Realization: “Free” ain’t so free

With the site failure, from my pov, over at preople, which “lost” my ramblings over the last few weeks, I realize that I can’t “afford” free services. Especially free services that cause me to “invest” my time with them. I have to think in terms of ROI for all technologies. It’s real easy to get in, but hard to exit, and most hard when you get thrown out on your ear. Additionally, maybe some of my ramblings are just for me. Hmmmm

Azureus client for Bit Torrent protocol

Well I noodled around and was not able to figure out a work around that would let me participate in the Bit Torrent p2p network. If you’re NATed and don’t have access to the router, like when you’re at work, or don’t have the time to jigger around with a working home network, then you are sol.
