HARDWARE: No signal on plane

Most interesting on today’s flight.

No signal on the iPhone and no signal on the mifi while in the air.

That surprised me.

With all the fluff about cell phones on planes, they are not much use without connectivity.

NO email; NO texting; NO voice.

Hmmm, have to rethink everything.
