After Police Didn’t Take it Seriously He Exposed an International Bike Theft Ring on His Own
By Andy Corbley – Aug 30, 202

As one might imagine, the police in counties like Sonoma, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz didn’t listen to him. “We’re not Interpol” they would say.

*** and ***

Hance had been clued into the Colorado bike smuggling ring with a Modus Operandi extremely similar to that of the one he believed was behind the thefts all over California, but was even more bold—bike thieves at one point smashed through the front of a bike shop with a van, loaded up the van with a dozen bikes, and drove off.

As to the California smugglers, Hance believes the man at the end of the trail is operating out of Jalisco, and Hance’s sleuthing turned up perhaps the chief fence on this side of the border. Victoriano Romero—who was then subsequently raided by police and found to be in possession of bikes similar to ones reported stolen on Bike Index, along with $200,000 cash in a strongbox in his San Jose auto shop.

The arrest of Romero hasn’t disrupted the network, and Hance still sees that the Jalisco seller routinely offers high-end bikes for sale on his social media pages: accessible only because Hance uses a VPN to funnel his connection through Mexico.

Maybe the politicians and bureaucrats of Sonoma, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz should put Brian Hance in as their Police Commissioner?

I can’t imagine a bigger slap in the face than a private individual cracking international crime rings.

A mom and her teenage son were killed in a car wreck and police have arrested the man they say was behind the wheel while drunk – a suspect who has three previous DUI convictions.

On Thursday, Colorado’s 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced formal charges against Jose Menjivar, 37.

Menjivar is accused of causing a crash in Broomfield on December 12 that claimed the lives of Melissa Powell, 46, and her son Riordan, 16.

Seems like the price would have a BOLO on every DUI convicted driver.

Instead of random checkpoints pursue the repeat offenders.  Give them a special license plate, like the dealer plates that easily are put on and off, that say “stop me for a DUI check”!

Argh!

This is not the first time I’ve ranted about this topic.

The person who loaned him the truck should be prosecuted as well as an “accessory before the fact”. That person had to know him well enough to know he didn’t have license.

INSPIRATIONAL: Truckers ‘boycotting’ Colorado

Moment long line truckers ‘boycott’ Colorado over the state’s 110-year sentence for driver who caused fatal accident: Petition to grant clemency attracts 4MILLION signatures

  • A petition to grant clemency to the driver of an 18-wheeler jailed for 110 years in prison for killing four people has garnered 4 million signatures on Change.org
  • According to TikTok videos, fellow drivers are now refusing to enter the state as a way to denounce the sentence they’ve deemed harsh and unfair
  • Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, 26, was sentenced to 110 consecutive years in prison for a fiery crash in 2019 that killed four people
  • He was driving a semi-truck at 85mph down I-70 in Lakewood, Colorado on April 25, 2019 when he crashed into two dozen vehicles stuck in rush hour traffic
  • The impact of the crash caused a fireball explosion that incinerated cars and trucks and killed four people and injured six others
  • Aguilera-Mederos claimed his brakes failed, but prosecutors said he should have used a runaway truck ramp miles before the scene of the crash
  • He was found guilty in October of 27 criminal charges

Viral TikTok videos claim to show a long line of trucks who are ‘boycotting’ Colorado by driving round it and refusing to enter the state over the 110-year jail sentence of a fellow driver who caused a huge crash that killed four on a Colorado interstate.

Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, 26, was driving a semi on April 25, 2019 down Interstate 70 in Lakewood, Colorado, when he crashed into two dozen vehicles – including four other semi-trucks stuck in rush-hour traffic. The impact caused a fireball explosion that incinerated cars and trucks and killed four people.

According to TikTok videos, fellow drivers are now refusing to enter the state as a way to denounce the sentence they’ve deemed harsh and unfair.

Here’s an alternative to “jury nullification”.

Wonder how long before Colorado folds?

I bet it’s less than a week.  Imagine gas stations with no gas or food stores with no deliveries.

And, I would want to be a driver that crossed their picket line.

Last time I remember anything this big was when the movie Convoy made a laughing stock of all the police that hassled truckers with lame tickets.

DENVER (AP) — A defense investigator in a Colorado death penalty case is behind bars after refusing to testify for prosecutors, saying that helping their effort to execute a defendant would violate her religious beliefs.

The report really doesn’t expose WHY this testimony is needed?

That being said, I am concerned about this intrusion on “religious liberty”.

Seems like this is an attack on religious liberty.

POLITICAL: Nullification is Constitutional and effective; as is Secession if we’re will to fight

Surprise, the Mainstream Media is Wrong Again: Yes, Nullification Does Work

*** begin quote ***

You don’t have to dig into a history book to prove nullification works. I can prove it does with one word.

Weed.

In 1996, California voters approved Proposition 215, the Compassionate Use Act, authorizing the possession, cultivation, and use of cannabis (marijuana) for limited medical use.

The federal government claims the power to strictly enforce a total prohibition of marijuana. It makes no exception for medical purposes. Despite federal law, states have advanced the issue each year. This has happened in spite of a 2005 Supreme Court opinion supporting federal prohibition, and a relentless year-to-year increase in spending and enforcement efforts by the federal government.

Today, despite ongoing attempts to enforce federal prohibition, 21 states and Washington D.C. have legalized marijuana for medical use, and 14 states and D.C. have decriminalized marijuana possession. Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon and Washington State have all legalized marijuana for recreational use. Each year, new state laws and regulations help expand the market, and each expansion further nullifies the unconstitutional federal ban in effect.

No matter what the mainstream tells you, nullification works. History proves this. The present proves this. And we will continue to prove it in the future.

*** end quote ***

Marijuana was outlawed to protect Hearst’s paper factories from competition. Fueled by that racist and untrue “Reeffer Madness”, “We, The Sheeple” were stampeded into another attempt at “Prohibition”.

Any prohibition doesn’t work. It merely raises the cost to the consumer and allows politicians and bureaucrats to exert more un-Constitutional control over “We, The Sheeple”.

Argh!

DENVER (CBS4) – A popular hunting shotgun could be banned under one of the bills moving through the state Capitol.

A pump or semi-automatic shotgun is the gun most hunters in Colorado use. It’s a gun state Sen. Greg Brophy, R-Wray, says could be banned under a bill that’s already passed the House and Gov. John Hickenlooper says he’ll sign.

INTERESTING: Laptop encryption is the crux of a Fifth Amendment issue

Feds urge court to reject laptop encryption appeal
By David Kravets, wired.com

Colorado federal authorities seized the encrypted Toshiba laptop from defendant Ramona Fricosu in 2010 with valid court warrants while investigating alleged mortgage fraud, and demanded she decrypt it.

Ruling that the woman’s Fifth Amendment rights against compelled self-incrimination would not be breached, US District Judge Robert Blackburn ordered the woman in January to decrypt the laptop by the end of February. The judge refused to stay his decision to allow Fricosu time to appeal.

Would someone please explain how this is not being compelled to testify against one’s self?
