses.

I’d expect that investment capital to be redirected to real estate and hard assets for use after the collapse and inflation.

Argh!

(And by the way, when the “tax increase” doesn’t yield sufficient “revenue”, I bet that 400k$ “ceiling” starts to drop. Just like the Gooferment ALWAYS does!)

(Argh!)

Ideally how much trans fat should we eat a day?

Zero, and the same goes for saturated fat and cholesterol.

Guess it’s YET ANOTHER thing one should do.

“NO! … Try not! … Do or do not… there is no try.” (To do it justice, you must say the word try with all the revulsion and disgust you can put on it. Like you were talking about a rapist, a child murderer, or a politician!) — Yoda (Fictional character from George Lucas’s “Star Wars” movie)

TECHNOLOGY: Google cleaning out the app’s inventory — RIP Trusted Contact

Saturday, October 17, 2020

Over three years ago, we launched the Trusted Contacts app as a way to help people stay up to date with their loved ones’ whereabouts. Since then, we’ve built this functionality directly into Google Maps with Location Sharing – making it even easier to share your live location with trusted friends and family.

As a result, the Trusted Contacts app will be removed from the App Store and Play Store today, and will stop being supported after December 1, 2020. If the app is installed on your device, you can continue to use it until then.

If you have created trusted contacts, you can download them from the trusted contacts page until December 1, 2020. After that date, the Trusted Contact app will no longer work and your trusted contacts will be unable to see the live location you are sharing with them from the app.

To learn more about Location Sharing in Google Maps, check out our help center.

Too bad if you were using it.

You really are NOT in control of your tools.

Makes everything that Google “gives” you for “free” suspect that it won’t be there tomorrow.

POLITICAL: Why Are Chicago Prosecutors Undercharging Accused Violent Criminals?

Friday, October 16, 2020

The website CWB Chicago recently reported on the case of 33-year old Marshal Delvalle, a four time felon who was recently arrested in connection with a string of reported robberies in the city earlier this month.

Yet, even though one of the incidents was allegedly captured on video, they did not charge Marshal Delvalle with attempted murder, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm, or even being a felon in possession of a firearm. But they did charge him with robbery.

Delvalle, 33, is accused of robbing four people in two incidents that police this month said was part of a pattern that involved nine similar cases in the area.

At 8:55 a.m. on Friday, October 2, an offender wielded a baseball bat as he tried to rob a 49-year-old man outside the victim’s home on the 7000 block of North Rockwell. When the men began struggling, the victim’s wife appeared, and Delvalle got out of a nearby tan Mercury Marquis with a gun, Assistant State’s Attorney Jocelyn Schieve said.

Delvalle allegedly pointed the gun at the woman and demanded her purse. He then shot at the husband as the man ran from the scene and fired on a witness who stepped out to see what was going on, Schieve said. The witness was shot in the foot.

TINFOILHAT: The Fake Coronavirus ???

Tuesday, October 13, 2020

*** begin quote ***

NOTE: Readers have sent me electron microscope images of what are claimed to be “isolated COVID virus.” An image here, an image there—this is NOT the way science is done, as I will explain fully in this article. I have also been sent a CDC document that claims the COVID virus has been isolated.

I have also been sent a CDC document that claims the COVID virus has been isolated. However, that document is dated two months earlier than the CDC document that admits they do not have the virus. So it means nothing.

Last week, I wrote and published two articles (here and here) exposing the root of the poisonous tree: the CDC admits it does not have an isolated COVID virus.

Therefore, SARS-CoV-2, the pandemic virus, has never been proved to exist.

This shattering fact reveals the whole pandemic is a fraud. The virus, the test, the case numbers—all fraud. And the lockdowns were unnecessary and criminal.

Sorry, but could this all be some type of giant “mistake” or worse.

Remember: “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” — Rahm Emanuel

Did the D’s — politicians, bureaucrats, the Deep State, the Big Media, Big Tech, and a mob of liberals — use this that for its own purposes like “Orange Man Bad”!

Argh!
