This movie actually made me feel sorry for the politicians. That’s a powerful statement since they are like used car salesmen. Worth the price.

Movie is technically excellent.
The new reserved seating, like the stage plays, causes great confusion, long lines, and extra time to get everyone settled down.
Katniss is not as sexy as she was in the first one. (Guess she’s gone Hollywood. Had work done? Lost weigh? Toned up more? And hence, she’s lost some of the “softness of features” and sexiness.)
One main character changed, effie, and it hurts.
Best line: “remember who the real enemy is”.
Something we should all remember!

I won with one of my three other holders, #10.
Then $100 is added to the #2 progressive to make it $500.
When I was playing, I got the #2 and #7 and one $25 and one $20 and two $10 and two $5. At that point, I stopped playing. I believed I had the largest portion of the value winnable.

FUN: What a water bill

(A special form of “mental illness” that makes one crazy in the middle of the night!)
Last night’s was so funny.
I dreamt I received a Water Bill from the shore house where they subtracted my address in VA (i.e., 1641) from the house address (i.e., 51) to compute my water and sewer used. My “fright” was I was at the office and couldn’t make anyone see the error.
It was really funny.
Not so funny about the “cold sweat” and changing everything at about 3AM.
But now I can laugh about it.
… maybe that bisll is in the mail?

Tossing out pickle juice is always a little sad — all that flavor, all that hard work down the drain! Sure, you can reuse pickle juice for your next pickling project, but there are plenty of other things to do with it, both edible and not! Packed with salt and vinegar, it’s no surprise that the stuff is great for recycling. Here are some ideas:
Cooking:
Flavor salad dressings and sauces. Use the pickle juice in lieu of vinegar in recipes.
Add it to mac and cheese!
Liven up soups.
Flavor bland veggies. Drizzle over some steamed or roasted veggies for a great flavor boost.
Lighter boiled potatoes. Add a generous dash of pickle juice to the the boiling water. The flavor works so well, you can skip all the fattening and unhealthy extras like sour cream, mayo, butter, and added salt.
Pickle-y cheese. Marinate soft white cheese in pickle juice for a great tangy appetizer.
Drink it! Try a pickletini. Seriously, it’s a real thing.

A prehensile porcupine aka coendou is from South America found in the rainforests of Brazil. They use their prehensile tail to help climb and maneuver in the trees where they spend most of their lives. They are rodents and are closely related to rats and mice. They have 2 large incisors on the top and bottom which are ever-growing and need to be chiseled against each other in order to keep them the right size. Kemosabe only has 1 top incisor so he needs help from a veterinarian to file his teeth so they don’t overgrow and prevent him from being able to eat.

My ex-neice-in-law gave me Taylor Swift concert tickets for tonight’s show.
I’ll be the fat old white guy injineer singing along with all the teeny, tweeny, and teen girls.

(Have to stay young someway. And, @tswift13 is excellent role model in a “Secular Progressive” society.)
So, I’m out for fun.
Last time I went to show like this was back in the folk singing 60’s. Although I did see one of PPM’s last shows at George Mason University. (Mary Travers, RIP)
I think Tay is this generation’s folk singer and poetess laureate. And, a very charitable person.
Interesting to me is how she has transitioned from strictly country to country / pop / teen. While growning to womanhood. Sort of like Shirley Temple Black. Wonder if she can reinvent like Madona does; without the sleaze.
Any way.
Maybe I’ll get an autograph. Laff. If for some reason I get a gold wrist band, I’ll pass it to one of the youngsters. What would I say to her? “Good job”!
