Google Shuts Down Traffic To Mercola.com – LewRockwell

Friday, July 5, 2019

Who is Dr. Joseph Mercola? Well, he’s a well-known doctor who left the mainstream medical industry and has changed the lives of many through various avenues, and one of those avenues is through spreading information and awareness. Mercola.com is one of the most popular sites that has been providing information that the powerful elite, mainstream media, and big pharma definitely don’t want you to know about.

Ep. 42 Former Military Intelligence Sergeant Donnie Gebert Explains That a Direct Republic Is Now Possible – Bob Murphy Show

Thursday, July 4, 2019

Like the Matrix, you cannot be told about a 3-hour conversation with Donnie Gebert; you must hear it for yourself. But here’s the blurb from his book: “All members of a direct republic sign…the constitution/social contract. This contract states you will not engage in murder, rape, theft, and basic crimes against humanity. Once signed, the individual becomes their own representative and places social contributions directly into the funding pools for the social projects they approve of.”

Vin Suprynowicz » Blog Archive » I’m sure it says in the Constitution ‘The President’s motives must be Politically Correct.’ Keep looking, it has to be in there somewhere . . .

Wednesday, July 3, 2019

Let me get the straight: The Chinese Communists, with all their resources, still haven’t compiled and translated a basic biography of Donald Trump? He knew the Post Foundation considered the Mar-A Lago estate in South Florida a white elephant that they couldn’t afford to properly maintain, at the cost of several million greenbacks per year. (The U.S. government turned it down as a tax-funded “Winter White House”; even the Smithsonian turned it down.) So when Marjorie Merriweather Post’s descendants put the property on the market at $25 million, Trump offered . . . 15.

They snorted at this upstart. The nerve! And he was even proposing to let Jews and blacks play golf there! (Play back that part where they claim Trump, a former New York Democrat whose grandchildren are Jewish, is a “racist,” will you?)

But when they couldn’t find anyone else to meet even THAT price, they grudgingly went back to Trump . . . who proceeded to tell them “You had a chance at 15 but you turned it down. My offer is now $12 million.”

Outraged at such tactics, the Posts turned him down AGAIN, . . . and paid the price again, eventually selling to Trump for . . . $8 million.

Is Putin Right? Has Liberalism Lost the World?, by Pat Buchanan – The Unz Review

Tuesday, July 2, 2019

Why is liberalism failing? Several causes, said Putin. Among them, its failure to deal with the crisis of the age: mass and unchecked illegal migration. Putin praised Trump’s efforts to secure the U.S. border:

“This liberal idea has become obsolete. It has come into conflict with the interests of the overwhelming majority of the population. … This liberal idea presupposes that … migrants can kill, plunder and rape with impunity because their rights as migrants have to be protected.”

Democrats are having a socialist moment, but it won’t last :: Jeff Jacoby

Tuesday, July 2, 2019

Socialism is profoundly at odds with the American experience, and always has been. The Mayflower passengers who settled in Plymouth sought to build a socialist society avant la lettre, one in which, as Governor William Bradford later recounted, there would be no private ownership of property and “all profits and benefits” were to be part of “the common stock.” The settlers wanted a system in which everyone would work for the common good, and there would be no inequality of wealth. What they got was a painful lesson in socialism’s failures, with rising levels of hunger, corruption, and persecution. Only after the colony reversed course in 1623 and established private property rights did its fortunes change for the better.

Taylor Swift ‘Sad and Grossed Out’ by Big Machine Acquisition – Variety

Monday, July 1, 2019

Taylor Swift has described herself as “sad and grossed out” by Scooter Braun’s acquisition of Big Machine Records, which holds the rights to her entire catalog up through 2017’s “Reputation,” calling the deal “my worst case scenario.” Swift said she was shocked to first learn of the transfer of her work through news accounts Sunday morning. Braun declined Variety‘s requests for comment.

Swift posted her impassioned reaction in a Tumblr post, which reads:“For years I asked, pleaded for a chance to own my work. Instead I was given an opportunity to sign back up to Big Machine Records and ‘earn’ one album back at a time, one for every new one I turned in. I walked away because I knew once I signed that contract, Scott Borchetta would sell the label, thereby selling me and my future. I had to make the excruciating choice to leave behind my past. Music I wrote on my bedroom floor and videos I dreamed up and paid for from the money I earned playing in bars, then clubs, then arenas, then stadiums.

Report: Food Freedom Flourishes in Three States with Government Regulators Out of the Way | | Tenth Amendment Center

Sunday, June 30, 2019

Food freedom flourishes in states where government regulators simply get out of the way. The proof is in the pudding – the and cakes and the bread and the raw milk.

According to a recent Forbes article, hundreds of local business have sprouted up across three states that have passed food freedom laws in recent years without a single report of foodborne illness.

Food freedom laws exempt small food producing businesses from onerous regulations and licensing requirements. These businesses can sell directly to the consumer from a home, farm or ranch, as well as at farmers’ markets and roadside stands.

Wyoming enacted the first such law in 2015. The expansive law even allows poultry farmers with fewer than 1,000 birds to sell chicken and turkey, along with products made from their birds. It also authorizes the sale of raw milk, rabbit meat and most farm-raised fish.

RANT: The “Delphic Oracle” problem — Predict but can’t change

Friday, June 28, 2019

2019-Jun-28

Anyone else find that they can “predict” the future, but are powerless to change it.

I call it the “Delphic Oracle” problem.

*** begin quote ***

The Delphic Oracle was the most influential religious site in the ancient Greek world.  Speaking from a tripod in a crypt under the temple of Apollo at Delphi, the priestess called the Pythia acted as a medium for the god, and spoke the divine prophecies while in a state of trance or possession.

*** end quote ***

When people ask the Oracle a question, they got a cryptic answer and the heard what the wanted.

Sometimes when people pose a “problem” to me, I give them my best answer. And then they go off and do what they want.

Often, I can foresee the consequences of choices — no great skill to “foresee” a disaster from an “obviously” bad choice — but it’s frustrating that you can’t prevent the disaster.

Argh!

Maybe the solution is to just stop “advising” or “predicting” and  just say “no opinion” or some other weasel words or platitudes.

Argh!

“Hmmm, that’s an interesting question, or situation, what do you think is the best course of action?”

The FCC Is Siding With Landlords and Comcast Over Tenants Who Want Broadband Choices | Electronic Frontier Foundation

Friday, June 28, 2019

Right to Choose Communications Services Provider” ordinance (also known as Article 52) that hinders a payola scheme cooked up between big cable companies like Comcast and landlords. In just a few short years since its enactment, a great number of apartments in San Francisco have at least four options for broadband service, including affordable gigabit fiber service. Fearing that other cities would follow suit, a whole range of associations and corporations that represent landlords and the cable industry pushed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) hard to block these local efforts. For a federal agency tasked with promoting competition, it shouldn’t be a close call to simply ignore these groups. But that is not what the FCC plans to do next month.

Did she forget who created what she’s calling “concentration camps”?

Yup, BHO44.

Did she forget who started separating “children” from their “families”?

Yup, BHO44.  In his defense, it appears that these are not “families” but children are rented to provide cover for the invasion.

Did she forget who started dumping muslim “refugees” in Wisconsin?

Yup, BHO44. And, now they are voting just like the D’s wanted all along.

These “refugees” are taking over the USA and it’s not going to be pretty or good for the USA.

And, with respect to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez AKA AOC, the word “insipience” comes to mind. (It was used on me when I was in Manhattan Prep. Manhattan Community Access Corp. v. Halleck

The court held that Manhattan Community Access Corp., the private nonprofit corporation runs public access television channels in Manhattan, is not a “state actor” and is therefore not subject to the First Amendment. Libertarians will agree that the private property rights of the corporation overrule any standards mandated by the government.
