I’ve often thought, believed without any real knowledge, that children are “earning machines”.

It’s got to be a survival mechanism. Like how they develop to look like their dad. They quickly learn to walk, talk, and do all sorts of things. So why can’t they all learn multiple languages. 

For me, it ties to how well homeschoolers do in the various national “bees” — spelling, geography, and there must be others!

Wish I could “prove” it because they for once and for all we could seek alternatives to the Gooferment Skrules!
