Oh come one. Give me a break. Get a life.
Does ANYONE really believe “three days straight”?
I question why success in Hollywood or marrying right give ANYONE the right to LECTURE us on anything! Certain making over-the-top statements doesn’t incline me to listen to them seriously.
The death of a child, a loved one, a natural disaster … things to be sad about. A politician … please.
I don’t think it is possible to “cry for three days straight”. Humans aren’t build that way. We eat, we drink, we poop, we laff, we cry. Three days? Come on.
For Drudge to highlight it, is to showcase the fool.

U.S. District Judge John Shabaz on Friday dismissed the lawsuit brought by Andy Samuel Griffith, who played Sheriff Andy Taylor on the popular 1960s TV series.

I always enjoy Kent’s blog. That’s why it’s in my HOF roll on the side. (That’s probably a misnomer. Since there’s no “hall” and very little “fame” to be garnered here.)
I think the essence of this “tip” is to always be aware of lessons, where you find them, what you take them from then, and what you actually do with them. Many of the gurus always cite the need to obsess about the “Customer”.
A “Customer” may NOT be what you are thinking. Stretch you thinking. It can be a Colleague at work to whom you say “good job”. That’s a “Customer” for your leadership offering.

Well this makes me laff. I’m not doing it anytime soon.
I guess the entity that sent us into the Garden of Eden must be saying “well after a grazillion years, these people are finally getting the idea of what I intended”. It’s hard to be proud when you’re standing in your birthday suit. It’s also hard to look down — or anywhere — on someone else. Heaven forbid you see a beautiful women. Instant approval?
On a somber note, when I saw the picture (NSFW), I was reminded of the Nazi death camps. That’ll put some chill in the humor that the photo evokes.
UPDATE: GLANEC reports (correctly) that the big fat url is broken. However the tiny url works. Maybe copying it over munged it up. Use the tinyurl!

Subject: Life moves on. So should you.
Life’s too short to waste on those who aren’t absolutely perfect for you. Of course rejection hurts, but now is the time to develop your response to it. Now, I’m not Doctor Phil, nor a trained psychologist, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I can state unequivocally and with absolute certainty, it’ll happen again. Unless you get hit with the proverbial mack truck in the next ten minutes, (Brother Jasper forbid!), you’ll have to deal with rejection many times in your life. I have. Everyone does. Of course rejections hurt, you invest some of yourself in the relationship. The trick is in your response. You’re smart, beautiful, child of God. Who would NOT want to cherish you? A butt head. Just know in your heart that some day when he’s alone in his soul, he’ll wonder what could have been. And, that’s a killer! You OTOH will know that you did miss a thing. I know that all we can control in life is how we react to “stuff”. Glass half-full, joy! Glass half-empty, sadness. You are how you perceive events, react to or not react to “stuff”, and how you think about things. Your pair-of-dimes (paradigm — your mental models and memes) is your car fare to your destiny. Don’t waste it on a bad trip. Go for the gusto, bliss, or joy. Where ever you see it! Waste not a minute, for all to soon you’ll be old like me, and commenting to young Jaspers. Then think of me saying nice things to you. :-) And, give that youngster good advice. fjohn68
