Our Broken System Needs Disruption, And Trump Is The Disruptor
By Danny Lemieux

“We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.” —C.S. Lewis

When Donald J. Trump established himself in the president’s office in January 2017, one of the first things he did was hang a portrait of President Andrew Jackson in the Oval Office. That was a signal.

Andrew Jackson was an irascible war hero known for his blunt manner, explosive temper, and inclined to physical violence. He was elected President in 1828, his second attempt, as a reformer who promised to clean out the “deep state” corruption of his day.

While DJT45 has many many flaws, he is promising to “disrupt” the system!

POLITICAL: Socialized medicine kills when everything becomes political

At 34, Jon has incurable bowel cancer – all because the NHS turned into a Covid-only service

  • Jon Chapple’s diagnosis was delayed due to the pandemic; now his only hope is to crowdfund treatment in Germany

Allison Pearson  — 30 May 2023 • 6:32pm

In the spring of 2020, Jon Chapple and a friend were debating lockdown. Jon was pretty vehement. He said he thought it was obvious that shutting down the country, and effectively making the NHS a Covid-only service, was a huge error. It would kill more people than it saved in the long run, Jon told his friend. What Jon didn’t know was that one of the people lockdown would condemn to death would be him.

How could he possibly have known? Jon was 32, a music journalist turned PR who had recently married Nikki, his childhood sweetheart. They grew up two streets away from each other in Essex. The couple were incredibly happy, planning to move into a bigger place, start a family; life was sweet, apart from an annoying stomach complaint Jon had seen the GP about in January.

He’d been referred for a colonoscopy that was supposed to happen in March, but lockdown kiboshed that. The appointment was pushed back until August when a benign polyp was discovered in Jon’s bowel. The consultant said he didn’t have the right tool to take it out (he didn’t mention it was because the growth was so large) but he told Jon he’d get him back in to do it. “It was no big deal, I thought,” recalls Jon.

What a national disaster!  A simple colonoscopy could have save him a lot of suffering and maybe Gooferment cost him his life.

Where does this death get tabulated?

couldn’t find a reason to hold the suspect Daquan Stephen Rogers, 29, in custody. He’s been released without charges despite another open case involving brawling charged by Metro Transit last month and a history of cases involving transit crimes and assaults. Of course, he was tossed plea deals in the assault cases dismissing the violent crime charges. Free to go on his merry way.

POLITICAL: US Government Is Totally Corrupt — so what is the solution?

It Appears that the US Government Is Totally Corrupt
By Paul Craig Roberts  — May 11, 2023

*** begin quote ***

“It doesn’t make much sense to investigate the guy who brings you the allegation rather than the allegation.” — Former Federal Prosecutor Bud Cummins

On October 4, 2018, Bud Cummins brought evidence to the attention of US Attorney Geoff Berman of criminal behavior by Vice President Joe Biden. Instead of investigating Biden, Berman investigated Cummins. This is the Department of Justice today. The DOJ is just as corrupt as the FBI, which is part of DOJ, the CIA, NSA, FDA, and all the rest. Try to find an honest federal agency or institution.

If you don’t believe the FBI is corrupt, consider the Hunter Biden laptop. The information on the laptop revealing clear criminal behavior has been known for years, and nothing has been done about it. The corrupt FBI even declared the laptop to be a Russian plant in an effort to influence a US election. Really.

*** end quote ***

I don’t have an easy answer, or a hard one for that matter.

We can’t “vote the bums out” since they control the elections.

We can’t “defund” them since the system allows them unlimited (fiat paper) money to spend.

We can’t even criticize them on “social media” since they control that too.

I’m beginning to become a hardened cynic that there is any solution.

Bullion, bandaids, beans, and ₿bitcoin are the tactical response.

imho

Bernie Sanders: government should confiscate all wealth over $999 million

No billionaires at all! Not American ones, at least. That’s the newly proclaimed policy of Bernie Sanders, who most definitely is not challenging the Democrats to nominate him for president in 2024, as he did in 2020. Nope, Bernie is perfectly comfortable with the policies being followed by President Biden’s handlers. Presumably, in exchange for not rocking the boat as he did in 2020, forcing the party’s controllers to pick an already senescent Joe Biden just because he was easy to control with all these bribes that could be exposed when needed (cough! Stay tuned as Biden’s desire for re-election…

Once a commie; always a commie.

One could make a case that Crony Capitalists should be scorned; but some billionaires do it the “oldfashionway, they earned it”.  Despite all the Gooferment taxes, regulations, and inflation.

I’m so tired of parasites like Sanders who has never help a real job pontificating on social policy.

Just go away.  He has nothing to add to the national discourse.

The lesson of Afghanistan is a warning that Biden has ignored. Like Bush, he doesn’t care about spilling blood and wasting assets. He wants to build empire to get reelected. So did Bush, and his reputation is in the dustbin of history. Old Joe is aiming to join him.

Liberal comedian Bill Maher launched the Cojones Awards, a new trophy for those who stand up to cancel culture mobs, on Friday’s edition of his long running HBO talk show. The award honors ‘outstanding achievement in growing a pair.’

Maher, 67, handed out a gold trophy of dangling testicles to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos for his refusal to apologize over the controversy created by Dave Chappelle’s 2021 comedy special The Closer, which was criticized over jokes about the transgender community.

The host congratulated Sarandos for standing firm as Netflix employees walked out of their jobs over the controversy. He joked that if staff didn’t like the content then maybe ‘Netflix may not be the best place for you.’

While I don’t agree with his liberal slant, but with these awards he seems to doing the right thing.

‘Don’t demonize them’: Chicago’s new mayor-elect says it’s ‘not constructive’ to vilify group of rowdy teens that torched cars in rampage organized on social media – but condemned the chaotic takeover

  •     Chicago’s mayor-elect says he does not condone violence carried out by teens Saturday night but that the city should not vilify the group

Chicago’s mayor-elect says the city should not demonize the teens who organized a ‘Teen Takeover’ of the Loop over the weekend, even after the event turned violent with cars burnt cars and minors shot. Brandon Johnson, 47, said Sunday he does not ‘condone the destructive activity’ and that it’s ‘unacceptable and has no place’ in Chicago, but that it should not be used as a way to vilify the group. ‘However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities,’ said Johnson, a progressive Democrat. Shocking footage showed some teenagers jumping on top of a bus while others started a massive brawl after descending on Millennium Park and attempting to breach barricades. Gunshots rang out with some rounds striking two teenage boys aged 16 and 17. Cars were also left vandalized near East Washington Street in the Windy City, including a Tesla which is worth about $120,000.

Sorry, but I disagree.  This is behavior that should be demonized and punished severely.

These were criminals and thugs rioting.

“Law and Order” is a joke in these Democratic cities.

I met a German fellow who worked at a bar during the summer season in Austrália. I’ve said it before, Austrália has what I think is the best model regarding immigration. They have a 6 month work visa specific to industries that have work shortages or Australians simply don’t want to do. Like agro, hospitality, construction. The visa process is simple, can apply online and print it at home or even acquire at port of entry. You receive a temp tax ID number as well for your employer. It resolves illegal workers and ensures the State collects its taxes. If your one of those that constantly complains that “I’m for immigration as long as its legal” well here is your answer.

Seems like a great idea for here in the USA.

The Group the Chinese Communists Fear the Most
By Jeffrey Folks

*** begin quote ***

The story of the Chinese government crackdown on Falun Gong is a classic example of totalitarian intolerance of competing ideas, and it involves both propaganda and physical terror. A careful examination of the record proves that the response of the communist Chinese regime is not very different from that of ancient regimes toward their own enslaved peoples. Despite their vast power, totalitarian leaders are fearful and at times even paranoid, as was Stalin, and the flip-side of fear is repression.

Seems that this could put the CCP off-balance without the USA firing a shot.
