Once again this week, MOZY is signalling that it hasn't abcked up in week. Why? It's had ample opportunities. So, there clearly is something that I'll have to report to beta test hq. Hmm. How did this get through alpha?

FWIW when I specifically instructed it to “backup”, it did. Why it doesn't work to do it automagically, I have no idea.
Interesting that if you were to depend upon it, then you might be disappointed. I, being a belt and suspenders guy, never depend on any ONE thing to back me up. As I say that’s why the Intelligent Designer created old laptops for … … backing up. Who care how ugly or slow they are. All you want them to do is sit ‘n’ spin. Like the kids toy. If they die, oh well, the old gray nag went down doing her duty. Besides when they do fail, it’s not like you won’t notice.
I've been burned by backups before. Hence my saying “backups don’t”!
If you don’t have a strategy to periodically use them, then you are like a Willie Coyote running off the cliff. Wave bye bye to your data!
