If the human species is to survive the present century, if Western Civilization is to survive, this irrational tendency must be treated as the mental disease it is and wiped out. I am nobody’s Republican, but it is absolutely essential that Republicans retain the Senate and the White House this Fall and take back the House of Representatives. Republicans, for the most part, are cowardly and stupid—the timorous and brain-dead attitude of Sean Hannity and Judge Jeanine Pirro toward private gun ownership and individual self-defense is an extremely sad example—but at least they are not completely insane.

On Saturday a Catholic prayer event in front of the St. Louis statue in Missouri was interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters. Violence broke out at the event as Black Lives Matter members attacked participants of the prayer event.
