As you may well know, hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and ivermectin are among the most frequently mentioned drugs for early treatment of COVID-19. Both drugs were originally used to combat tropical diseases like malaria (HCQ) and river blindness (ivermectin). What follows is a very brief history of how they were repurposed for treating COVID-19

Whether or not you believe HCQ and ivermectin are effective early treatments is beside the point: Both of these generic drugs are considered safe for pregnant women and many nations sell these drugs over the counter.

Given that there is no moral or scientific basis for this unprecedented disruption of the doctor-patient relationship, why are the CDC and FDA doing this? Why do some dying patients need to resort to a court order to access alternative treatment?

If there is a silver lining to this grotesque charade, it is our growing awareness of the moral bankruptcy in our government, our media, our medical institutions. Most importantly, it has shed light on how easily massive segments of the population can be frightened into blind obedience.

If you still believe the lockdowns, mandates, and medical recommendations were hammered out in good faith, I have some Moderna stock to sell you.

It seems fairly obvious that Big Pharma got a huge payday and the Gooferment, the politicians, the bureaucrats, the media, and medical institutions were in on the scam.

I don’t think that “We, The Sheeple” even today have any clue as to how badly they were fooled.  And, the long term effects have yet to be seen

Amid waves of highly restrictive lockdowns and a proposed universal COVID-19 vaccine mandate to start February 1, tensions in Austria, where I live, are on the rise. But in late November, a new light of hope appeared on the horizon, just in time for Advent. Louis-Pierre Laroche, a wine merchant and father of eleven, issued a call to pray the rosary with others in public, for Austria. Exhausted from the political responses to COVID offering just ever-increasing restrictions, suffering economically, isolated by the lockdowns, frightened and dismayed by the prospect of a universal vaccine mandate, Laroche’s call is resonating with Austrians eager to join in.

Weekly, on Wednesday evenings since the end of November, all over Austria people have started to gather in public to pray the rosary together as part of the Austria Prays initiative. The call is simple while also profound: “Pray for Austria!” every Wednesday night, in public, as a flyer explains, “so that our country, that is currently in one of the most serious crises in its history, will be entrusted to the Mother of God, and to ask for her intercession for all citizens.”

MLK, echoing Ghandi, gave us the key to resistance to tyranny.  Peace quiet non-cooperation.  (Like 4 years old Daniel has taught me, no one can make ANYONE do what they don’t want to do.  They can only hurt or kill you.  They still won’t do what you want.)

I’d like to see more peaceful resistance to tyranny.

Denmark realizes that. They recently ended ALL their Covid restrictions.

“Go Denmark. We in the United States should do the same,” Economist Don Boudreaux says. The costs of restrictions now dramatically outweigh the benefits.

“We reduced COVID, through vaccination, to a fairly mild ailment,” Boudreaux tells me. “We don’t have to continue to upend human life in our quest to eliminate COVID, which can’t happen anyway.”

Covid is unlikely to ever go away. Even if all humans became free of Covid, Boudreaux points out, the virus can still live in animals. Humanity has never eradicated a virus that can live in both animals and humans.

As Denmark and other Europeans countries show, normal life can go on. Let people LIVE.

Let’s put the tyrants back in the asylum they belong in.  Or the dust bin of history.

“We, The Sheeple” are now smarter about being SCAMMED or PANICKED into giving up their liberties.

But the Aussie with they still had their guns.
