CBS News remained mum Wednesday amid mounting pressure to release the full transcript of Kamala Harris’ interview with “60 Minutes” — even as a former correspondent said there’s “precedent” for the network doing so when it came to Donald Trump.
Ex-CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge — who was laid off earlier this year as she investigated the Hunter Biden laptop scandal — said the network released the full, unedited transcript of her interview with Trump when he was president in 2020.
The Republican presidential candidate has demanded CBS News publish the full interview with Harris after accusations that the Tiffany Network edited her “word salad” answers during the sit-down with Bill Whitaker.
“As Trump campaign calls on @60Minutes to release ‘full, unedited transcript’ of Kamala Harris interview… There is precedent,” Herridge posted on X on Wednesday.

This demonstrates once again, like in the Hunter Biden laptop story, CBS and the rest of the corporate media is an arm of the Obama DNC.
Walter Cronkite, who was a shill too, at least pretended to be fair and balanced.
Argh!
No wonder the traditional media is being ignored.

Apple threatens to upend podcasting’s free, open architecture
by John Sullivan, Professor of Media and Communication, Muhlenberg College

A medium that exploded due to the lack of institutional gatekeepers is now seeing big tech companies act like traditional media networks, signing popular hosts and shows to exclusive contracts. Of course, other publishers like Slate and Stitcher have offered subscriptions to their shows via their own websites and mobile apps. But the m
uch larger audience share of Apple Podcasts and Spotify has much greater potential to move the podcast ecosystem in the direction of premium paid content.
This presents a potential long-term threat to the free, open architecture of podcasting, though projects like The Podcast Index are aiming to preserve the medium as platform-agnostic.
One thing is for certain: Apple and Spotify have given us a glimpse of a podcasting future where the walled gardens of platform-exclusive, premium content become the norm.

Guess that’s all that can save us from paywalls and the Apple Tax?

Elite Eight Basketball Player Snaps Leg in Game — See Pictures of the Pain, Teammates’ Emotion

Sports Nation reporter Roger Sherman described the injury as looking as “horrible as soon as it happened — we’re gonna go ahead and not show it to you; it’s really not the type of injury that’s typical in a basketball game — but I think you can pretty much gauge how bad it was from the reactions of his teammates and coach Rick Pitino.”
Teammates fell on the court, wiping their eyes in emotion seeing Ware’s state. Duke players too were filled with compassion toward their opponent.
Here is footage of the scene (Note: it might be consider graphic to some):

“No longer viewable due to a copyright claim by CBS”
So history is no longer the province of the People.
Want more proof that the Media manipulates the news?
Anyone want to claim that this is not “news” and in the public interest?
Hope the man recovers as promised, but I still object to the manipulation of history.

THe President gets away from the Press for a golf weekend.
Other than Tiger, what fat cats were with him?
Enquiring minds what to know. What deals were struck? What promises were exchanged?
Where are the yellow dog journalists that like Woodward and Bernstein drive on the truth no matter what the cost?
Oh year, Nixon was an R and Obama is a D!
Argh!

More complaints about “transparency”!

And WMAL radio reported this morning that the “pool reporters had an off-the-record meeting with the President”. The point was who authorized them to agree to “off-the-record”?
My question is WHY was the Press precluded from its normal coverage (as with past Presidents)?

Another Letter from A.X. Perez
Anyone who has any doubt about the pro administration bias of the media or the anti gun bias of our media need only look at the current Secret Service scandal. I may be mistaken but it seems to me that over the last two weeks the news have given more time to the fuss created by Secret Service agents trying to cheat prostitutes out of their pay than it has given the Gunwalker Scandal over the last two years.
Anyone who pays attention to things will note that more people have been fired, reprimanded, or allowed to quit over cheapskate gate (doesn’t even rate caps) than have been punished over Operation Fast and Furious. Apparently the Government “error” which caused the deaths of some two hundred or so Mexican citizens, plus American citizens killed because they were visiting kin in Mexico, plus at least two American Law Enfocement agents is less noteworthy than Secret Service agents defrauding whores.

After all “Fast and Furious” only killed a few hundred people that we know about. “Prostitute-gate” allows them to rip the conservative white-male organization as part of the “war on women”.

Marilyn Monroe alleged sex film surfaces

(AP) BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – A Spanish collector plans to auction what he claims is a newly discovered 8-mm version of a film purportedly showing Marilyn Monroe having sex when she was still an underage actress known as Norma Jean Baker.

Monroe died of an overdose of sleeping pills in 1962 at 36.

Have the decency to let the poor befuddled woman Rest In Peace.
She was probably murdered.
And, not JFK’s, nor RFK’s, finest hours.
Say a prayer that these “collector” folks all get what they deserve, and that all involved have as well.
Shame on CBS for treating this as “news”.
We have girls and boys dying around the world, people are starving in Africa, and baking to death here in the USA. That’s “news”!
Argh!
