JOBFINDING: NYC IT “cat wrangler”

Thursday, June 5, 2008

Hi John,

The client is located in NYC, a 5 minute walk from Penn Station. IT has 75-80 people – this person will have approximately 20 reports, including five managers. 75% of their applications are legacy mainframe (remainder are UNIX distributed and .Net) so the person should have mainframe somewhere in their experience. The role is really strategic – the direct reports (managers) need to be reined in so that the CIO can function as a CIO. Looking for a dynamic individual – financial services experience is a +++. Comp is a $250K package (base + bonus).

Thanks.

Doug
