Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Movie is technically excellent.

The new reserved seating, like the stage plays, causes great confusion, long lines, and extra time to get everyone settled down.

Katniss is not as sexy as she was in the first one. (Guess she’s gone Hollywood. Had work done? Lost weigh? Toned up more? And hence, she’s lost some of the “softness of features” and sexiness.)

One main character changed, effie, and it hurts.

Best line: “remember who the real enemy is”.

Something we should all remember!

RANT: A rare form of cancer and lost his health insurance

Bureaucrats won’t help unless he is ‘pregnant or an illegal alien’
Published: 19 hours ago

He was born with a rare form of cancer and lost his health insurance just after Obamacare went into effect.

Americans were told the health-care law was designed to help children just like Hunter, born with a deadly pre-existing condition and little means to pay for expensive treatments.

The Affordable Care Act was not supposed to take away the insurance these most-vulnerable children already had and leave them utterly defenseless against a life-threatening disease.

Answers are hard to come by, but it looks like that’s what the president’s signature achievement has done in the small town of Gainesville, Texas.

If I was the President, the Governor of Texas, any of the Congress critters covering him, or any of the local politicians and bureaucrats, then I’d call an EMERGENCY conference call today.

By End Of Day, I’d want the facts and reassurance for this family, and all families.

Tell me again, how Saint Jude’s For Children, a private charity, would do this?

Gooferment is ALWAYS immoral, ineffective, AND inefficient!

“Happy Thanksgiving”!

The Obama administration today announced a year-long delay of online enrollment for small businesses looking to purchase health coverage through federal-run exchanges, another setback for

The delay, first reported by POLITICO, comes just weeks after Obama administration officials said the online enrollment for small businesses would be ready by the end of November. The announcement also comes just three days before the White House promises will provide a smoother enrollment experience for most users trying to purchase individual and family coverage. Fixing the problems with the individual market has been the White House priority.

Excuse me, but how does the Administration get to unilaterally change the “law”.

It’s a joke.
