GUNS: NFL banned commercial

Why would the NFL ban this commercial from the Superbowl unless it has a political agenda?

Maybe RKBA activists should boycott the Superbowl!

GUN: “stupidity with a firearm

SEPTEMBER 16, 2013

Aaron Alexis, Suspect In Washington Navy Yard Shooting, Was Once Arrested For Shooting Bullet Into Neighbor’s Home

*** begin quote ***

The suspect in today’s deadly shooting at the Washington Navy Yard was once arrested for discharging a firearm into the ceiling of his Texas residence, according to police records.

Aaron Alexis, 34, was arrested in September 2010 after his upstairs neighbor called Fort Worth cops to report that a bullet had been shot into her apartment. The round apparently first traveled through her home’s floor and then the ceiling.

[UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF PIECE: Alexis was also arrested in mid-2004 for shooting out the tires of a car owned by a construction worker who purportedly “mocked him.” Alexis told cops that an anger-fueled “black out” promted the shooting. Alexis’s father told investigators that his son suffered from “anger management problems” that were related to post-traumatic stress disorder, perhaps connected to his involvement in rescue work following the September 11 terror attacks.]

The woman, whose name is not listed in a Fort Worth Police Department report, said that she was “terrified” of Alexis, who had previously confronted her about making too much noise. The woman, who was “visibly shaken up” when questioned by police, said that she believed the shooting was “intentional.”

I don’t understand.

He should have been arrested.

If for nothing more than “stupidity with a firearm”.

If convicted, he’d have been barred from possession.

Yet, now we’ll endure more “gun control”.

In realist, what genius decided it was a good idea to prevent the military from packin on a base?

… … <cue the Jeopardy theme> … …

Bill Clinton!

Argh!

[Personally, I’m praying for the victims. Victims of Gooferment stupidity.]

“I was scared when he first drew the knife, but my old training must have kicked in because I just punched him as hard as I could and he went down like a sack of spuds. If you can’t defend what’s yours, where are we at?” Corti said after the case.

Sorry, but this just kicks the can down the road four years. Probably less.

And, makes it someone else’s problem.

With a gun, this criminal would be dirt side up and an object lesson.

Glad it worked out so well, but I’m a non-violent pro-life person, but I want a gun when the Bad Guy brings a knife.

GUNS: Sprinkling “sheepdogs” into the flock of “sheep”

Gun toting teachers’ names must remain private

By revealing the names of permit holders, the newspaper effectively told criminals what homes had no armed defense. Indeed, when editors of the paper were asked by documentary filmaker and activist James O’Keefe if they would put signs in front of their homes saying that they were “gun free,” they understood it would make them targets of criminals.

The purpose of sprinkling “sheepdogs” into the flock of “sheep” is to surprise the “wolves”.

This misguided fellow wants to paint a bullseye on those “sheepdogs”.

Like a “dog in the manger”, he can’t win the argument on merits so he’s going to make it not work!

RANT: The Federalists and the Antifederalists?

Re: “Neale’s Weekly Gun Rant Volume 14” by Neale Osborn

*** begin quote ***

Part way down he stated, in pertinent part:

There is only ONE way to remove the 2nd Amendment. And you’d think a man claiming to be a lawyer would know that. It’s called “Pass another Amendment”.

Um, no.

There is NO WAY to remove any part of the Bill of Rights, without nullifying the entire constitution and the republic that it purports to create and define.

The constitution was ratified under a binding contract between the Federalists and the Antifederalists, to the effect that the ratification was conditional upon the passage of a Bill of Rights. Therefor, if any part of the Bill of Rights is violated by any means, and that includes its repeal by a new “amendment”, then the whole contract is null and void.

If the contract is void, the ratification is void.
If the ratification is void, the constitution is void.
If the constitution is void, the republic is void.
If the republic is void, there is no “legitimate government” in any legal sense.
If there is no “legitimate government”, there is, de jure, political freedom in the territory previously governed by the former republic.

Since the bill of rights has been violated by direct act of the congress, the presidents and the courts — the ratification contract, the constitution and the republic are null and void, in any legal sense. No new “amendment” violating the bill of rights or the ratification contract is now needed to produce this result.

The argument form is modus ponens. The conclusion is inescapable, to my mind.

So, in legal contemplation, the part of North America between Canada and Mexico, the Alaska Territory, the former Kingdom of Hawaii and the Crown Colonies are, de jure, in a state of anarchy and political freedom, while being illegally occupied by Imperial Usa, a foreign military power.

For such a state of affairs to transit from de jure to de facto, it only requires that the american militia remove t he invading pretender-government now throwing its weight around.

I recommend 5GW strategy.

Good Hunting,
Michael Bradshaw

“Inasmuch as the Constitution was never signed, nor agreed to, by anybody, as a contract, and therefore never bound anybody, and is now binding upon nobody; and is, moreover, such an one as no people can ever hereafter be expected to consent to, except as they may be forced to do so at the point of the bayonet, it is perhaps of no importance what its true legal meaning, as a contract, is. Nevertheless, the writer thinks it proper to say that, in his opinion, the Constitution is no such instrument as it has generally been assumed to be; but that by false interpretations, and naked usurpations, the government has been made in practice a very widely, and almost wholly, different thing from what the Constitution itself purports to authorize. He has heretofore written much, and could write much more, to prove that such is the truth. But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain – that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.” Lysander Spooner (1808-1887), No Treason (1870) http://praxeology.net/LS-NT-6.htm#no.6

Santa Monica Shooter Built Illegal Weapon After Gov’t Denied Him Firearm
New details were released Thursday about the deadly rampage and the 23-year-old gunman who carried it out
By Samantha Tata | Friday, Jun 14, 2013 | Updated 12:03 PM PDT

*** begin quote ***

John Zawahri, 23, was denied a firearm by the Justice Department in 2011. But he was able to obtain the right components to build a semiautomatic rifle that he then used in a deadly shooting spread that left five victims killed. An apologetic goodbye note was found on his body after he was gunned down by police. Beverly White reports for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on June 13, 2013.

*** and ***

The gunman in a fatal shooting spree in Santa Monica tried to legally buy a firearm in 2011 but was denied by the Justice Department, the city’s police chief announced Thursday evening at a news conference that revealed more details about the events that led up to the deadly rampage.

Investigators believe John Zawahri, who suffered from mental illness, built a semi-automatic rifle capable of firing .223-caliber ammunition using parts he bought from various sources around the country, Santa Monica Police Sgt. Richard Lewis said.

Officials would not say why Zawahri’s quest to obtain a firearm two years ago was halted. Despite the rejection, Zawahri was able to obtain “an array” of high-capacity magazines that he used in a homemade weapon.

GUNS: “Zero-Tolerance”; “Zero-Sense”

When “Zero-Tolerance” Makes “Zero-Sense”
Posted on June 14, 2013

*** begin quote ***

We’ve been reporting very regularly on ridiculous cases involving over-zealous school officials misinterpreting and wrongly enforcing “zero-tolerance” rules.

In March, we reported on an outrageous case of a seven-year-old Baltimore, Md. student who, according to a March 2, Daily Caller article, was suspended for two days for the nefarious act of shaping a breakfast pastry into what his teacher thought looked like a gun. Yes, a breakfast pastry.

According to the young student, he was eating the strawberry pastry during snack time and was biting off pieces in an attempt to shape it into a mountain. Apparently, the teacher thought the student’s handiwork instead looked like a gun, and escorted him to the principal’s office for prompt disciplinary action.

In a recent follow-up story, the Daily Caller reported on more bad news for the young victim of over-zealous school administrators.

*** end quote ***

How dumb are we?

The Sheeple and Clovers don’t get it.

And, the Gooferment Skrules are mindless idiots as well.

There’s a reason that teachers are the lowest rung on the academic ladder.

Those who can do; those who can’t teach; those who can’t teach, teach teaching. Obviously there’s another tier: those who can teach teaching and have no common sense become school bureaucrats!

Why torture children with this type of a system. Remember the Jack in the box model comes from Prussia. The objective was to make cannon fodder for the Army, good factory workers, and a pliable underclass that could be led easily by the elite!

Remind me again where the rich and politicians send their children?

GUNS: Use handguns to fight our way to a rifle

AR-15 Rifle – the King of Home Defense
by Paul Merkel

*** begin quote ***

When considering the defense of your home against intruders there are a few question you must ask yourself and realities you must face.

Before we delve into the hardware aspect, we need to engage in a very simple question and answer exercise. That is, what is our legitimately anticipated problem and what is the most practical and effective solution.

Tough Questions: What is the Threat?

First and foremost, when you consider protecting your home, what is the anticipated threat? Naturally, we are concerned with the stereotypical burglar, the lone criminal. Professional criminals will generally “burgle” your home when you are out. The most dangerous threat is what we’ll call the “home invasion”.

One, two, three or more armed vermin force their way into an occupied home intent on robbery, rape, and potentially murder. While rare, the threat is real enough to send chills down the spine of any home owner.

*** end quote ***

My paternal grandmother had a rifle hung over her fireplace until she went into a nursing home in the late 60’s. When I asked her if it was loaded, she replied: “Weren’t no good if it weren’t!” I knew from other family members that she’d used it when she traveled the Oregon Trail.

So do we need such an attitude today.

Sad to say I think so.

The Liberalism and “Secular Progressive” society of post-WW2 has create a parasite class that has no fear. Caught and sent to prison, they come out with new criminal skills, physically stronger, and with a worse attitude than they went in with.

Every good man and woman should have access to Sam Colt’s equalizer!

Like the bumpersticker says: “When seconds count, the police are minutes away” and “You are your own First Responder”!

I have mine. I hope you have yours. Mostly I hope it’s like insurance and we all never need it.

GUNS: Evidence for Confiscation

Evidence for Confiscation: 5 Examples That Show the Threat Is Real

by S.H. Blannelberry
Guns.com

*** begin quote ***

Gun control activists do not want to confiscate our guns. Really. Just trust them about it. They don’t. Instead, they just want to pass simple, common sense and reasonable gun laws that have nothing to do with confiscating lawfully owned property. Trust them. They really, really don’t want to take our guns. Really.

As President Barack Obama said on the campaign trail in 2008, “I believe in the Second Amendment. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away … But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one because it just ain’t true. It ain’t true.”

See, it just ain’t true, like the President said. No lawmaker or politician will propose legislation that will confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens. Really. In fact, every gun control supporter is a huge fan of the right to keep and bear arms. Really.

2. NY SAFE Act

3. California’s Confiscation Task Force

4. New Jersey Lawmakers: “Confiscation, Confiscation, Confiscation”

It’s all about “control” of the Clovers and Sheeple.

JPFO has a few great articles about the Genocide / Shoah came after “gun control” to make everyone safe. And, the racist origins of “gun control” in the South; the KKK didn’t want anyone who could shoot back!

Argh!

How stupid are we?

GUNS: “Gun Free Zone” is a free fire zone for the bad guys

A Brief and Bloody History of Gun Control
by Anthony Gucciardi
StoryLeak

*** begin quote ***

Painted signs reading ‘gun free zone’ and gun control legislation that really only affects law-abiding citizens does not prevent mass shootings, as we have seen evidenced by more than one shooting incident. Both the Aurora shooting at the Colorado movie theater dubbed the ‘Batman shooting’ and the most recent Sandy Hook incident in Connecticut both occurred in areas with heavy gun regulation. Amazingly, the Batman shooter actually traveled to the one movie theater in the area that actually did not permit lawful citizens to carry a concealed weapon. According to Dr. John R. Lott in an interview with Newsmax,

”…the one he picked was the only one of those movie theaters that banned people taking permit-concealed handguns into that theater.”

*** end quote ***

Again, these killers are crazy, but not stupid.

I don’t understand why the victims are not litigating with the movie theater for that policy putting them in harm’s way.

Like the Luby’s story, law abiding people obey laws. Criminals don’t.

Seems as simple as 1+1=2 … …

Yet, the Sheeple and Clovers allow the Gooferment, politicians, bureaucrats, and liberal media disarm everyone with “wishful thinking”.

Argh!
