Today’s news on 1015 quoted Corzine as considering 4 measure to “increase revenue to close the budget gap”. I translate that to mean “steal more money at gun point form the unsuspecting”. Notice how lowering spending is never an option. How about: (1) eliminating state pensions by creating 401ks; (2) eliminate spending by an across the board cut; (3) nuke all the earmarks and other pork; and (4) roll back the tax increase represented by the 1% sales tax. That’s without getting on the big ticket items: (1) the dole and (2) the gubamint reeducation camps!

Today on 1015, the news reported that NJ wants to take DNA from those arrested (yes, arrested not convicted), for submission to the Feds.

Argh!

(1) Arrested, not convicted.

(2) It’s their body. It violates the most basic of human rights. Everyone owns their own bodies.

(3) This is the use of aggressive force.

(4) And the FED, STATES, and gooferment are so good at securing stuff.

(5) Do we really trust the gooferment with the essence of who we are?

(6) That essence will be sold to the drug companies and everyone who will fork over a few bucks.

(7) Slippery slope. Take it from babies. Match with the SSN. Now they can be “tracked”. “Vere isss yur paaapers?”

(8) Sure we “matched” your dna! We know that you killed Jack Kennedy from dna taken on the grassy knoll. Trust us, were the gooferment.

And, the prosecutor’s quote about making their job easier? Get a real job. You’re job is supposed to be difficult. You’re supposed to prove something.

And, did you believe the Barbara striesand about how they use dna to clear people. Right. Those prisons are just full of people proven innocent.

Sheesh, how dumb do you think we are? Pretty dumb.

JimG on 1015 was on the bandwagon this morning saying that there were three state senators that deserved kudos for their actions in this joke in trenton.

I prefer to judge the entire corpus on what it produces … nothing, nada, nyet.

An unconstitutional income test on property tax relief.

Even over and above that it is unconstitutional, it’s more progressive socialism right out of the Communist manifesto.

The same day the news broke that state worker benefits cost 2 billion this year and are unfunded by 80 billion over some time period.

If I was in Trenton, then I say “Sorry, we can’t afford to pay benefits. Sorry, we can’t afford pensions. Sorry we can’t afford this nonsensical public government education. Sorry, we can’t afford the dole.”

Dual office holding would end, tomorrow. Pick your favorite job and that’s it. Freeze retirements. Age becomes 65! Pensions, no. 401k, yes. Benefits, phase out.

It’s my way or the highway.

Oh, and can that feather brained scheme. Selling the highway to give the politicians more money to blow. “I”, the New Jersey Taxpayer paid to build it. Why sell it? So, I can pay more for it again. Are you idiots out of your collective minds?

It wouldn’t be SO bad, but (1) they didn’t tell you; AND (2) it’s the same ad! Argh!

Jim G. on 1015 is exposing the slugs ‘n’ thugs in Trenton for the hippo-crits they are. (Hippo = a large dangerous animal and “crit” for the gang like the bloods)!! In Jim’s rant, he points out that they are trying to pull the wool over the taxpayer’s eyes. When you disassemble the “tax cut”, it is meaningless.

He also picked up another “drum”. PA is bigger and has more people than NJ, yet their state budget is about a third less than “our”.

This of course overlooks the moral argument. What give you the right to rob me to pay for your kid’s education? What gives the State the right to run “education” which is merely brainwashing future “citizens”? And why is the State permitted to run such an inefficient operation with so much corruption?

The answer: They have the guns!

This law is un-American. We have always stood for the rights of the individual to a fair proceeding. Aside for the “small” fact that torture is immoral, it is also inefficient. When under duress, people will tell you what they think you want to hear. It’s ineffective because after torture, if the person was NOT your sworn enemy before it, they certainly will be afterwards. Stop it now.

They have actually broken what roboform used to handle quite nicely.

They now have a screen for userid and then a screen for passwords.

Can, will, roboform support this “security theater”?

One is Paytrust and the other is Vangard.

I don’t understand how this helps ME. I understand that it gives them a more plausible defense should someone break in.

Knowing the answers to questions that can be relatively easily found out, ain’t gonna cut it.

On today’s morning news, the prison guards aka the school government workers are meeting to come up with ways to prevent that “tragic accident” from recurring.

Admirable idea.

What do you think the chances are that the “guards” will even think about closing the “prison camp”?

Zero is my guess.

Of course all the remaining inmates, and all future inmates, at that particular institution of detainment will suffer the wisdom of fools as new “great ideas” are tried on them.

Oh I am sure it will be “just to keep our children safe”.

When do the inmates stop being “children”?

Now the deaths of four people is bad. The deaths of three young people is bad. But, let’s not overlook some specific responsibilities.

(1) The driver (?) for operating that car in an unsafe manner and violating the law by probably speeding and having other juveniles in the car. (So how does adding MORE laws change anything.)

(2) The parents (?) for failure to train, supervise, and equip their offspring for life.

(3) The school for imprisoning them … …

(I can hear the collective “huh” out there.)

Yup, if there was no law mandating them to be at the Government Youth Propaganda Camp for most of their day, where their little minds full of mush were filled with more mush, like self-esteem and self-confidence, then (that might have killed them) they could have been at home being schooled by their family.

Or maybe working at a business gaining real skills and an appreciation for for how much cars and car insurance costs.

Certainly there would have been no escaping from the penal colony at the end of day and feeling the need to be “free”. Perhaps they were throwing off their shackles and feeling freedom.

It’s a shame that they thought they were indestructible. I wonder where they could have learned such a silly concept?

So I blame the driver, the parents, the school, and the politicians who made such stupid laws like “mandatory attendance” and “government run education”. That’s what killed those four people!

You can’t possibly think that soliciting sex from minors over the internet is on par with removing 5 classified documents and notes about them from Archives. One of those crimes is a serious violation of the rights of a human being, while the other is at most a minor security risk. Why would ABC need to report about the Sandy Berger story? He confessed! And besides, the DOJ and NARA seemed very eager to investigate him, a member of the Democratic Party. Is that a conspiarcy, too? Sure, Berger did a stupid thing and an illegal thing, but he did not violate the rights of children. I’m sick that you would even equate the two.

We don’t know for sure WHAT Berger did. Nor why. We, because a sweetheart plea deal, lost any opportunity to turn the screws on him to find out: EXACTLY what he did and at whose behest and or benefit. It could be an INDICTMENT of BOTH President Clinton and Bush. Removing something that embarrasses both of them is just the type of thing that would get a win, nod, and handshake of both parties. A political mulligan for want of a better term. This is exactly the type of corruption that shakes to the core any belief in the basic honesty of politicians. While Foley and the pages is disgustingly terrible, undermining the legitimacy of the government is HUGE imho.
