If TWA Flight 800 had exploded off the coast of Long Island in July 2001 as visibly as it had in July 1996, the world would have been told a different story, even if there had been a Democrat in the White House.

On the night of July 17, 1996, and into the early morning hours of the 18th, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Deputy National Security Adviser Sandy Berger huddled fretfully in the family quarters of the White House.

The election they thought was in the bag no longer was.

The air-traffic controllers had already reported. The radar data told a story not easily untold.

And now, eyewitness reports were flooding in. The explosion had taken place right at sunset, just 10 miles off the coast, on a perfect night, with thousands of people looking out over the sea from Long Island’s popular south shore.

In 2001, some clever soul would have started collecting their tales on a website before the tide turned, literally and figuratively. And the tales they had to tell!

Look at any of the “conspiracy theories” and you still say that none of them are true.

Your Gooferment couldn’t possibly lie like that.

Clinton, looks the American television audience in the eye and without a shrug of shame, lies.

Sorry, but we deserve what we get.

It’s hard not to have a tin foil hat when you read these “pages” that blow the lid. To me, even as a kid, that crappy gun that Oswald purportedly used was prima facie evidence that the story didn’t wash. Now that I know even more about guns, it’d have to be a miracle.

For a long time I had harbored the suspicion that the shooting of President Kennedy could not have happened as it had been disclosed. A long time ago, on a weekend, a program came on television concerning the assassination of the President. The documentary was shown on the History Channel, and Peter Jennings narrated it. As I watched the telecast I began to realize that some of the details of the shooting stated during the broadcast sounded vague, and were perhaps not entirely factual. The program featured the complete footage of the Zapruder film. After watching this program my previous suspicions regarding the assassination of President Kennedy were essentially confirmed. I began having serious doubts as to what had been officially disclosed concerning the shooting.

Having lived through that time and, at the time with barely an elementary understanding of guns, the “lone assassin with an old rifle”never made sense to me.

Maybe it’s my tin foil hat. Might be on too tight.

I don’t consider myself a “full fledged birther”. They claim BHO44 is not eligible. I just don’t understand why he is spending 2M$ to prevent disclosure of ANY of his documents. College papers, loan apps, etc. etc. etc. and the original birth certificate.

I just don’t understand. And, how he can get away with it.

Does he have a driver’s license? Did he present his birth certificate? I had to. Passport? Ditto. I just don’t understand. It’s frustrating.

Howland, ordered McVeigh to be held without bail after listening to four hours of testimony from FBI special agent John Hersley in which he described eyewitness accounts of a yellow Mercury with McVeigh and another man inside speeding away from a parking lot near the federal building.”

Rather than put a single witness on the stand who could place McVeigh in or near Oklahoma City on April 19, the prosecution chose to build an entire case on circumstantial evidence.

The Justice Department had lost all interest in the eyewitnesses as soon as the White House had established its talking points. They also lost interest in any Islamic connection.

“Could the al-Qaida explosives expert [Ramzi Yousef] have been introduced to the angry American [Terry Nichols] who proclaimed his hatred for America,” writes Richard Clarke of Nichols’ visit to the Philippines in “Against All Enemies.” “We do not know, despite some FBI investigation.”

“Some FBI investigation”? Why was there not a massive FBI investigation? The reason is fairly obvious: McVeigh and Nichols served as poster boys for the natural progression of the “Republican revolution.”
