The international community enabled the birth of Israel

Also too often forgotten or ignored is the fact that it was thanks to Britain and the other Allied Powers that Arab nation-states rose from the Ottoman ashes. Among them: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Yemen.

Say what you want, but the “international community” didn’t give Israel anything. Other than the right to fight for their “homeland”. 

So to, anyone, who wants freedom enough to die for it, “deserves” to have it regardless of anyone else’s “opinion”.

Seems that instead of the USA’s failed policy of “nation building”, it should shift of a Swiss like “recognition” of reality. Regardless of who’s “ox” gets gored, it’s in the USA’s national interest to be at peace. Calming the fires of nationalistic fervor would seem to be a good start.

To all those who want “freedom”, I’d urge caution — be careful what you ask for, you might get it. And, as we’ve seen in many cases, “freedom” and “democracy” often morph uncontrollably in socialism, communism, and other forms of dictatorships.
