After Brexit, a Trump Path to Victory
By Patrick J. Buchanan

What might a Trumpian policy of Americanism over globalism entail?

A 10 to 20 percent tariff on manufactured goods to wipe out the trade deficit in goods, with the hundreds of billions in revenue used to slash or eliminate corporate taxes in the USA.

Every U.S. business would benefit. Every global company would have an incentive not only to move production here but its headquarters here.

An “America first” immigration policy would secure the border, cut legal immigration to tighten U.S. labor markets, strictly enforce U.S. laws against those breaking into our country, and get tough with businesses that make a practice of hiring people here illegally.

In Europe and America, corporate, financial and political elites are increasingly disrespected and transnationalism is receding. An anti-establishment, nationalist, populist wave is surging across Europe and the USA.

It is an anti-insider, anti-Clinton wave, and Trump could ride it to victory.

One can only hope!

Slashing the corporate income tax would lower everyone’s cost of living.

“Corporations are merely tax collectors; not taxpayers. They merely pass their costs along.” Lawrence Alan “Larry” Kudlow is an American economist, television personality, and newspaper columnist. August 26, 2014 0830 on WMAL Mornings on the Mall Brian Wilson and Larry O’Connor

Only real people pay those “corporate” taxes.

I’m sure that the D’s and the R’s won’t cooperate since we all know who pays them off!

ECONOMICS: Social Security “Insurance” Bankrupt

Scathing New Report Shows Just How Bankrupt Social Security Really Is
By Simon Black

*** begin quote ***

Last week, a group of analysts published an astonishing report about the future of Social Security in the United States, and their remarks were nothing short of damning.

According to their calculations, for example, these analysts claim that Social Security is already running a huge deficit to the tune of tens of billions of dollars each year.

In fact, this Social Security funding deficit has been taking place for several years now, and it’s actually accelerating. So the problem worsens each year.

*** and ***

Don’t get me wrong– I don’t mean “fix Social Security”. Oh no. That program is toast.

I’m talking about fixing this for yourself.

Retirement is one of those life events that is completely predictable. We know it’s going to happen.

And with a little bit of education, planning, discipline, and execution, we can vastly influence the outcome and prevent any major catastrophe from interfering with our goals.

You can dramatically boost your own nest egg, for example, and have much greater say over your retirement assets by setting up a structure like a solo 401(k) or a self-directed IRA.

It also makes sense to invest in your financial education; learning more about investing will clearly be beneficial in boosting your returns, and this can have a profound effect over time.

Especially if you’re younger, increasing your average return by just 1% over the course of 20-40 years can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional retirement savings.

You may also want to consider retiring abroad where you can live the lifestyle you’ve always wanted at a fraction of the price, and substantially stretch the time and value of your retirement savings.

Look, I’m convinced that Social Security will become a national emergency some day. Just remember that since its demise is conspicuously predictable, the impact on your life is completely preventable.

*** end quote ***

Social Security Insurance is like a Ponzi scheme.

At least the Ponzi victims made a free choice to “invest” in the scheme.

Every “worker” today has no choice but to accept an “investment” with an estimated negative return of between of 2 and 15%.

Further it’s a wealth transfer from poor minority men to rich white women.

So, why do we still have this racist scam.

Set people free to save for their own retirement.

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: The “civilian” Gooferment has more troops than the USMC!

British Exit Not a Done Deal
By Jason Stapleton –  Jun 24, 2016 673

*** begin quote ***

Markets are in an uproar today after the UK voted to leave the EU. But has anyone bothered to look at what happens next? I think a lot of people believe that a British separation from the EU is inevitable, even imminent but nothing could be further from the truth.

By my estimation, it’s going to take at least two and a half years for the UK to make it’s transition and that’s assuming there are no political shenanigans that come up. Considering that a mere 2% separated the winners from the losers, it would not be at all unlikely to see some MP’s step up to block the referendum from being implemented.

What you need to understand is that we are years away from any change coming to the trading relationship between the UK and EU, and a lot can happen between now and then.

From the EU discussion, we’ll move to guns where I’ll play some interesting comments from Charlie Rangel, who apparently believes he deserves to be protected by guns while you should be forced to fend for yourself.

*** end quote ***

Obviously, BREXIT, if not sabotaged by the effete elite, will take several years to unwind.

Hopefully, it will spur a bunch of mini —EXITs.

I hope New Hampshire is one, but I think Texas needs to lead and be first. (Although, imho, North Dakota with the fracking oil and the only State Bank — the Bank of North Dakota — is the best prepared to EXIT since it doesn’t need the “services” of the Federal Reserve.)

ALSO

Jason excoriates Rangel with his snide laugh at the stupid “law abiding people”. (Made my blood boil!)

ALSO

Jason points out that the “civilian” Gooferment has more troops than the USMC! WTH!!!

Department of Education has SWAT teams? Why?

EPA, IRS, NOAA, FDA … … why?

Argh!

SECURITY: TDAMERITRADE delayed reaction

Friday, July 1, 2016

2016-Jul-01

Dear Valued Client,

The security of client information is a top priority for us. As part of routine monitoring, we have learned that client email addresses and passwords from a breach at LinkedIn® were compromised and recently published online. While the breach is not TD Ameritrade-related, we believe that the User ID on your TD Ameritrade Institutional account matches an email address from that breach.

As a precaution, we have expired the password on your TD Ameritrade Institutional account. We know that many people reuse the same passwords on multiple websites, so it is important that we take this proactive step.*

You will need to log in to your TD Ameritrade Institutional account to change your password. Please be sure that the new password you create is different from your previous one.

If you have trouble accessing your account, or if you have any questions, please contact your Advisor or call TD Ameritrade Institutional at 800-431-3500 option 2.

Sincerely,

John Tovar

So because they have Clients that are boobs, I have to be inconvenienced?

And, I hate to tell them the LinkedIn breech was a LONG time ago.

I guess they had to figure out how to expire all the old passwords OR they just heard about it.

Argh!
