We sent 11 packages with Air Tags through priority mail last month. Here’s where they went.

  • In January, we boxed up 11 packages with Apple AirTags and shipped them to different locations in the Houston area. The packages were tracked in real time.

Ultimately, only one package was delivered by the “expected” delivery date. In fact, it was early – arriving in just two days. The rest of the packages took up to five days to arrive.

    Jan. 26 ……… one package delivered

    Jan. 30 ……… three packages delivered

    Jan. 31 ……… three packages delivered

    Feb. 1 ………. four packages delivered

Pretty sad but to be expected.  I had a disappointing result with FedEx.  So what can you use?

The Postal Service’s pilot postal banking program is struggling to win customers. Yet, USPS officials “expect to expand the pilot into a fuller study with more locations and financial products” after the new year. This announcement has members in both the Senate and House of Representatives questioning the Postal Service’s authority to launch the program in the first place.

It just subsidized junk mail, Amazon, and UPS.

Don’t tell me that the politicians and bureaucrats are worried about the poor people who are unbanked and forced to use “check cashing” places at exorbitant costs.  WalMart offered to solve that problem for the US by offering banking series at every WalMart store. 

Seriously, let’s just outsource USPS to WalMart and save a lot of money.

Look at all the real estate that could be sold to entrepreneurs for better uses. 

Argh!

Interesting personal experience

Had to send a return via UPS. Since I had some other stuff to send, I used them.

I usually use USPS priority mail that costs 6$+ and change with a free envelope.

UPS was 10$+, but they charged separately for the envelope.

If UPS is a proxy for the “real cost”, then this explains how the USPS loses so much money.

Time to put the USPS out of its misery.

Yday, I made a trip to the PO to get some post cars.

Have none. Haven’t had any for months. Don’t know when they will get any.

Interesting.

No wonder they are broke.

Typical Gooferment agency — immoral, ineffective, and inefficient!
