D-Day: 81 Years Ago Today the Greatest Generation Pulled Off a Miracle

*** begin quote ***

The Greatest Generation accomplished one of the most unbelievable military victories in history.

The odds were stacked against them, facing certain death. The Allies had 160,000 troops, 5,000 ships, and 13,000 aircraft.

How soon we forget.  While “We, The Sheeple” fritter away the advantages they secured for us.

Homeless vets, a VA hospital system that tries to kill its patients, and perfidious politicians that use “patriotism” to embroil us in the endless creation on new vets are all examples of what’s wrong.

HEALTH: Fried foods are really “greasy”

Friday, June 6, 2025

Personal Observation:

Got some take out last night and it came with French Fries.  My better half today gave me all the fries to break up for the birds.  In the process of doing that, my hands were covered with “grease” and some of it leaked out on the bottom of the dish.

Yuck!

I’ve come to the conclusion somewhat very very belatedly, that all that “grease” can’t be good for our health.  Some of it actually congealed at room temperature into globs.  Clearly that can’t be good for veins and arteries.

Now I love McDonald’s French Fries when they are hot as well as KFC.

(Was the name change from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC because they took the “chicken” out?)

But no more, too much grease in  anything “fried”?

YMMV FWIW
