  • The Punishing Signal sees red lights reset their countdown if drivers honk horns
  • Decibel readers were set up above traffic lights in Mumbai to read noise levels
  • If the reading goes above 85 decibels then the red light will reset

That’s one approach that seems “fair”.

I want traffic lights that countdown to changing color.  It would make the “flow” on roads better and avoid a lot of indecision when you get “caught” in the no man’s zone.

Just my opinion.  After all they lights are basically the same since they were invented?
