But this should be a short lived threat.

Idaho Bowhunter Reportedly Kills Charging Wolf

The viewer claims the woman was bow-hunting in Northern Idaho when the wolf saw her and charged. She reportedly dropped her bow and shot the wolf in the head with a 44-Magnum.

Arlington man who fatally shot burglar gets 12 years for murder

EVERETT — In the end, a judge decided that the case wasn’t about a murder.

What Keira Earhart did was more akin to manslaughter, Snohomish County Superior Court Judge Larry McKeeman concluded on Wednesday. He sentenced the Arlington man to a dozen years in prison — three years below the standard range.

Earhart shot Ryan Rzechula in the back on Nov. 16, 2009. Earhart, 39, encountered Rzechula about three hours after a break-in at his Arlington house, a quarter-mile away. Earhart had gone looking for the burglar and his wife’s missing jewelry. He suspected that Rzechula, 25, was responsible for the break-in and called 911.

Texas violating Second Amendment rights of teenagers – KOSA (West Texas)

If he’d have been properly outfitted for a hike, like a Misguided Child, he have had his primary weapon, a rifle, to send the darned goat to pet heaven. Even a secondary weapon, like a girlie 380, would have been enough to “shoo away” anything smaller than a grizzly. Grizzly might have required a reload. My personal preference, from my time in the ‘Effete Force’, is the good old urban yute discouragement device Colt M1945. Guaranteed to turn an “aggressive Mountain Goat” into Shepherd’s Pie. And, “discourage” everything including the aforementioned grizzly. Of course, the poor victim would then have to face charges for the firearm’s discharge, ruining the goat’s day, and who knows what else PETA could dream up. But he’d be alive. Unbelievable!

In a car theft, the car thief wants your property – whether it’s for a joy ride or turning a profit. That is to say, he’s looking for and making off with an empty vehicle. By definition, a carjacking shows much more violent intentions. The carjacker knowingly and purposely confronts an individual (or individuals) in an aggressive manner and the end result for the victim is often violence or death. The aggressor may desire to take the victim along with the vehicle, or, as is often the case, the attack and ensuing response from the victim results in a panicked aggressor who reacts with brute force. If the carjack victim is a woman, there is the additional risk of enduring a brutal rape.

Police protection is an oxymoron.

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. >From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.   

You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late!

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.

With guns, we are ‘citizens’. Without them, we are ‘subjects’.

During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!

The purpose of fighting is to win.
There is no possible victory in defense.
The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either.
The final weapon is the brain.

As he inspected the home, a man dressed in dark clothing and wielding a sword sprung out at him. Police say the burglar threatened Lish and walked toward him.
